I really don't want to comment on her video...I've just been TOO negative lately and I want to turn that around. Does she still bother me> Yes. But I'll try to dial it back a tad now.

As for her plans for the shower room...kind of an overkill on the bird theme but it's not that bad. We'll have to see what it looks like in the end. I wish she would elaborate on the downstairs loo and let us know what is going on and when we might expect it to be done.

My guess is that she will have ordered some more wallpaper for the downstairs loo so she can apply the pattern in the 1.2.3.4 formation she should have done, rather than the 1.2 1.2.1.2 3.4 3.4 formation that it has been left in now - and would be hugely noticeable to anyone actually using it. It was a bodge job that she rushed when there was no need - leaving one afternoon was ridiculous. Mummy will have told her to get replacement paper for the necessary strips and to re-do properly and nothing will be said. The loo will then be quickly finished off and we won't get to see it again.

I know that prices have gone up but that quote seems really excessive? How big is the loo?

Sympathy for Phillip is misplaced. He is an adult. I am continually frustrated by society's habit if infantizing adults - discussing them like they are children eg Harry and Meagan described as a young married couple despite being close to 40. Society infantizes adults voiding them of responsibility and accountability for their behaviour and actions. His mother introduced him to CD vlogs and encouraged him to go. She is probably thrilled for him.

RE Mary volunteer/guest. I read so many of her posts I am really suprised she has returned.

Finally imagine being Nic's Marie coming to your husband's holiday home not knowing who will be there, their background or ethics and you bring your son. Imagine being a guest not knowing who is cooking food, wandering the halls at night. I mean no bedrooms have locks.

I was over 50, and tougher, and smarter, than an old boot, with 47 lives behind me and real experience of high and low places and people in the world, when I walked into the buzz saw that was the narc partner of my relative. It ended when I stopped seeing them both, completely. She died soon after, as everyone noted, probably because she could find no other way out.
May I say, very, very gently, that if SJ is in fact a narcissist, no power on earth will protect PJ from being chewed up and spit out. It's bigger than me, and if I may say so, I suspect it is bigger than you too. I commend you on your good fortune in never having had to deal with this.

She had a long meeting with the Accountant where they went through each item. He will be coming back with a colleague to finish up next week. Natti gets credit for keeping up with all of the receipts.

It's great when children are given responsibility early -- I'm watching Montessori method videos and they have toddlers helping to cook and clean. They're delighted and feel as if they can solve any problem. I can see you out there with your little hoe, and believe this is the way real children are educated.
There is no farmer like an educated one, with managerial and real world experience. Thrilled to think the next generation is coming along, and to think of your changing a very well-managed place inherited from your hardworking father et al.
My lifelong experience with out gay people is that they tend not to be class conscious, and pretty welcoming to people of every kind. The netherlands are different with class than for instance the Uk.. My grandfather was very aware of class..because he never worked..he had his workers and in between him and the workers there was the agent..My father loved to work and to mingle with people..he also worked alongside the people..it was very strange..he talked with the workers like he did when he met the queen...Juliana was a bit like my father..down to earth but sometimes very aware of their class..he could be very nasty when other people tried to say to him what he should do..He was also in the resistence in the war...my grandfather and grandmother were not aware...My mother was from a different background...she was a breath of fresh air...the family was against the marriage but my father insisted. none of the family attended..So i guess i have the best of two worlds..i dont think i would have been different not being gay..i travelled a lott all around the world, worked at different places....so i knew there is more in life than the estate..it gave me a good insight and helped me to run the business..my father said i had to travel and work at other places before i took over...he was right..In the late eighties i was part of a charity..we set up a HIV cafe..where people with HIV and aids could meet..i never told my parents...they were horrified i would catch it too..i wasnt afraid..just like my father wasnt afraid in the war.. A chateau or an estate is no big deal..i sometimes have to laugh when friends of me say...hi i am .....and i live at....dont you know....its a castle....Its something people look upon..but they dont see the problems.. I dont see the point of all those people buying chateaux...filling it with things not really theirs...paintings they dont even know whos on them...trying to live the lives of people they dont are..and not wanting or being able to pay for it themselves..I also see the attraction it has on other people...the glamour...mostly to do with films and Downton Abbey...the parties etc..but in fact we dont have so many parties...we sometimes dress up..we dont have a huge staff anymore...we work hard ourselves , we dont vlog...the idea alone....and certainly dont beg and grift...maybe thats class.....

Morning All -Thank you for posting this Patreon Vlog. Hope those who donate to the cause are thrilled with it. I found it dull - all those clocks in that family, you would think they could keep good time. Or do all these clocks have different times, because the footage at the end of Trotter mumbling about vlog editing - is all about the backlog of Wedding footage. All that stuff in one family, they need to stop going to brocantes and bloody open one. See ya later!

My take away from MP's patreon video ... Ma Petrick has been in France about 11 years, and had a vacations home there for over 25 year .... and she needs Mo to negotiate the price of the royal family print ... she hasn't even learned enough French to do that?

I have a large box of Blue Willow in my basement I considered sending to MPK back when I held him in better esteem. (The cost of mailing it to France from the US stopped me. I mean I admired him, but not that much). I was also going to send SJ some elaborate Xmas stockings I made. They are very intricate with lots of beading and fancy trims. Pa-a-a-r-fect for a chateau! I'll take a pic of them when they come out, again. This is as close as I got to donating anything to the two grifters

I’ve considered sending both SJ and Teabag some smashed up Spode and calling it a puzzle.

Also would love to post the Pethericks a few French vehicle export applications. Wonder if you can apply for them to be posted out online like you can here.
