We’re a disaster in vaccines - government is taking care of those in the know - Northern Ireland has 1.3 million ppls - 70% done first round
Southern Ireland 4.4 million - 600 k first round ..... ridiculous

Seems we have had 2 many gaffs and now ppl are not taking level 5 seriously - had mum at 2nd jab this morning and by the amount of ppl out - seems it’s gloves off

You qualify as carer for your mother, so you will be able to get one under that banner. That's how my OH is getting his.

Is there a carers charity where you live? That's how he got his appointment, by phoning them, put onto it by his friend whose mother is in and out of hospital at the moment.

the mother in-law is 83, strong, active and absolutely fine but has diabetes (no thyroid) and impaired lungs due to inhalation of chemicals in labs in the 60's / 70's

Yes agree .. I’m not a paid carer -
I work .
However she lives with me full time

am supported by a seriously great company and only take meetings in person - in the open !!!
Otherwise zoom is it for me .

You do not need to be paid carer to qualify just ask your GP to code your records that you are a none paid carer x

Sorry to poke my nose in but I worked on the vaccination project, carers have to be registered with their GP as a non paid carer to qualify for a vaccination.

It must depend where you live. Here (and has been since last year) if you are the main and only lifeline for an elderly vulnerable person you are a carer without having to register with the GP. You can get tests as frequently as needed, if you wish, and now vaccination due to supplies. It's being given out at the cancer specialist hospital.
I should imagine that this supply is available for the under 50's because of the % of other people who are not interested in having it.

Some colleagues (some still in their 20s) have been given vaccine if they support a pupil with medical needs / learning difficulties. This is in addition to the child's parent/guardian. The rollout groups for Ireland sound similar to the UK - I would have thought that living in the same house and caring for an elderly parent would have prioritised you, @MojoDublin.

With nothing better to do with my lunch-break, I went and had a look at the sheep/dog. Here's what I found...

@25:16 a (what sounds like a large) dog begins to bark
@25:45 the barking gets closer
@25:56 the sheep/dog enters gate-right, appears to stop and urinate, wanders around sniffing occasionally, and exits gate-left
@26:22 a person walks out of a doorway in the background farm building and towards the white van
@26:35 the sheep/dog re-enters gate-right and walks inside
@26:44 the white van drives away... possibly coming to retrieve the wandering sheep/dog?

And what was this big car they had at the Antique shop ?
