Did you like the whopper Fanny tells in today’s video about how the beam had been sagging in the grand salon for years and that she had repeatedly asked specialists about it and was told the beam could be fine for centuries! She is such a LIAR. I think thelittle baby was trying to hide her face from F4F because the baby didn’t want her face to reveal that the baby found the missing ACCOUNTS!

Repeatedly asked specialists AND has smack you up side the head obvious damage happening directly upstairs.
a) The specialists are idiots
b) The damage just happened, um yesterday... Surprise, surprise, surprise!
c) Someone is telling porkies

She has not bothered to redecorate the chambre des oiseaux because she has known all along there were structural issues. Two plus years and she still has the lace rag hanging behind the bed, no picture rail, no knew wallpaper or fabrics...

Ugh, and those brainless wonders are still throwing money at her.

Water seeks its own level. That is why Michael and F4F got along so well.

Have a New York minute on this lovely December night!

Now back to Lalande.
Areas of New York City during the holiday season are so beautifully decorated. That photo really captures the essence of New York . Great photo. I can almost feel the chill in the air. I love when you post photos of the city.

Sorry off topic but what do you yentas think of the 2023 pantone color of the year? Small doses.. I think. https://www.pantone.com/color-of-the-year-2023
That is an intense magenta. I agree, small doses. It could easily be overwhelming or polarizing. In the right setting, it could look great. Or just one accent wall painted in magenta.

Here is a article on why they chose viva magenta as Pantone color of the year. The other products in the article interpret the color in a less harsh manner.

..and the only reason she had the architects look at it was because Saint Philip told her she must... Amaury is a pee-on compared to Saint Philip... he has singlehandedly saved the castle...
Good catch. That's Stephanie Jarvis for you: always trying to get a win out of a terrible loss she's responsible for. Of course it was not Snorts who pushed for the extra inspection. Nobody truly saved the shittoo, at this point it is beyond saving.

Everything in that room is fighting with everything else.
It's one big clash.
Her style is described by the narrator on DIY as 'flamboyant'.
I think 'chaotic' is more appropriate.
I wish I could tell you it looks better in reality. It does not.

F4F is getting increasingly careless and sloppy with the truth with each Advent video she is posting. She is really phoning it in. I am so tired of hearing her talk about all the produce from the garden.

1. It isn’t true. As Clara has confirmed, they buy much of their produce from the local markets and lie to guests and viewers about its true origin.

2. F4F had 3 part time to full time gardeners for her garden patch. Factoring in that expense, her home grown produce costs much more than organically grown produce from local markets.

3. F4F has no content. She is essentially earning $40,000 per month in Patron funding for a backyard garden. Ridiculous.

4. She insists on planting dozens of expensive rose bushes, dozens of other flowers, expensive to maintain apple trees and espaliered trees, and creating many garden beds with
lots of fruits and vegetables, along with many plants in the greenhouse. That is a lot of expensive ongoing maintenance. She seems to think she is creating a mini Versailles garden at the Dump.

5. Even with 3 part time/ full time gardeners and sometimes Dan, they cannot adequately care for everything ( remember Dan the gardener left the grape vines on the ground to rot this summer). What is going to happen to all this expensive landscaping and gardens when the money train ends?

Prior to F4F hitting the lottery, the apple trees had not been pruned in over 20 years. The garden and greenhouse were in disrepair. F4F did virtually nothing with the gardens. I think once the money runs out, the gardens will look as neglected as the drained pond. It will be rotting fruit, decayed plants, rose bushes growing wild, etc.

6. She will not corral the peacocks and other creatures who routinely damage or eat the plants, etc.

I am confused as why she needs surveys for everything she does? Is this something that is done in France? None of the other chatuea owners every mention it. It sounds like to me just begging for more money.
Surveys are the way to go if you need to take the speed out of a project and the perfect provider of smoke and mirrors at the same time. I was present years ago when Stephanie Jarvis explained this strategy she and her proud co-owners have since perfected. She was rambling on about stuff she wanted to buy for her shittoo (read: she wanted others to buy for her) and when someone asked about funding the costs of maintenance, she proudly replied: "If there is a problem emerging, we talk about. Then we talk about it some more, without worrying too much because we can count on another, even bigger problem emerging soon, so then we talk about that. Then we talk about it some more..."

