All that running around, travelling, etc. My curse worked somewhat but I have to share it with her as I've got COVID along with my husband and brother. Not bad symptoms more like a cold. We are going ahead with our plans because this year it's just the three of us and we're all in the same boat. We all just had our boosters a few weeks ago but we did do some travelling locally and have not been wearing our masks. I'll start wearing a mask again, damn I hate those things! This is my first bout with COVID and my husband's. My brother had it once before. As a kid, I was almost always sick at Christmas. Whoever came up with the idea of Christmas being in the winter, at least in the northern hemisphere, was an idiot! Terrible weather. Flu and cold season. Bah humbug! But it makes me a little happy to know that Fanny is under the weather too. Hasn't Fanny pulled this "I'm sick" thing before when all the attention may not be on her? She also gets out of any work she signed up and lots of sympathy. We'll see how many others get sick or if she's just faking it. Like Clara said it's probably just another hangover.

Seeing as though she was as usual filming in bed I looked very carefully to see if the other side of the bed had been slept in. She was careful not to film the other side, allegedly Phillipa's side. However... she slipped up and I could see from the side where the pillows are that the pillows had not been disturbed and were perfectly arranged. Who sleeps in a bed with someone and when the other partner get's up they arrange their pillows perfectly? Not in my experience it doesn't happen, the bed is made when everyone gets up. Then she says to Phillipa as it minces in with a cup of tea what a lovely sight first thing in the morning. Had Phillipa been in the bed the whole night her first sight would have been of it getting out of bed, dressed, fumbling around etc. No, her first sight was it entering with the tea. I smell a rat, a great big smelly one...oh sorry, that must have been Phillipa's beanie.

Someone in France needs to phone social services and get them to come and pick her up before she does something that everyone will regret.

Yes, they do work. I didn't have any colds or COVID when I religiously wore them. I'm definitely going back to it at least through the winter. Just got a bit cocky and am now paying for it. Live and learn, hopefully!You're right about the masks.
