Work on the Grand Salon was supposed to start in April. It's now August and the only thing happening in the Grand Salon are acrojacks holding up the ceiling.

Fanny isn't coming clean - there's a structural problem which she's not telling people about. Instead Fanny's keeping up the facade of progress by shopping for the Grand Salon and waffling on about paneling design changes and symmetry in the room. Fanny should worry less about the symmetry of the Grand Salon and worry more about whether the ceiling is about to collapse.

Thus the delay tactics and why Amuary is doing other projects:
- additional woodwork in the Marquis Suite (probably wasn't in the original plan)
- secret door
- secret Channel 4 project
- reviewing radiators and
- garbage bin fencing
- working with Nic the Tree Surgeon
- going on holiday again with Natti

I can't imagine that Amuary is very pleased. Amuary may like working to his own schedule and he's very exacting and deliberate, but he also likes to work and keep busy. So I can't imagine Amuary's very happy about the delay, sitting on his ass doing nothing and being made the scapegoat for the work delay.

i cant catch up with the vlogs and with you..my aunt died last monday, we had to rush back to The Netherlands..before she died.. so the last few weeks have been very hectic..i try to catch up with you all the next weeks..keep up the humor and the good work!!

So sorry for the death of your Aunt. Hopefully, you were able to be with her a bit before she died. Tattlers have become a family of sort.

Another thing that looks kind of hicky to me, the mouldings. If and I repeat if, Amaury made these, (and we see how effin slow he is at everything), then these mouldings would have cost thousands to make. I think these have been bought as stock pieces from a specialist moulding firm. When you make these kind of profiles, you have to wrap multiple pieces in clingfilm to stop them bending(because of the heat generated by the machine cutters). But look at them, they are as straight as a die. Its another bluff folks.
P.S. Fanny must be the only person who orders wallpaper and colouring pencils at the same time.

Those pictures of the large sitting room really show how low the ceiling is. I’ve never noticed how very low it is. I agree the structural risk of the ceiling is not being addressed until tax is sorted. Unless the old wall plaster was holding up the ceiling - so La lande!

SO TRUE! The dynamics have definitely changed. SJ is losing control at a rapid pace and she has no idea what is about to happen. PJ, his slimy self, has slipped in and taken over.

if what Isabelle and Clara are eluding to comes to a head………. SJ’s lifestyle is about to come to a screeching halt!

She must have given that control to him though... She would have said it's 'we', or she would pick him up on it, even privately, and he wouldn't do it any more. But he continues more blatantly, "we have art of Stephanies' father in every room", F off Buddy.

Well, my son who has to get up for work at 4:30 a.m., decided not to hear his alarm this morning!
But I heard it!!!
Couldn't go back to sleep...and since I am nosey!!! ( lol), I decided to see what you all were up to when I am normally asleep here in America.
Tattlers never sleep!

Don't forget there are two further projects on Armoire's list: internal shutters everywhere and panelling in other rooms (bedrooms?). And bookcases for the winter salon as it morphs into a library..

Hell will have frozen over before the Grand Salon is completed. Rather than talking about structural "challenges", Stephanie continues to lead the patrons up the garden path and into a labyrinth of obfuscation.

Exactly. Yes he may have done a good job but by god he'd be unemployable by anyone else if he took that long to complete it. In the UK jobs are done on either a day rate or a priced job rate. So whichever one he was on for this particular job he'd have priced himself out of the market. As usual with these Jarvis kids they've been given a business by their parents & have no idea of what it would be like in the real world to run it.
Mummy & Daddy bailing them out all the time & so they're entitled brats because they know there is plenty of money sloshing around to put roofs over their heads, buy cars, give them properties & businesses & therefore no real need to get gainful employment.

Rose Townsend being the same lady that posted the reveal has now given us a before pic to compare with after pic... she's very obliging. @KiKiGee
