The proportions looked out to me, but that may have been the model's figure with the camera angles, or the placement of the cut out.She could serve up sewn up shite and they would compliment it

Matt's husband looked stunning in that dress. I love he was the model and rocked it.
Interesting he's now doing west end theatre work now!
I'm watching it on catch up but oh my word, how tricky is it to make a kilt?! I'd have no idea where to start.
I thought that Clare deserved to win and has all the qualities I would want if God forbid, I needed a lung specialist. I also think that the clips of her mother went a long way to understanding her personality.
Clare went up in my estimation when I saw she was a lung consultant and I loved how proud her mum was of her but agreed, she seemed so cold and rigid throughout the show. I guess that's just her personality. I thought Clare and Nicole were fairly well pitted technically although I think Nicole had more disasters than Clare and she seemed (to me) the more consistantly strong sewer. Matt's dress was my favourite by a mile and and looked incredible on his boyfriend, I loved it.

I got something of a "I always said you were wasting your time with this sewing lark and 30s dressing when you should be out there being an even better doctor and finding a husband, but you've proved me wrong" vibe off the astonished mother, anyone else? 
I wish I looked as sharp and sophisticated as Patrick anyway.
I liked Esme's casual "yea I've been to Carnival actually. I sat on a windowsill at Notting Hill with David Bowie." just dropped in there. I knew she has had a distinguished career in fashion but just name dropping someone like Bowie takes it to another level. Girl's clearly been mixing with the right people in her younger days!

I just think her mother seemed quite cold and reminded me of my own mother in some respects, only perfect is good enough.
Matts final dress was awesome. Nicole has always been my favourite as she takes risk. Clare is boring. Technically a good seamstress but just boring
Ah that's interesting as to me her mother came across as very proud and loving, almost a bit ditzy.
Same! She seemed to think the sky was the limit with whatever Clare dedicated herself to and said at the end Clare didn't like her telling her she was beautiful and she loved her but she is. It just seems to be Clare's personality to keep emotions to herself, she always looked a little shocked when someone in the team hugged her. I guess it could be to do with being a doctor that's she's used to this too.
I really like Clare, she was the best sewer by far, but Matt's dress was my favourite in the final challenge (he'd had too much of a mare the day before to win though).

Oh really, Clare wasn’t my favourite at all but I actually teared up at the end when her mum said I want to tell her she’s beautiful and clever but she doesn’t let me. Thought it was really touching.
