No one seemed happy at Lalande this past year.
Patty Martens was also at Lalande the same time Wendy mouse house Grimwood was there.
Let's not forget Celeste R, although she was not a volunteer, I am sure, she was treated as one. She has been given the cold shoulder treatment by BJJ and referred out to Nutti.

Oh what happened to my 2 parcels Nati ? you said you had received them..... hopefully you opened them.

...and then there is Patty... She has changed her YT account name several times since her unhappy visit.

Unhappy Lalande volunteer mystery solved.

Patty Martens arrived at Lalande 9/27 and stayed until 10/5. Friday 10/1 was a rough day for Patty, Why??? She is not the first guest/volunteer to have a hard time. I am not a fan of Selmar, but it was very kind of him and Tatty to make her a flower arrangement. Someone will eventually spill the tea.

9/13 Monday's gift grab live chat...

MsPmartens Hello @Cat T - I'll be at Lalande next week and hope to meet you. That is if I can find it - I'll be driving
MsPmartens @Celeste R - maybe our paths will cross. I leave Oct 5.

9/28 Tuesday's CD live chat...
Patty Martens hi @jetje goes Dutch I'm watching from Lalande.
Neil Hartley @Patty Martens glad you made it there safely
Patty Martens thanks Neil.
Patty Martens it was an epic journey to get here.

Comments from Selmar's and Tatty's latest flog.

Selmar and Tatiana, your gift of flowers was so beautiful it made me cry tears of joy after having such a rough day on Friday. The two of you made my stay at Lalande really special. You are both so kind, interesting, giving, and creative. It was an honor to meet you and dine with you. And the tango lesson was the best. I wish you both all good things. You taught me so much about gratitude and positivity. I know you will attract love and goodness because that is what you give to others.

Fast forward, yesterday's CD's day 18 comments...
Patty now goes by, MsPatricia. Looks like SJ was too busy... mystery solved.

Thank you for featuring a female artist (Jenny De Vasson) in your vlog today...not sure you remember me from my visit to Lalande, but I collect and support the work of female artists. Just had 6 female artists at my home tonight for my figgy pudding party and all agreed that women artists are still only acknowledged and recognized at a ratio of about 1 to 10 compared to male artists. We must help to elevate them to their deserved status. Thanks, Stephanie. I loved visiting La Chartre and loved tagging along with your excursion today. Happy Solstice.

Dear Patricia, of course I remember you! You were in the Tack Room apartment and I’ll never forget your appearance in the night after your adventure on the local roads! I was blown away by Jenny de Vasson’s photography. It was surprisingly vibrant and modern

Thanks for the warm welcome, OhIDon'tKnow. I definitely got to pull the curtain back and see the real chateau Oz. Stephanie did a bizarre post titled Living the Downton Abby Life (or something like that), glamourizing the whole servant and master thing. It was prescient. I was there for over a week and a few "volunteers" worked tirelessly for no pay (while one just lingered around the fringes doing nothing). The washing machine broke down and someone had to take all the laundry into town while a skeleton staff of 3 had to clean and prepare every room for an upcoming full house weekend (12 guests); they also did all the shopping, cooked all the meals, served them, and cleaned up afterward. SD and T and SJ and Philly were off on mini vaca for several days but returned on Friday, showed up at dinner to grace us with their presence, and basically dialed it in. They seemed disinterested, aloof, and burned out on the guests who had traveled during a pandemic to middle-of-nowhere France at great expense to meet them. I actually found Tatianna to be refreshingly authentic and interesting; she was one of the only ones besides Josie who recognized how messed up the whole operation is - and she was definitely treated as an outsider. SJ and snorty were "flouncing" about avoiding people as much as possible, except those who had given them copious amounts of presents, had social capital or big money; they gushed over them for a few minutes before disappearing again. The food was delicious thanks to Josie and the table settings were nice, so mealtime was lovely - but you can get a lovelier meal almost anywhere in France - it's not the reason you make CLL your destination. SJ sells it hard on her vlog as a welcoming place to interact with her and her posse and experience a glimpse into chateau life. It's not. I rented an apartment and it was clean thanks to the slave laborers. There were no window coverings and the bathroom door didn't close so I could see right into the parking area while sitting on the throne. And there was no heat in the late autumn. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that I did not pass the "Natti test" and I was treated like an interloper and an inconvenience. She wouldn't even let me enter the chateau for the first two days and forbade Josie from taking a walk with me because of all the work she was required to do. For 3 nights and 4 days, I was the only one in that huge building with 3 volunteers, one of whom told me they couldn't be bothered with the guests and another who ran away from me at a full sprint when approached. I was totally isolated. I also got in a car accident while I was there (the other driver's fault - no injuries but my car was totaled) and NO ONE at CLL helped me deal with the aftermath except Amaury - in his "spare time". Can you imagine? It was a nightmare. And I was not the only unhappy customer. Several people encountered complications or problems and no one at CLL offered to help. The whole experience was a joke. The only saving grace was the beautiful countryside and villages in the area. I spent most of my time exploring the region's art galleries, shops, museums, restaurants, and walking paths, and I dreaded going back there each day. Luckily CLL was not my only destination. I could fill this forum with all the problems I encountered there- and I never complained - I just bided my time and got the hell out. Most of all I want to get the message to others: Just don't go. And stop supporting her on Patreon and YouTube. Everything I've read in this forum is true. I wish I had found it before my travels.

