How things have changed. In this patreon vlog she also informs us that Nick is treating her to the orient express trip on his and Marie’s wedding anniversary . Odd .

I knew she'd mentioned it travel on it a while back but didn't know she'd used nick as a gaslighting make believe he was paying. Now snortys been on scene for two years he'd expect to go even if nick was paying.

It is indeed, plus you do need some language skills what happens when you go to the dentist or doctors, can't assume they speak English which so many do. We were at a BBQ last night (in the cold a mix of Brits and French) there were a load of Brits who all live in the same village (well known for being a little clique), they all herded together and didn't interact with the French. We were with the French and had a good laugh, while the rest all stood there po faced looking like they were going to bloody Henley Regatta (@C'est moi there were even a couple from Ewell, a bit up their own jaxy though). We'd never met these French people before but got on like a house on fire and have been invited to pop in anytime were over their way. That's what it's all about intergating. I could imagine Gerry would certainly give it a go if he were there. Couldn't imagine him wanting to stagnate with that bunch, I'd like to think he'd be down the local bar.

Many of you have heard, my dad has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. After specialists, PET scan & a biopsy, stage 3a. Perhaps people had concerns that Percy had cancer, but there is no diagnosis before the biopsy. I’m happy Percy doesn’t have cancer, Stephanie should throw him a garden party in his honor and not visit him in SA.

Did Stephanie contact all of her guests that were in close contact with Percy?

how old is Percy? At times seeing him doing some of the work around there I really questioned what was going on as he appeared more and more frail. Living in that damp place with all those stairs....agree stay in SA and if Isabelle wants to be with him it is there. Also I was shocked to see him flying off to SA on his own for some "business" and I said to myself...is this guy not retired?

For anyone who’s viewed the latest post on poor Percy ….. once again I was gobsmacked by how this wench has managed to turn Percy’s illness into being all about herself and squirrels boy.
The pure lack of selflessness she demonstrated in that video. Down to the BS CLICK BAIT TITLE she posted for the video was disgusting!
I have always felt sorry for Percy. Why did they drag him to the UK for a diagnosis when the UK has horrible Health care ?
He has a son who’s a surgeon in SA!!!!
what they must think of that Trollope and Isabel and Jerry even getting involved with their father’s health MY GOD !

again...it is all strange....but seriously giving someone a cancer diagnosis and wait for radio therapy ...just imagine the torture that they all went thru.

I was just reading about how high the incidence of TB is in South Africa. Again just asking a few questions about travel in the last year could have given the UK docs a clue. If they could have taken Percy in for radio therapy immediately he would have started that treatment. This is such a lesson to get second opinions on everything.

Fanny says that Percy underwent tests in SA at the start of the year (February?) when he was told he 'needed to live with it." Given that SA is a high incidence country for TB, you would think that the alarm would have been raised at that stage. Is this when his sons started to question if this could be TB? If so, why would they not have tried to prevent him from travelling to the UK and France when they knew that he was in poor health or is the case that Fanny and IJ had more sway over Percy's decision to travel, when he was clearly very unwell at that point.

The UK specialist who suggested that it was possible that this was likely to be cancer and intended to carry out a biopsy in two weeks before any treatment could begin approx two weeks later. (Junior doctors took part in strike action from 7am on 13 July until 7am on 18 July 2023 and hospital consultants were strike for 48 hours from 7am on 20 July.3 Jul 2023, delaying treatment for many.) I am sure that being the rapid deterioration in Percy's general health and frail appearance would have contributed to his probable diagnosis. They decided to go back to SA where he would be seen a little sooner and he had the biopsy last week, that revealed the TB.

She says that his surgeon in SA said that TB was prevalent in the past but almost eradicated and yet

"TB is the leading cause of death in South Africa. It kills approximately 89,000 people per year, or 10 people every hour. Effective treatments are available, and the country has made significant progress in combating the disease, but much more is required to bring it under control." 7.12.2022

Fanny's version of events always throw up more questions than answers.

Supposedly he’s at Begmania working on the greenhouse and cottage. The funny things is, when he re-re-re-relaunched his channel earlier this year he said he would be working on the chateau while Billy supervised the convent renovations. But a few weeks ago, Billy did a video where he worked on the chateau bedrooms because Gwen had been asking for them to get done since January. Billy didn’t look too excited about it. So….why hasn’t Michael worked on them? Michael hasn’t released a video since June 12…almost two months ago. There’s lots of circuit parties in Spain going on…Barcelona right now, and the (infamous) Matrix Sun Festival next week (that’s the festival where, a few years ago, Michael was caught and photographed on a boat with Andrew (and other barely clothed guys) after crying poverty and begging fans for money; after he was caught, he said he was just watching the dolphins ).

So…your guess is as good as mine!

I would agree there definitely is sickness at the chateau but it is not Percy.
It is a deep smelling unpleasant odour of deceit. Show the accounts and get on with the renovations and where is Amoury or is he so upset about Percy he cannot bear to be in camera.

Percy ….and more so Isabel as you read here. Stay in SA keep warm and eat well.

Whether Percy's illness is a sham or not, at his age and condition, Percy shouldn't be working and traveling too much anymore. It would be best for him to stay in SA close to his family, instead of Lalande where he essentially functions as SJ and Isabelle's unpaid errand boy. Make the paid errand gay work for his money.

She could have also said that he has been unwell and is being treated now and looking forward and praying for a full recovery..... but in true Fanny style she has to give a long drawn out story some true....some probably not true... I for one would not want the world to know my private medical problems ...

Exactly this! Just when I thought she was done going on and on, she just kept going! Pulling out all the books by authors who recovered from having TB was bizarre. I guess she was just trying to prove to her adoring and concerned fans that it is curable, but I feel she wanted to appear manic also. Loosing both her father and dear Percy would be too unbearable. When it comes to her followers, it’s important to keep the level of concern for her heartbreak at the same level of her grifting outcomes.
She said that Percy wanted her viewers to know what was going on but it just seemed like she over shared. When people over share, I often think it’s because they feel guilty about something or need attention because they are uncomfortable with their feelings/thoughts or just trying to suck attention.
I am sad to hear about Percy and glad that he’s getting help- overseen by his family (surgeon sons).

Poor old Percy has looked terribly ill and lost so much weight it’s been alarming. Glad they’re on top of things now. He’s been one of my favourite characters and a veritable breath of fresh air. His calm business head, entrepreneurial enthusiasm and wry South African demeanour has added a lot to CLL.

I wish him a speedy and full recovery and if he reads here I’m sending positive vibes over the waters.

when you get the needle with the little bubble under the skin , usually on the underside of your lower forearm , that would be a the Tb test to see if you have active Tb. you check it a few days later to see if there is a reaction. The vaccine would be different in the deltoid muscle of your outer upper arm, the same place flu/covid and most vaccines are given . Small pox vaccine was like a punch thing with multiple needles that left a very clear mark on your upper outer arm, my sister has one ( 3 years older) but I do not they stopped the vaccine by the time I would have gotten it.

My mother had them do the shot in the inner part of our arm so we did not have scars showing.

If you had a southern mom like I did, chances are great that she had the doctor give the vaccine in your under your arm, so that when you got older and wore a "sleeveless cocktail dress", the scar wouldn't show! My mom used to tell me that all the time and was so proud of herself for having my vaccine under my arm - I can remember as clear as day not understanding what a "cocktail dress" was! A scar from a vaccine was the least of my worries growing up!

Ah, that's right! Sorry @Freesia! I was wrong! I do not remember how I got that one....maybe I was really young and wouldn't have remembered actually getting it. That vaccine scar is definitely under my arm, though!
