Thanks for the reminder. I’d forgotten that it was F&B, even though I posted about it at the time! My grey cells need recharging!!

Stephanie, watch out for Lancelot with fox, they will go after small dogs. Hawks, as well, will too. I had a hawk swoop to go after my chihuahua… I interrupted the hunt though. Please be careful

My grey cells need recharging, too, as I didn't really complete the thought in my head when I posted! As it relates to why an English and not French company would be used in a French chateau, above and beyond F&B being considered the standard in the A&D community here in the US, their major strength is that they do catalog design as it pertains to the renovation of historic homes. There are on-site F&B representatives in Colonial Williamsburg and, at one time they were also on-site at Winterthur, Nemours and The Hagley Museum, all in Delaware (they may still be on-site at these other places, I'm just not 100% sure anymore). Using F&B could help prevent the hodgepodge of terrible design that is at la Lande for a truly historically important building (if one is interested in maintaining historical accuracy).

Why even have chickens? Eggs are fresh & cheap to buy in. When you consider to cost of feed, the huge mess to clean up often - ickey mess (with bird flu risks) that chickens make in the chicken house, well is it worth the bother? The foxes are now way too bold, letting themselves be seen in the daytime. So the chickens will not be safe wandering about the walled garden any longer. One swift ambushed pounce & the foxes hanging about will have your precious Lancelot for lunch faster than you or Phillip can react to! The chickens are an attractant & I would not want them having to live cooped up all day & the added risk to Lancelot if it were my decision.

I bet this fine specimen thinks meat just magically grows pre-packaged and ready to cook. They would probably drop from shock and horror on witnessing a processing plant. If they’re in the USA the way eggs are processed should terrify them. It creates the opportunity for all kinds of bacterial exposure because the shells are no longer impervious. That’s why American eggs require refrigeration to prevent spoilage.

If true, can you imagine the state of a carpet in a year of being laid in the Shitoo mould, damp, Lancelot & pee, mouse and god knows what else never to be cleaned properly, ever

Amaury was building a new long wall with insulation. He wants insulation on the floor. Stephanie wants wall to wall carpet also.

Only Fanny would be deluded enough to think about a fitted carpet in that dump

True, Manless Dan hijacked her channel and her Patreon for his own benefit. He’s the type to sell his children to the mill owner in a Dickens cautionary tale.

Snorty is completely mental. Unfortunately his book fetish has taken an even more disturbing turn lately. Not only must he pile personally select and curate book-tableaux everywhere he can (shelves, mantels, chairs, side tables, under lamps, guestrooms, hallways, corners, kitchen, attic, cargo containers, etc.), he now opens them to force everyone to look at something he wants them to see and appreciate.

I can understand why his parents sent him away to live with his grandparents.

Fanny has forgotten her previous lie. I do not recall which vlog or to who she was conversing but she said something vague like ‘the chickens …chicken Fanny, are on the other side . Fanny said this when in the walled garden. I kept looking to see if they were by the bread oven room but no. Long dead.

Annalise must be paying ahead for her next stay in the family flat that Snorts has just been introduced too…

Those burgundy charger plates match absolutely nothing... not even anything in the room.... What a tasteless buffoon.

omg, that's a horrible way to treat an old book. Almost as bad as dumping it in a shipping container..

Yet another income stream for Anna & Philip (Anna used 'Little Greene' paint company).

She'll have to buy all new juice jugs and picnic containers... Fanny took hers to the junk shop. Be funny if Annalise went and bought them all back

How is it possible two human beings, however brainless and pathologically lazy, can spend hours making Grant change the bedsteads in the Chambre de l'herbe, which already looks like shit? I wanted to scream. And chose the chambre Perse peacock fabric ones and think they go well? And plan another purchase of tragic French granny tat furniture, as Philip's accent grows more and more imposter pretentious? How could you not know twin beds would look better in there in the first place, instead of that awful brown stuff they're now sending to sweat to death in the containers?
She's also pretending she doesn't know pine martens kill many chickens at once. Are they pretending to see the fox? Do foxes kill many chickens at once without taken one away to eat? I doubt it.
