I think it is another made up ploy to give the impression that she worked so tirelessly that she injured her back and wants sympathy and attention. So she is a bit annoying although I do like some of her house tours very informative.I have never liked her. She is too crass and strikes me as a royal-chaser. I will give her credit where it is due- she does a great job at managing their estate, and has brought in much-needed revenue to maintain the upkeep (they are not as wealthy as one might think), but I find her incredibly annoying and without class.
I do not think it is Sarah so much as Shrek. Sarah is just going with the flow, but Shrek has always been enamoured with Fanny and her life. SMH. This is probably why I like Sarah so much- she just puts up with her husband's shenanigans (no, Shrek, Fanny is never going to bed you, let alone run off with you, but keep dreaming pal, while Sarah dreams of running off with the likes of Robert Redford- she has a far better chance!)Why do the Maker and Manor duo kiss Fanny’s ass so much and do all sorts of favors and work for her? Do they not see who she really is, a shifty grifter? Or do they not care?

Yes, they wanted all of BnB rooms to be available for the tours. This is why they did the visit during the days the BnB would have normally been inactive. She didn't skip a beat and didn't lose any money.....According to what I read , I believe it was in the patron video that was post none of the patrons were staying at the chateau, that they had to find there own accomodations.

The fabric was gifted in return for some free advertisement from the company itself, they can just write it off as an expense. You know the saying about gifts, once you give it away, it's no longer yours. At least she used it instead of just stashing it in the attic, and the Sewist did a fine job finishing the edges. The wine was probably almost free, the cost of gas to get it probably was about the same or more than the wine itself, and it gave everyone a break from Phyllis. The entire charade went off like everything else at the shitoo, no surprises. Lack of planning, lack of taste, lack of quality, etc. The group photos were awful, very unflattering for everyone. Potts did a miserable job, so many other ways to take group photos other than something that might be done at an elementary school picnic. I don't think that most of the patrons really expected much more considering how most of them were dressed so casually in T-shirts and flip-flops with funky handbags that didn't match anything they were wearing. As a matter of fact, they WERE dressed for an elementary school picnic!Fanny didn’t care because the fabric was free. It was incredibly disrespectful towards the person who gifted her the expensive quilting fabric to have it chopped up into hastily made tablecloths to be used for 3 days in a dirty garage and likely discarded. They do have dozens of tablecloths at their disposal but Fanny and the porcelain fondler are too lazy and selfish to use “their” tablecloths on the riff riff Patrons that pay for all the luxuries they enjoy.
Do you think Fanny paid for the wine or got it for free as”product placement” in upcoming videos? There was no need for the wine as Fanny has a couple of years worth of wine already at the Dump. She did not want to dip into her own alcohol stash to provide for the Patrons.
New threadI 100% agree with you on all accounts. I suspect Fanny put out her back while awkwardly dancing in the kitchen. She popped a painkiller, yet gleefully exclaimed upon Snorts' return from LaGorce that they would need to sample the wine. Alcohol and painkillers? That is sooo Lalande!
Suspect they forgot about the wine until last minute, and may have gotten a deal from the vinters at LaGorce (with the help of Anna and Edd, who don't actually own the vineyard) for publicity, as they were certain to show its label often.
That garage was a literal hot mess. They did not even remove the old doors- with a team, it could have been done in an hour. Even Dan had suggested renting a few gazebos, but oh no, Fanny wanted to keep it on the cheap. Hence, Maria had to come up with something last minute with random folding tables, and junk from storage. Do they not even own a leaf blower? They could have had those floors clean in a half hour.
Once again, hiring the 90s porcelain would have cost money. It would have taken a good day to properly clean those teapots, cups and saucers, so suspect it was not done. Yuck.
Andie and Potts- wow, what entrepreneurs they are. I guess they saw an opportunity to make a little bank on the side- had they given trinkets to the guests, perhaps some would have been more inclined to buy something. Meanwhile, Pavlina, who was probably embarrassed there was nothing to give the Patrons, concocted some sketchy herbal tea to gift the Patrons. Fanny would have been better served holding on to all of those teacups and saucers she donated a few months ago to Emmaus and put a cup and matching saucer in each bag. I also agree 100% with @Jules100 on the CLL lanyards- it would have made them feel a bit more appreciated.
Sarah was a champ- I don't care what anyone says, I like her. She saw something needed to be done (Fanny would have just put the raw fabric on the table), and hemmed tablecloths out of very dear fabric to her best ability without complaining. Shrek also stepped in to help peel potatoes and do heavy lifting. The fact they did not release a video today shows they have class.
I found the woodburners ironic, as Fanny stated Snorts and she would be snug this winter. I suppose the rest of the inhabitants of the Shitoo would be crowded around the sole one in the Marquis' Salon until that is rented out.
Potts' apartment was an odd one too- suspect it was let out for a small fortune. Patron Day isn't going to pay for itself!

Jeeves…… I am an American. , and claim to be an Anglophile…….. I am sad for this end of an era and fear for the UK. I have always been amazed at the way HRM gave her life to the throne. So, albeit not from the UK, my heart is sad.Thankfully many Tattlers who are not British or Commonwealth citizens do understand that the death of a much loved and respected Monarch after more than 70 years of service to her country is something that will have a huge impact on the country, whether you are a Royalist or not. I suppose you can't expect all foreign nationals to begin to understand or appreciate the depth of feeling that brings for us.
As I recall, there was blanket coverage globally following the assassination of JFK, after just a couple of years as POTUS. I don't think any of us can begrudge this coverage of the concern for the Queen's health after her lifetime of service. The BBC will continue provide appropriate coverage for the UK, the Commonwealth and and anyone else who cares to watch. Those who don't are free to change channel.

I haven’t watched any of her videos in so long- and it’s rather refreshing!!! So after reading here tonight, I don’t think I need to subject myself to this video- as I worked a long day today myself- but I can’t just claim “back pain”. Lol!!! I am going to bed soon to get up and go to work again tomorrow. I’m not meaning to sound whiny- I’m just saying that some people have to keep on keeping on! I’d rather stay busy anyway.Horrible vlog, horrible woman! every time there’s work to do her back goes out, conveniently it looked fine when she was jigging around the kitchen. And the tattlers were right they didn’t clean the barn just set up the tables in all that dirtwhy do they always arrive at other people château’s at 3 in the morning? I almost choked when she said that. One thing for sure, both she and PhiPhi are allergic to work!
