A few years ago my eldest daughter had a friend whose stepdad was found to be grooming her. It started when she was 10 and didn’t come to light until she was 13 when she confided in a teaching assistant. He had 2 bio sons that he had no interest in whatsoever, but his stepdaughter he took swimming, to the park, shopping Etc. No one batted an eyelid when her behaviour around him changed. The signs were there, but they were ignored and I think this is what happening with Isabelle. Would you say the comments about Chris & Isabelle were disgusting if it turned out he was grooming her? If everybody turned a blind eye people like Chris continue to get away with it. Nobody knows what happens behind closed doors. There maybe something going on there may not be, but it’s clear people have noticed that things are not quite right.Going out on a limb here, I think he’s truly disgusting and not being on YouTube should have been the very least of his punishments. The holiday was going to be the gifted one to Spain so just a laze by the pool kinda holiday. So when they say they take them outta school for educational holidays I don’t think an all inclusive pool holiday to Spain is educational!!So they were taking Iddy Biddy out of school AGAIN next week then?
The latest school guidance is that ALL pupils will go back from September. Yes, they will progress into a new year with a new teacher and we will plug the gaps to the best of our ability!My girls have all left school now.What i`m wondering though is ,every September they`d go into a new year ,new teacher.Does anyone with school aged children know how the schools will go forward after Covid? I`m in the South if England ,and checking out from Sainsburys last week the lady before me was saying they`d had notification that her son could go back this week ,then they received another saying ,no ,school didn`t have enough places?(I`m assuming that`s to do with key workers getting first chance with getting their kids in school.I know also it`s very limited ,as my best friend ,her two neices were able to go back as their father was a keyworker (even tho mum was home) there were THREE kids in the oldest girls class.WOndering how all you mums` are coping too?xx
Yes I would imagine so - we still have to pay for my daughter who goes to a Girls Day School Trust school - we receive a discount but they are still getting the same lessons online at the same time, she joins a zoom call and they get taught exactly the same as they would do in school but they are sat at home. 8:30am till 3:30pm and the only difference is that PE is free time for them to do exercise and they have no homework because the head doesn't want them spending more time in front of a screen. They even did their end of year exams a few weeks ago. I cant believe they are paying for these girls and they dont seem to have any structure. MY daughter is in year 7 and apart from seeing the teachers and her friends face to face we dont feel she has missed out at all.Does anyone know if Sarah and Chris still have to pay for isabelle and esme’s private school even though their not sending them in?
