The mortgage wasn't small either if I remember correctly. The Chateau was also over 1 million to buy without YouTube they would never have got off the ground. The Bn b wouldn't have been such a success without Chateau DIY show they have been lucky and cashed in, but the smugness and entitled responses are odious. Without Chateau DIY no one would have paid such extortionate prices for B n B either.

I think Micheal had a serious drug problem, hence his begging. I think Billy and Gwen kicked out Andrew and gave Micheal an ultimatum. Maybe he went to rehab when he vanished from YouTube.
As for the army, that is non of my business. If Billy was found guilty, he would have been in jail. Obviously something seriously happened to him and he was found not guilty. I like Billy. He has a great work ethic and has done more in a week than Stephanie has done in a year. He gave his siblings apartments and cottages, but it’s up to them to fix it. He is after all letting them live for free at his place.

Oh I think people are being far too germphobic - full time gardeners always have dirt under their nails if they have nails - it's really hard to get that tit outta there. Cut Kirsty some slack - and all gardeners for that matter. Besides a bit of earth is good for your gut health and immune system.

I, just have to state, that personally, I was not having a go at Kirsty. My philosophy is always - each to their own!
I was only offering up some suggestions to primarily, "female" professional gardeners who may ordinarily be gardening for 4-6 hours at any one time, how they might avoid the constant headache of having ingrained soil under your fingernails.
And, for the record, I am 100% not a germaphobe - just someone who doesn't like others to think that I haven't adequately/properly washed etc.

I can certainly see why Maria and Pavlina have their own place. I can't imagine being spied upon by Nasti and constantly told to do this or that by Little Boy/Girl Fondletoy let alone freezing in an attic room, sounds very Dickinsonian. Plus, once they come to their senses they can make a clean break. I hope they pull a good one and just don't show up for some important event that requires their services as they happily drive off for their Grand Tour in their new Tesla.

It is not a norm to buy smeg while begging for money. Phillips, bosch, samsung all would work perfectly fine. Since they don't have to work for money, they buy what they want not what they need. What was wrong with their toyota? Nothing. They wanted a tesla, there wasn't a need for a tesla.

I have to give it to SJ at least she had her smegs and thermomixers before the ebegging. She is consistent with her need to buy expensive stuff.

I haven't watched this Jewelyn's vlogs, but I doubt she's correct in thinking Maria & Pavlina live off-site. That would cost rent and they'd probably need a car as well to get to Lala.

Thank you for the absolution! When I ordered them, I didn’t tell me partner how much they cost. Plus, they were priced in £ instead of $ …so they looked less expensive on paper! I don’t think he saw the bill.

I enjoyed reading this thread was a little behind but now caught up. Thoughts... At times I forget that the Vloggers can show us just what they want to, so my question is why let us know about Teslas, yachts, expensive buys???? do they not realize how it looks to people watching???
During Jewelyns latest vlog you could see Amorie coming out of the end building isn't that Nic and Maries place, is that where they are living? makes sense. So Maire and Pavlina they could actually both have full time jobs somewhere else, Maria cooks once in a while Pavlina works in the garden once in a while- they could both have apartments and cars we don't know that- Amorie could have a job somewhere else as could Nati-- but not Phillips he is far too sickly and Fanny needs him around her 24/7. Just remember that it's all smoke and mirrors and we are not shown the whole picture... I personally would not want to work and live in such a remote place seeing the same people day in and day out-

I enjoy watching the Fleuries. Their vlogs are polished, their chateau is tastefully decorated, and I've enjoyed their projects, especially those featuring Benoit. Their travel vlogs are far more interesting than F4F's. I don't subscribe to their Patreon account and so honestly it doesn't really bother me if they buy a Tesla or a yacht.
Phillipp and Anna have been far more astute in their spending generally.

I agree with you as my opinion of them is still generally good, however the closing of the BnB business and now the repurposing of the Patreon income purpose feels like a bait and switch. Had they said from the beginning that Patreon is just a way of supporting their income while getting some additional content in return would not have been badly received by anyone - as that is the purpose of Patreon.

It's the lies that bother me, not the grift.
