@TapToBoreMeRigid what did you get up to on your week with him?
He went out to work at 5am and came home at about 1pm. I slept, watched tennis on his Sky TV and smoked cigarettes. When he was there we had sex, (I wanna barf), or he'd wank off his mushroom over my boobs. He had a very long and thin penis with a ridiculously disproportionate glans. He would cook Chicken Dippers for us. It's all he ate. He had nothing else in. I ordered food for us a few times because I wouldn't have been able to shit living like that for a week.

He owned the house outright though he had a low-paid job because he'd purchased it with inheritance. He had odd priorities. No washing machine but Sky TV and every games console you can imagine. I got out of the shower one day and asked for a towel. He said I should have brought my own. I used one of his briefly until I realised it was either filthy or had been washed and dried very slowly - it stank of mildew. After that I dried myself on spare clothes I'd brought. Additionally the place had no heating. Oh and he wouldn't let me into the spare room.

My period came on while I was there and completely ruined his mattress. I felt bad until he ghosted me when I got home. Meanwhile I met my now husband! He caught wind of me seeing someone, presumably from stalking my twitter, and tried to ingratiate himself again. I led him up the garden path, with hub's knowledge, so that I could eventually tell him to fuck himself. Sometimes I check his twitter and he hasn't evolved at all. This was over a decade ago so he's in his late 30s.

He thought he was deep because he enjoyed films with Manic Pixie Dream Girls in. Lame. I know now he was only interested because I was unstable, big titted with red hair - things he fetishised.

Okay me again, sorry for the nearly triple post. But someone posted in thread 2 that they went out with someone who’s phone background was themselves playing hockey. My ex had herself as her background AND a framed picture of her in a bikini on her bedside table. If that’s not just ultimate Ick…

This is applicable to the dating in lockdown thread as well, but men who put on their profile “owner of 2 little people”, “owner of a superhero”, “have a mini me”

just say you have children!! Ffs.

Men who use the phrase ‘wife material’ or even ‘wifey material’

my fellas brother runs home from work in his work uniform. He is a bricklayer and wears those big work boots but still runs home in them… even if the job is like 45 mins away. I’ll have been sat there and he’ll come in in his bricklayer gear all sweaty and it’s given me the ick

I shagged some guy once and when we finished he got his phone out and text his mate a fist pump emoji. I said what are you doing and he says ‘whenever me and my friend shag someone we always send each other the 👊’ didn’t see him again 🤣

I had an ex who liked to cross-dress from time to time. I used to say I was okay with it but I wasn’t, he looked like a scary witch.

I once got an ick with a guy when I was about 19 and we were on our way for a little walk before going to get an Italian. He wore full on dress shoes for the walk 😂 bit stupid of us going for a walk first then straight to Italian tbf. But it was in the days of "my space" Internet page brfire Facebook or whatever and I'm sure I had listed my fave pizza toppings on there. 🙄 as you used to do

He turned to me and said I bet I can guess what your fave pizza is...and listed exact ingredients from my my space. But he wasn't being funny. He pretended that he did actually guess correctly. 🤢 when in fact he had just stalked my space.

A few years ago before I met my boyfriend now I went on a date with this other guy and we went to a pub, he ordered a bottle of rose for us to share.. and when he took the first sip of it he choked 🤣🤣 he was coughing and spluttering for about 5 minutes.. I was sat there like 😳 his hair was like slicked back and it was flying all around the place 😩 gave me the biggest ick ever. I’m sat here cringing about it now. Luckily he moved away so we didn’t see eachother again!! I don’t think I could have coped with another choking episode… thank god I’ve now found a man who actually has never given me the ick in all the 4 years I’ve been with him.

I’ve seen a crime against fashion on bumble. A cable knit flat cap!!!
The guy I'm seeing atm owns a flat cap and he keeps leaving it behind in bars and Ubers and it always makes its way back to him somehow. I absolutely hate it, it makes my throat and vag close up when I see it tucked under his arm 🤢🤢🤢

Once I was with this guy for a year and one morning he randomly jumped out of bed and started doing push-ups on my bedroom floor and said "this is my morning routine!".
I've never seen him do it before.
And I never saw him doing it again.
To this moment whenever I have a flashback of that moment I cringe so hard 🥴

I thought of one today- thinking about men taking a little lunchbox to take to work 🤣 I know I do it but there’s just something about a man packing one, taking it out and rummaging through it at work that gives me the ick. Worse if they pack those tiny boxes of raisins! God, I’m going to die single aren’t I?! 🤣

Met a bloke on Twitter during what I can only describe as a mental health crisis and period of mania. Travelled to the other end of the country by coach to stay with him for a week. First day there...Sunday dinner at his mum's place. I don't even know YOU yet, why would I want to meet your mum?

Also he insisted on wearing two condoms. I've got a low body count and never had an STI. Perhaps I gave off dirty vibes. Also, he had only one testicle because he'd had a twisted one removed. I don't care. Doesn't matter. But why tell me that when you're inside me?

Jesus if I ever end up single again, I'm not even going to attempt dating. I'll get a dog and a flat and mind me own business.

Men who use the term muggles for people.

My ex thought he was superior to everyone. Like he would love going on walks in the mountains but only if it was quiet. If there were too many people he'd say oh too many muggles about 🤢 I don't think he was particularly a Harry Potter fan.

I get anger-icks sometimes. Like it makes me want to burn their house down.
dated a bloke who legit used to jump out of bed in the morning and I woke up literally 2 minutes after him and he was like “wakey wakey lazy bones”. Fair play, I don’t think I had a natural reaction to being called lazy- but he legit was definition of ick.
(In summary,
1. He would say he fancied a “Bicky with his cuppa”
2. he would push dates earlier. “Can we meet at 5 instead of 6?” I would say “I’ll try and get there earlier but i don’t finish work till 5”. AND THEN he would moan about me being late. 😑)

I hope he found happiness. Truly, I really do. 🙃

I have this guy friend who I've known for like 11 years, and in all of that time, he can't keep a gf because he is a level 500 clinger.

Anyways, he's on the dating apps, yes, ALL OF THEM, 24/7. He texts me the other day " is it bad that I'm on tinder in the church lobby waiting to pick up my niece?". Why yes, yes it is. Desperation can be smelt miles off.

He and other guys I know will plaster their nieces and nephews all over social media and talk about how they're gonna have a "sleepover with uncle ____". ICKKKKK.

I also hate when guys say "lil". " Here I am with my lil buddy, my lil friend, my lil dog". We're talking men in their 30's, now.

I also get major ick when guys act like they need your help to learn about something, in trying to get a date. " Hmm... it'd be real cool if you could teach me about that, should we go some time?" " I don't know much about ____ maybe you can show me". Grow a pair and tell me what you like or don't like and don't act like you're so desperate that you'll pick up whatever hobby I'm into. Don't be a pushover.

One more thing: guys who can't spell, but in particular, guys that use plurals of things when it should be singular. I have an ex who always called a "woman"... "women". So anytime he talked about his mom or grandma, he'd be like " So thankful for this wonderful women who brought me into the world". Were they glued together when they gave birth to you because I JUST SEE ONE.
UGH it burns me up.

I'm still friends with his mom on Facebook too so every holiday I have be slowly driven to madness.
