I was at a gym class today and the guy next to me was clearly new. Instead of just kind of watching and going along with what everyone else was doing though he basically just bulldozed his way through, doing his own thing and invading my space and being just a general nuisance. Also huffing and puffing with his weights but they were only tiny ones because he picked up the wrong size

I said this once, but it was after I got stuck in a toilet on a boat and had to open the window and yell until someone heard me. Nobody could open the door (it was wedged hard in the frame, I wasn't in a place with many safety regulations) and in the end two huge men had to charge the door down.

My parents have bought his and hers Garmin watches recently and they go running every day. This is what I receive the family whatsapp chat these days, screenshots of squiggly lines for their routes, PBs etc. I don't run (can't run for a bus)

but there is always a middle aged whistling man whenever I'm in any supermarket. Shut up!!!!!!!
I was in a coffee shop one day a while back, and there was a man tunelessly whistling at a nearby table. The other people at the table kept trying to engage him in conversation, I imagine to stop the torture, but he would just answer briefly then start the awful whistling again. Very irritating.It's awful, ive complained about it here multiple times already

Can something simultaneously give you the ick and genuine nostalgia? As I've not seen this for a long time and thought it had died out but people who keep a cigarette behind their ear.
