Very fancy. My go to for around the casa, are fuzzy Sox with puppies on them. Never bare tootsies for me either. That would be extremely tacky.
Yass. For all of us who haven't worn a closed shoe since the millenium. We have formal black tie flip flops.
White tie flip flops.
Even better, the Oz hippie chick beach barefoot sandals jewelry. No soles!

My only qualms about retiring to a more rural environment is the availability of quality complete medical care. I love the quiet and slower pace.
I believe that is a really valid consideration MRShavershamsdress.
When we chose a second place it had to be within a radius that was a two hour drive from Melbourne.
It had to have a regional train line back to Melbourne.
But most importantly, it had to have medical care.

A friend of mine and I were once discussing why all the road rage incidents we'd seen involved pissy little blondes in big SUVs. We decided it was the thongs that had pushed them over the edge.

I think something is up as well.
What it is, I have not the faintest idea.
But it's way too quiet at the HMN.

For many years had the place at the beach 42 Kilometers from nearest hospital, 17 from nearest small store, worked to make it ready for retirement, unfortunately co-owner had health problems. Decision made that as we age to travel distances to see person in hospital can become so hard. The few that have required ambulances have had to wait over an hour or more.

Deciion made to remain in town hospital only 10minutes away. But kept the crib as it a nice get away also extra income as we rent out in silly season. Pays for yearly expenses and have it for the other 46 weeks.

Yes I know 42 km doesnt seem far but 90% of the travel is on narrow gravel road and subject to slips and flooding. Several years ago when 'going for the weekend' it extended to eight days with helicopter bringing in food and medical supplies as road cut off and not seen as a primary or secondary road of importance. No power for all that time.

I say go for it. But I've always been a fly by the seat of your pants kind of girl. You know yourself...

I lost my son to suicide two years ago, he had made several attempts and we were in the dark about his mental condition as he put on a brave front hiding his torment from us. I’m happy for you and your son, I hope that he is open and let’s you know if things are getting too much for him. Now that I belong to the club no one wants to join, I try to distract myself and stay busy, and the famous 15 make me laugh they’re really not such terrible bunch

I'm wondering if it may have something to do with Percy's health. Maybe Fanny has orders to stay put in case Mummy needs her.

Having a uniform, whether business or casual, is a great idea. Everything goes with everything.

I live in a rural area. More neighbors and people in the summer in the winter its just me. I love the peace and solitude no sirens, car noises. Just birds. I am never lonely I enjoy my own company and my dogs. I invite people once in a while Go out to.lunch or a festival with friends once in a while. I enjoy the slow pace. I would go for it. Life is a journey not a destination we all know where we will end up

Congrats to all new vips, well earned respect for keeping up with this.... Jarvis vlog.. I might sound a bit bitter, but well my once favorite soap.. Suddenly got so annoying
Inspired by tattle.. I had to search for the gulyas vlog, watched handyman nonsense...
The gift grabbing used to be entertaining, but nowadays Ms fate or Ms Christmas tree or Mrs Annemarie or whatever does such an unacceptable selection..
I miss the "journals", I m sure someone sent goat broaches.. And Noone will ever watch the ll people scream enthusiastically...
Just a bernardaut bed pan, lame
I m watching "Lindenstraße" instead
