This has been said before but Shreks greasy hair makes me want to 🤮 I couldn’t stand being near him and Sarah I’m not sure what look you were going for with your hair but you're not maid Marion and pick a colour and stick with it. Out of everything that wasn’t great with the look, the hair was the worst.
I do like Steve or Shrek, shoot me down but he just seems so decent..

I just finished watching....that's a VERY good, quick snapshot you did there! I have nothing to add, except this.

I might have cried when they were actually getting married in the mayor's office. Actually, I might have started crying when they, along with all their friends, were walking into the mayor's office.

I really don't know what got into me, but yes, I cried at the Shrek's wedding.

It was very nice how the mayor thanked them for buying their château and bringing it back to life and it was sweet that all their friends were there. That’s something we always say about Fanny that she doesn’t participate in her neighborhood.

I have friends like that too, one in particular knows I've been going through something tough and upsetting atm... she's called me twice to talk about her holidays, her housework, her stuff for sale, her M-I-L... hasn't mentioned my situation whatsoever, just uses me as a sounding board.. I want to just hang up, she wouldn't know I had for 5 minutes! When she's done unloading she'll say, "I have to go my friend, I am busy here today.." o_O
Good to know we aren't the only ones with 'friends' like this. Had lunch with 2 friends last week. Thought good I might get a few words in as it won't be one on one. No I still didn't get a chance to say much🤷‍♀️🙄
Reminds us not to be like that to others...thats the only good thing that comes to mind about people like this!

I don't think they had much time for extras, it seems it was only about 3 weeks from when they told us to the day... and she sewed her outfits.. They don't splash the cash either so they m not allowed to socialise ay not have money for all that.. I know my wedding was a bouquet for me and boutonnieres for the groom and best man.. Did all my own catering and the reception was in our new house. My son works with a guy who's getting married, one child and another on the way and they're spending $40K+ on a wedding! Doesn't make sense to me.
Our son and his fiancé decided to go ahead with their wedding in 2020 and were married during Covid. It was only his dad and I, his sister and BiL and 3 nieces present. DiL's parents sister and brother were not allowed to travel from Scotland and they and other family members and friends watched via video link, all dressed in their wedding finery. I made her a bouquet with paper flowers, buttons and a scrap of lace from my sewing stash. In fact, restrictions were only lifted that week to allow us to travel 20 mins into the next county for the wedding. We were not allowed to socialise afterwards. I made her a bouquet using scrapbook paper, an old book, buttons and a scrap of lace from my sewing stash. They are happily married with a 2 yr little boy now and a baby sister due in 5 weeks.

Re rush of the wedding- Steve and Sarah have 11 workshops this year - next in June 20. This may have been their only time available, especially with parents travelling. No mention of Sara’s sister being there and she lives in Europe.
Re catering/hosting- I don’t think they know how. Some people are not good at putting on a spread.