Aren’t those the chairs the gay fiancé bought at the same auction as the green dining chairs? I thought they were for his “study” which we all know is his bedroom.

I was EXPLOITED!

July 29, 2016:

Tons of great reviews should mean it’s safe, right? WRONG! I was told I could paint and decorate before I arrived. On the way “yea, just tell us what you want to do”. But, no. I had to do the laundry for 17 turning BnB bedrooms and cleaning each room/en suite bathroom. Plus, all the breakfast/lunch dishes for 15-30 ppl. They kept promising me “oh after tomorrow” etc. You’re supposed to work 4-5 hrs/day with 2 days off/wk. But, I was always pushed to do more by her lieutenant mother. “The bedding on the line is dry” at 7pm, after working since 10am. I didn’t get any days off either. Yet, three British guy helpers could paint the barn from 9-12 and then go frolicking during afternoons, even using the host’s car.

Despite the host’s daily trips to town, it took a week to get a card when my great uncle died. Looking back, idk how I even managed to stay the whole two weeks. Maybe it was the false promises of decorating/painting another day. Maybe it was the vivacious and entertaining host who threw costume dinner parties, karaoke nights, and once or twice took some of us on mini excursions to a winery and festival.

I wanted to leave soon after I arrived, but I felt a responsibility to my word. I was naive. They had a helper come to cook for everyone, but she was nasty. It didn’t matter, they needed her because they were short staffed. I wish I had left early. That was when I learned to look out for myself. I’m embarrassed by the amount of hours they made me work. I was exploited. It’s humiliating.

This host now has a massive following from being on a television show, and I’m sure, totally unaware of being exploitive because as she said “why complain if people are willing to come work for free”. They claim they don’t have the funds to run the chateau, but she also can travel to 5 star hotels, own plethoras of designer clothes and shoes, all while still owning a flat in London! #priorites

This could have ended terribly.

Thank you v much for posting that. As an extra to that info, here’s the Association’s website. Home page announcing the grand opening on 20th April. There are some other details about the Crozon sur Vauvre community activities/fundraising. Forget Steff’s “excitement” about the electric scooters - electric bikes are available to hire during the summer. Not a new thing, either: they’ve been doing it since 2022!

It’s so tiresome when SJ pretends to be ultra enthused about something - in this case, the local community - which is clearly of absolutely no interest whatsoever.

George is a dealer all right!!!! Remember this ugly furniture, he was able to unload on Stephanie Jarvis.

OK forgot all about that. The furniture moves around so much in the chateau it’s hard to keep track.

Toronto, understandable. The game of musical chairs is just as crazy as the time-machine ride we're all on.

I believe these are the chairs you are referring to. Although intended for Snorty's bedroom office salon, they made their most recent appearance in the billiards room winter salon library. One can be seen in the background of the scene featuring guest Kennedy (aka Dirty Sox Girl) with her feet up on a chair.

Figure this out:

Last weekend she got sick after being at Dan’s on Saturday and auction with John on Sunday. If the people dining yesterday were last weekend’s guests, how did she also fit in that visit to the Brocante and new pub/cafe?

