Who the Fu*k does Selmar think he is, IMHO he believes he knows all things Chateau, telling the owners of the Chateau its easy to install toilets into bathrooms, you can get new toilets with skinny pipes. Yes they would be on septic tank so all waste gray and brown in one hole BUT he is not a plumber, they obviously have pipe problems from comments made. The second reveal was spolit by bad sound he needs to invest his patreon $ in getting mics. Ed and Anna were thrashed by viewers and have now gone through 4 sets of mics why doesn't some one tell him.

There were comments about mics for all who are speaking. But then there were also comments they could hear fine.
What is most irritating to me is his obnoxious laughing at his own comments- which generally aren’t very funny. Weird! And Tatiana seemed to be zoned out- just floating around in her Rapunzal dress. Even weirder!!!
Oh and almost forgot- the “cocktail corner” he had to reference- like at LaLande. Now that was hilarious!! And more laughing!

I watched Sadie's video today and it was so moving, all these horses who are rescued when they get older. I kept thinking how many people donate to Stephanie so she can spend thousands on wallpaper, new machinery, and expensive chandeliers - people are paying for a wealthy woman in her 40s to buy luxury when the money could go to people who have nothing and who are trying to help people. I find it baffling as well as upsetting.

Reliable tradesmen take care of their tools. But this is Dan we're talking about, so his spirit level is most likely now buried under the 12 centimetres of concrete that is the studio floor. His work is shoddy, so it's not like he would have noticed it.

I just posted this comment on the Fleuries latest vlog: That was pure joy to watch. I had the honor of hearing a Canadian opera singer in the Lalande chapel and he explained that choir music was written to accommodate the different characteristics of the building's natural acoustics. Those violins sounded like they were made for that space. I have often commented to other Chateau owners that they should feature and support the local villages and people in their vlogs, so I am so thrilled that you did this! And that you hire local community members for your renovations and upkeep. You're doing it right! How fitting that Saint Martin shared his cloak with a person in need and now others are honoring his charity by helping restore a chapel devoted to him. It's an inspiration. You might want to give Lalande a call if the church finds a good chapel restorer. I heard they're looking for one.

@missartemis - I just finished watching it, and you've summarized it perfectly- it was pure joy to watch. From Anna and Philipp's arrival to Honfleur, they immersed themselves into the community, and embraced the culture, history and people, all while working diligently to restore their Chateau. It was truly wonderful of Anna and Philipp (who have 1000 other projects going on- and with the B&B operating for the season) to put together a fund raising event for the church, and broadcast it on YT with a link to the church's fund raising site.

There seems to always be two (several) stories going on in the flogs… SSB tries to control the narrative but there’s just way too many non- SSB’s also running around her- split between her smoke and mirrors and their own ideals/delusions… it’s no wonder why she’s about to topple over from anxiety at any moment. I can’t imagine what or who would be next in-line to cushion her after her BJJ; he’s got to be the last in line.
Maybe she is truly ‘battening down the hatches’, knowing that the eventualities that come with aging, such as loosing her mother and having her body match her hands are not that far away.
Whatever it is, she is a convincing actress- much better than her cushion-boy.

Another thought about the place being deserted- I have watched some of those explorers videos of going through abandoned castles. They could be contacted to go and film going through the place- that would be hilarious! As long as there’s a way in- they aren’t breaking and entering. From what I read here they don’t lock the place up anyway. Can you imagine Fannys face when she sees it on a Youtube channel (like Sam & Jess or Bros. of Decay). “Today we are going through an abandoned castle in the middle of nowhere in France. Their slippers are by the bed, as if they just left”....lol!

That would be Hilarious! It would have to be Bros of Decay. Most fitting!
