Apparently, they have an entire team of folks who work exclusively with chateau owners.

As it relates to why an English and not French company would be used in a French chateau, above and beyond F&B being considered the standard in the A&D community here in the US, their major strength is that they do catalog design as it pertains to the renovation of historic homes. There are on-site F&B representatives in Colonial Williamsburg and, at one time they were also on-site at Winterthur, Nemours and The Hagley Museum, all in Delaware (they may still be on-site at these other places, I'm just not 100% sure anymore). Using F&B could help prevent the hodgepodge of terrible design that is at la Lande for a truly historically important building (if one is interested in maintaining historical accuracy).Thanks for the reminder. As it turned out neither party was bothered by the other and the fox eventually moved on. I did wonder if she would come back this spring to repeat the process. I haven't seen her but there was evidence the other morning of a kill, wood pigeon feathers everywhere.
It is highly unlikely, if it was a daytime attack, that it was a fox. They are just not active in daylight hours. My money is on the Prague ratter. Yet another income stream for Anna & Philip (Anna used 'Little Greene' paint company).When Anna was talking about her wallpaper design for the dressing room, she mentioned having the paper professionally printed in England and perhaps exploring going into production of her designs for sale. Which is a natural progression and I’m sure it would be very successful.
My initial thought was why on earth she’d chose to take her design to an English company, as France isn’t exactly bereft of companies which produce exclusive wallpaper! Remembering that the Fleiries have used Farrow & Ball paint through the house (possibly a collab?), I wondered if there were ideas in the pipeline for Anna to work with F&B on wallpaper design. A quick visit to the F&B website and I discovered that they will be launching the Purnon collection! Based on wallpaper fragments discovered at Ch. Purnon.
