I had Moderna as well, for me it was the opposite. First, just a sore arm, second dose I was out for 36 hours. Fatigue and really bad headache and a lump on my arm. But after the 36 hours, I felt great. Just glad to have it done, I haven't seen my oldest son in over a year. Finally going to get to see him next month.
We've all had AZ here and no issues. It's the same as the flu jab, some react with covid symptoms, some don't. No blood clots in this area (and I know a lot of nurses and paramedics, also know a couple of people on the team who developed the vaccine)
Enjoy time with your son 🤗

I saw the Patreon video of SJ giving Potty a tour while Snorts snorted. In the attic, Potty talked about making it his photography studio now that it's getting cleaned up...

Then next, to Nati apartment with kitchen and for some reason 3 doors and an adjustment of full length windows (total waste of €)...and maybe 6000€ for heating?

When is it Restoration and when is it Renovation. I thought the Patreon money was for the non profit which only allows RESTORATION of the shatoo. But making a studio for Potty, or an apartment for a "staff" member and also talks of a shop one day to resell stuff they buy? How is any of that Restoration? Plus, isn't it nice to be Potty or Nic and see everything being fixed and added without having to pay a penny towards it?

When Philip finally gets his marching orders what do you think he will put on his CV regarding his time at the Chateau.
I think it could be along these lines

Star of Globally acclaimed Reality show The Chateau Diaries.

@Heathcliffe both Oliver Strong and his business partner went to Durham University 😁

But it said that Ollie did his first degree at Oxford so presumably he met SJ & Nic there. He did a Master's at Durham.

How is any of that Restoration?
She doesn't know the first thing about restoration, nothing has really been restored, It's all renovation and reproduction, plus mish-mash. She isn't capable of anything else and not one of those idiotic patrons can see through her to how their money is actually being used. If they had sense at all and knew anything about real restoration, they would find a more appropriate and deserving cause to throw their cash at.

For the life of me, I can't understand how she justifies her non-profit status. There can be a fine line between an association and a commercial activity but if she profits personally in any way (as she clearly does) it's commercial.

We shall see when the tax authorities bite her head off and she cries "I can't believe it!" and gangsta grannies get all mad for French socialists and send even more money
It might be more complicated than a "non-profit" association.

Arthur found that she has now a "Société Chateau de Lalande" for "films and television production". Stephanie Jarvis is the president.
Who knows in which of these structures the Patreons money is really spent ?

and also talks of a shop one day to resell stuff they buy
Just imagine how exciting that shop could be: off-cuts of expensive de Gournay wallpaper and historic paneling; BG's printed cushions; slivers of Fortuny fabric; second hand vintage clothes; prints of Daddy's used condom, etc.; wilting plants from the greenhouse; postcards of Tor, Diesel and Ruby, and of Madame in low cut Regency costumes; hand knitted sweaters from around the world; crocheted tea cosies and toy hedgehogs; Morrison's candles from the chapel; gardening gloves and sunhats; chocolate bars, reduced because the wrapping has been nibbled; garden gnomes; planks of rotting wood with possible historic designs on them; Christmas baubles with SJ's pasty face on them; shards of broken, but genuine, Spode; tired floral bouquets and wreaths; papier mache chicken heads for disguising oneself, plus home made falafels and chocolate brownies from the Chateau's own kitchen. They will make a fortune as the fans pass through the gift shop before they leave! The income should be sufficient to cover the "restoration" for the next 16 years, no need to exhaust herself making any more vlogs!

The problem with having too much land aroud your sjitoo, like Selmar says it... is that it costs a lot of money, and it doesnt generate..the neighbour will keep it taken care for, by his animals, and making hay, but they mostly dont want to pay for it..and the taxes in France on land are huge...

Don’t agree! If I had to watch that guy doing his splits just one...more...time... couldn’t stand that dude
I sympathise, I am not a fan either but he can clean and organise.
It would be good fun though as he upstages Philip. 🤣

I have never heard of a thyroid condition causing learning disabilities in a child. I was a teacher for over 15 years and this never came up. Where does she get her misinformation from? You're born with most learning disabilities, either happens in the womb or it's hereditary. I rather fear for Marie's future. I think once she's away from La la land, she's going to get conned out of what little she has. She's very naive, has no boundaries about sharing her personal life, and basically wears a big sign that says "Victim waiting to be victimized."
On the contrary, there are plenty of scholarly articles referring to cognitive impairment in subclinical (no recognisable clinical findings) thyroid disease in children. Symptoms include:

What are the symptoms of hypothyroidism in a child?
The signs in children are different from those in adults. The most common sign in children is slowed or delayed growth. This may occur years before other signs occur. Other signs can occur a bit differently in each child and can vary by age.
Signs in younger children (juvenile hypothyroidism) can include:
  • Slow growth that may cause short limbs
  • Delayed tooth development
  • Impaired school performance
  • Lack of energy
  • Inactivity
  • Slow bowel movements (constipation)
  • Dry skin
  • Feeling cold
Signs in older children and teens (adolescent hypothyroidism) can include:
  • Slow growth
  • Delayed puberty
  • Hoarse voice
  • Slow speech
  • Droopy eyelids
  • Puffy and swollen face
  • Brittle hair, hair loss
  • Dry skin
  • Slow pulse
  • Weight gain
  • Impaired school performance
  • Lack of energy
  • Inactivity
  • Slow bowel movements (constipation)

Also very common in Down's syndrome. My cousin's child has Down's syndrome and also has thyroid problems. He is 24 now and a lovelable chap, a total blessing in all of our lives.

There will soon be a wind farm just south of the château and because the estate's been broken up there's a neighbor problem - the ideal buy for a plonker like him. 🤣

It sounds painful. I'd rather just have it in my arm.

There is a very interesting documentary called Ratropolis if I remember correctly. We were forced to watch in our Sociology class. Definitely not my favourite subject. This film examined their society which is highly developed and how intelligent they are. It focused on NYC. I have not gone into a washroom since without carefully lifting the lid nor looking for holes behind the flush. Gives me nightmares.

I appreciate that you are concerned about the animals but why don't you complain yourself? As you keep saying the 'SPA will keep your name anonymous'.
Why don't you?
I'm many thousands of miles away, don't speak French, and the French authorities will wish to follow up.

I completely agree with you. Almost everyone I know has had the AZ vaccine and I do not know of anyone who has developed serious complications. A couple of colleagues complained of a sore arm and /or flu like symptoms. for 24 hrs. I didn't have any side effects at all, neither did my 90 yr old mum or anyone in my family. One or two colleagues, friends etc have had the Pfeizer as they are under 30. The excess risks above what might normally be expected in the various age groups for AZ are very small.

Why don't you?
I'm many thousands of miles away, don't speak French, and the French authorities will wish to follow up.
So only a small number of Tattlers who are resident in France would be able to be able to report and many of those will live a long distance away. from Lalande.

The other (big) problem with this shiteau (sic) : it's located approx 3 or 4 km away from a huge and always very busy motorway (Paris-Brittany L'Armoricaine) which is between this chateau and the village (to go to the village for your bread, you need to drive under the motorway).

And another problem is : A permit has been issued for the construction of a 4 windmills park in the next village at approx 17 km away from this village (April 2021).

Selmar... : think, think !

The South project has been cancelled. BUT another windmills park has been approved (April 2021) in the North of the chateau (17 Km approx).😅