Here's the Facebook post about the opening of A La Bonne Vauvre from 6 days ago. Not one photo of the world famous Chatelaine's presence at the event. I think that says a lot of how much the locals really feel about her. (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61557176341275)

See below supporting liar's message on YouTube posted 5 days ago that Jarvis was too sick to edit.

I think we can all agree at this point the vlogs are just a mishmash of snippets (borrowing the term from Marie) from whenever and wherever cobbled together to produce a 15-20 minute vlog. Personally, I have completely given up on the timeline being linear, it's more like a web woven by a spider on LSD. It certainly doesn't take Fanny four hours to put one together, more like forty minutes. I'm waiting for the day when she really messes up and duplicates scenes or adds scenes from years past, perhaps she already has. It's like she just puts all her videos in a Bingo cage, turns the handle, and pulls out a random collection of scenes. Once she fills up her Bingo card, she's done with the daily vlog.

Tantrums at the chateau.

Thank you for the new thread. What a vlog to start the week!
Al the other local inhabitants, including the major, wear sensible, practical clothing and then there's Lady Bountiful (not!), dressed up and covered in make up. She really does think she's the Lady of the Manor, visiting her poor subjects. She has, of course, to mention the contribution made from the gift grab from which she personally benefited from gifts worth thousands and thousands. I don't suppose she has ever contributed one cent of her own money to any local causes. Fancy going to such an event without any cash. They could supply that brocante with masses of stuff if they wanted to get rid of all their trash but instead, they will just buy more stuff from it.
He wasn't "handed over", he was just let loose to do whatever he fancied!

If his nails get much longer, he won't be able to walk. He'll end up looking like a poor abandoned pet left to roam around alone.

Hello everyone!
Philip and I have edited this week’s Patreon video, which is the Q&A of the questions you wrote for us, including what we’re planning for our wedding and what was our first kiss!
We’re about to start the upload but it’s a long video and we think it’ll take two or three hours. I wanted to let you know in case any of you were worried about the time.
A bientot!
Stephanie x

Don't know why because I haven't seen anything but a 30 sec preview for the past year, but today I could watch the entire patreon video on an app. When it's uploaded gird your loins & take a stiff drink before watching. Also, have something on hand to settle your quessy tummy when Fanny talks about her purpose in life & their first kiss.

It's all personal crap, hard-selling Snorty as the paaaaaarfect man and their fake engagement. Just more evidence that the fake engagement is being staged because there's nothing else to film. Not a single question about the shitoo, work on the shitoo or status updates.

Wedding
  • They ARE getting married, but after Natti & Amuary. There will be no joint nuptuals.
  • There will be a blessing in the chapel
  • They have not set a date - Fanny is in no hurry (NO SHIT)
  • Snorty wants an intimate autumnal wedding for 20 guests (he has no friends), but Fanny wants to invite eveyone she's ever met to an OTT summer affair. (For Snorty the wedding depends on the size of the dinner service, so if he starts compiling a 100 piece dinner service we'll know how large the wedding will be).
  • Snorty has known what he wants his wedding outfit to look like since we was a child (ofcourse he did)
  • Fanny wants 3 outfits - 1 for the registry, 1 for the blessing & 1 for the paaaaaaarty
Travel
  • Snorty likes small weekend getaways and prefers to stay home while Fanny enjoys grand excursions, BUT,
Ring
  • Fanny wants them to travel to India to look for a stone for the wedding ring - ideally a pink sapphire or maybe a yellow citrine (which Tattler guessed a trip to India or nuptuals in India????)
Languages
  • Fanny thinks Snorty is a language savant because he can speak Dutch, Lindberg, English, German and French. Yes Fanny, Snorty's a mimic - he mimic'd & love-bombed you, you desperate cow!
Daddy
  • Was invited to apply to Disney (the porn channel) as an animator, but didn't want to compromise his own art
Snorty
  • Fanny lists all his fake allergies (too long to write down here)
  • Had nightmares as a child but his grandfather helped him to get over them (Snorty was aninsipid little boy who grew up to be an insipid little boy)

It was posted. For some reason I could watch but I can't upload (Natti's such a great administrator that although I cancelled my patreon I'm still on the mailing list and usually just get 30 sec snippets of any patreon videos)
