The TB one, if I can remember back that far, didn't hurt at all - I think it was on your forearm, and the nurse at school would look at it a few days after giving it to see if the area was raised or not.I remember getting the vaccine..it hurt and left me with a dead arm for a few days, plus the recognisable 'branding mark ' of the injection site is still visible. I would think with air travel and on board air conditioning it is a breeding ground for bacteria. This year my partner and I returned from Spain and a few days of being home he was positive with covid. He very rarely goes out at home or mixes with others socially so I can only assume it was caught on the flight. The amount of people who pass through Lielande and whom he's had contact with is a concern. I hope he recovers but it will be a long process. Glad he's at home too, much healthier environment.

The vaccine would be different in the deltoid muscle of your outer upper arm, the same place flu/covid and most vaccines are given . He was referred, said Fanny, to a specialist in Cambridge. No specialist - by which I would expect to mean a consultant - but anyone in the medical profession surely does not diagnose cancer before an x ray, scan, pet scan, mammogram or MRI or some other proof that it is cancer - or recommend a course of radiotherapy as was the case here? If a biopsy was needed to confirm cancer - surely you have that before you are told you have cancer? And surely - you discount infection (even if you don't diagnose TB) before you tell someone they have cancer? Fanny said this was a throat specialist. Did he even look down Percy's throat before making a diagnosis?I think Percy would have had biopsie in UK to determine IF cancer BEFORE any radiotherapy?