Clara,

Is Ruby okay.? Where does he sleep at night. In one of the recent videos, Ruby was climbing out of the wood pile in the peacock poop shed. Does Ruby have a safe warm place to sleep or does he have to fend for himself in the outdoors every night.

Ruby's fine. The cat is the least of my worries when it comes to Stephanie Jarvis shenanigans. Cat's are pretty capable of taking care of themselves and there's a solid stock of mice and other rodents for him to feed himself with.

I think the it is important to understand that this is an illness. It's not the fault of anyone. Behavioural issues are a result of the illness. It is not Karma as it is not happening to the carer but to the patient. How we react to a situation is our choice. It sounds like a simple philosophy but in the days when we feel at breaking point logical thinking is not our first go to. I often reflect on Buddhism life quotes which help me find myself in the 'trying' moments. Always remember you are doing the best you can and that's all any of us can do.

In my not so humble opinion, with last night’s flog Stephanie Jarvis has written her testament and has given the blueprint for how things roll at her shittoo, not just now but in the past as well.
When they bought the place many years ago her co-owner friend Larkin insisted they should involve structural architects in their plans for the renovation of the dump. The Jarvisses however were way too keen to start making changes and enhance the look and feel of the place as to mimic their status in life and decided they didn’t need any experts if they would just let builders in and start the work. My personal guess is this is when Bag Head Larkin accepted his fate: it’s no use going against her ladyship’s wishes, Stephanie Jarvis always gets what she wants the moment she wants it.
The “architects” that she now claims over the years have provided her with the security that the beams in her not grand salon would hold up for generations to come were no experts and were only telling her what she wants to hear, without any real inspections or evaluations of the actual decay going on. Many people do this, she has that effect on most of the people she surrounds herself with. This is her biggest talent: to surround herself with people capable of constantly living in denial for the sake of bathing in her graces. It all becomes a self fulfilling prophecy this way, again and again. Speak up and your out, no arguments necessary.
In her attempt to explain the structural challenges that her “beloved” chapel is now facing (a moldy, damp structure she much rather used as a backdrop for her extravagant parties then for its intended religious purpose until she discovered the potential it offers her to continue the begging) she mentioned water being at the root of its downfall. Us tattlers knew and have been saying this all along: creating that poor excuse for a ‘Jardin Anglaise’ and feeding it the excessive amounts of water during a summer filled with heatwaves (when it was prohibited to water ones garden, but hey, who cares, right, Stephanie?) on top of rampaging the surrounding soil with big diggers, operated (once again) by amateurs and not by experts who knew what they were doing, has for sure speeded up the demise of the charming structure.
By now, nobody can pretend not to know of the irresponsible methods this vandal uses to get her way, not restoring but destroying French heritage. Soon it will be irreparably damaged. To her patrons I say: supporting Miss Jarvis makes you complicit to this capital destruction. If you are considering to donate, d’ont! You are not helping anyone achieve anything of real importance. You are just filling Miss Jarvis bank account. But what's worse: by offering this charlataine your money, you are actively and demonstrably preventing real, structural change from happening. But I guess that’s what your need for escapism is about in the first place, isn’t it?

One of my favourite phrases I was thinking the same. Along with her Sainthood the crazies will be nominating her for an Oscar next. She made it sound like that gap between the floor above and the wall had been there for some considerable time, so does that mean her beloved wallpaper upstairs has also looked like that for sometime too. More questions, questions...

Absolutely, hit the nail on the head. She's now putting blame on all those 'builders' and 'architects' who have come in before to look at the place and haven't told her what she wanted to hear. Makes me so cross, that poor old place has never stood a chance. With the new heating system more digging up, drilling into walls wonder how that will affect the building long term.

Woooow! She has been renting that room out for 2 years for 220 euro's a day!!! Shameless!

Had she put the rent money for these two rooms in a fund, she would have come a long way.

Oh I am so sick of her wallpaper !
If that place falls down on you the last thing anyone would be thinking of is that darn paper !

My hot take on the ‘comment’ is that it is an in joke between the 2 of them directed straight at the 15 Tattlers.

To me it clearly appears to be a reference to the recent comments here that have warned about the structural problems for ages …. it is typical Petherick ‘mocking’ type humour & she is acknowledging it & laughing with him.

@lyna has just provided the photographic evidence that shows we are right & more could easily be provided by searching the videos ….. but so what …. they can laugh about it because poor poor Stephanie’s well planned grift is still working perfectly.
