Seeing the screen shot of SJ and Ian, all I could think was that Steppys carpet doesn't match the drapes, like everything else in the Shatoo....Ian will need to be fitted for blinders.

First time commenter, lurker of about a month (though I first found you after MP's video several months ago where he talked about the Strawbridges and online bullies and read a bit back then)

I found SJ's last vlog super interesting. Dan was cool as a cucumber, but Natti and SJ seemed extremely nervous, like I felt like offering them a paper bag to breath into. And Dan kept his cool even with all their silly nerves hovering around. The man has cooked for more than 10 people at a time in a professional kitchen, which means he is used to timing and high stress .... cooking for 10 people out of his own kitchen is like easey peasey for him!

Dan took all the jabs thrown at him and made the barbs funny. He had some pretty good jabs going the other way too!
His comments on how SJ films up his nostrils and yet puts the camera up above her own head when shooting herself!!
His meh, response to Phillip's table setting, which got a strong reaction from SJ "oh, come on, it's beautiful"
Saying he was going to tell the guests that there were less berries for them because SJ had eaten them! "Someone has been eating my goose berries!"

The comments under the vlog were so so so positive about Dan, and 99% about Dan ... if there are jealousies there than this vlog has rubbed a lot of salt in wounds! But a the same time, I think if SJ would try to get rid of Dan now she would get a MAJOR negative reaction. He's much loved, not just by Isabelle, but her whole fan base.
I absolutely loved when they were talking about Mummy complaining about the spun sugar mess, You're not going to be her favourite any more said Stefanny. And Dan quipped Well she may like me less, but that's not going to make her love you more. OOOH you witch Dan. Well said.

Didn't Dan take long time to serve in between courses? ... Shouldn't the courses be served as soon as they have finished eating previous course.. Ofcourse Stephanie constantly undermining Dan and chattering away irritating him must have slowed him down.

And shouldn't Stephanie be at the dining table.. Hosting her guests...the whole reason those guests are at the table is to interact with Stephanie
Nope. Any good chef allows for rest in-between courses. It's not a roman banquet where they puke in-between.
Although Steph was worried about puking...she does have a Caligula's mother vibe going on.🤮

True confession: I too had a girl crush on SJ, thought she was worldly, cultured and I may have shed a tear hearing about her dad- at first. Tonight SJ you made over 30 negative comments to Dan. I know you kid but it was uncomfortable! Snorty not only spends your money but now makes rude comments about you, your volunteer/friends, employees and has attracted your mother on numerous occasions. It is one thing we have to endure his looks, clothes, and unpleasant personality but the truth is the show is better when he is not in front or behind the camera.
This would be a great title for the next thread!
Yes, you've hit the nail on the head. Knew she reminded me of someone. 🤣🤣 Hyacinth's relatives were constantly embarrassed by her, as well as being terrified. For people not familiar with the character, she was the lead of a British TV show, called "Keeping up Appearances" She was an insufferable snob from a working class family, married to a middle class man, and she was always trying to appear grander than she was. She used to pronounce everything in an exaggerated way. She pronounced her own name as "Bouquet"
Neighbours used to hide from her., her poor husband used to try and avoid her.
Oh I know that type well. My Mother In Law was one. They can't help commenting on everything, and are totally oblivious to irony. My MiL would say things like 'oh that skirt is very you, even though you've put on weight'. Which was laughable, as she was 24 stone. She was truly awful. But the weirdest thing was that no-one corrected her on a day to day basis. She got away with murder because she was a bully and everyone in here family, wanted to (were conditioned), to keep her happy. Awful, truly dreadful. A real 'ogre' I had the displeasure of putting up with.

just subjected myself to watch that bizarre performance piece

did the fact that Philred continued to film this with out even a “hey love the cat is out maybe you should change clothes before we continue“ seem odd?

that was soft core porn

this whole relationship is getting more and more passive aggressive and weirder and weirder

We only have the naked dating show on Channel 4. The TV version of Grindr for all tastes.
Oh no, I think you have a slightly wrong idea of Grindr. There's no public nudity on the app and you get to talk to people before deciding to meet them. Naked Attraction is so much worse than Grindr

So sorry to hear that! I am sure we had the same Mil. Hope your husband defended you. In my case it took mine almost a decade to see the bullying the nasty comments. He had been oblivious to the behaviour thought I was imagining things. Once he saw game changer.

as Steffi being 12 in her head, she does something similar with Dan *he is not a "daddy" he is boy from neighbor's barn), he is the forbiden fruit daddy told her about, he is older and has a girlfriend (read - wife with 2 kids), she would love to do things with him, she loves when he gives her attention, it means that he loves her more than his girlfriend, that she is special as she is special to daddy
oh yes...i think you hit the nail on the head....she has daddyissues....no doubt about that....

If, as Clara suggests, SJ deliberately blocked Dan's shot of him plating his meal, I'd say true sabotage and harassment, in the context of @Patriciarella's 30 negative comments, has taken place. As I say, this has been against the law in France since 2002.
:cautious: -- see the gardener's tea room, with fuel, food, possible poison garden chemicals, and hot plate within feet of each other as serious health and safety violations. Not to mention no toilet or hand washing facility for employees regularly handling toxic material.

Birds do it. Bees do it. Even educated fleas do it.
Me and my French law degree --
Hati is that you ??????????

Ian is her daddy (type) the closest in age is BJJ (in his head he is maybe 16) sorry I forgot 14 yr old aspi boy but she is not into him just into his toys
snort is a kind of friend she clearly never had as a child...growing up in a nursinghome....at bit a replacement for Gerry who cared for her when he was 16...and she was a child..In a way she is a very disturbed woman...we all see this but the penny hasnt dropped yet with her followers...

Yes it took years for my Husband to realise what an ogre she was, he was that conditioned to her bad behaviour. She basically hated all females, gave them all hard time. Loved the men though, she would have defended Peter Sutcliffe to the hilt. In the end it was a case of she could only come round for dinner, family celebrations etc, if he kept her in check. Either that or I threatened to kick her awful ass out of our house. She complied in the end, but hated me even more and couldn't say anything. Ce'st la vie, she missed out on a good Daughter In Law the stupid women  and died a lonely, anti-social lady despite all our attempts to help. Definitely mental health issues, but what, I can't even attempt to guess. Sorry you experienced the same thing❤

No, no, that was My MiL! we were engaged for 6 months before she was willing to meet me as she had already lined up a Farmer's daughter for hubby. (Her mother was the President of the WI). I was introduced to a family friend as hubby's friend from Cardiff 2 days before the wedding. Imagine the expression on the friend's face when she arrived at the Church and recognised me!

Just smacks of where I used to work at one time. Scratch the surface and the horrors await you. They think it's Shabby Chic. Shabby yes, chic don't make me laugh.
Seen it alot. We look after pets and houses from time to time in UK and Europe. You would not believe how dirty some people are. It all looks ok on first glance then...................... We always go prepared with anti bac wipes and rubber gloves before doing anything in the kitchens or bathrooms ;)
