Maybe he was driving back to the house to see the kids in the morning and evening. When my daughter was with her dad, I went up there at 5am every morning to wake her up at 7am and get her to school etc as he was working, then I would go to work myself.

Really sad news about Dan and Annalise. But it explains a lot, him showing up in chateau so late at night, travelling with others, working less at home... Now that we know this and Selamar's comment about Natty, makes me wonder what really is going on there. Everyone in chateau seemed so happy on vlogs, but I guess it is all just a facade.
I hope Dan can find his way out of there. It's clearly not the healthiest environment.

Ok lot to catch up on. I would like to repeat my comments from 28 Dec and 30 Dec- Annaleise will return to UK with boys with or without Dan by summer 2022. I hope she takes her oversized chandelier.

I am not surprised by end of relationship. Inadvertently Dan had displayed who was the alpha in their relationship - HIM. He decided everything- layout of kitchen, whether to buy a flowerpot, direction of their channel, order of renovation of their dump (sorry to offend but one big wind or wolf will blow that place down). A reminder of the state of their yard - rubbish, an old blue couch strewn across the dump site. And he spent money on himself a lot - he bought the updated camera or drone, then did his daily vlogs “to pay for it”. Buying himself unneeded glasses to “look cool”. When you have a shack of a home and 2 kids, a decrepit van - all your money goes on kids.
Dan’s insincerity was ripe - side shots of his ear (WTF), Philip set the table with Freak’s flowers - how f***en ridiculous.
Why did Dan speak now? IMHO because Annaleise said no more filming of her (if not the boys). And/or a relationship will be revealed/can no longer be contained.

I completely agree, little kids need constant attention. The chateau is no place for an unsupervised child. Neither is a workshop, or the roadside or riding in a van while dad is driving & droning. The chateau also has a sad history with the moat. Don’t bring your kids to “work”, if you can’t give them your full attention.

Yes, Yes, and Yes. He is blessed with those two very smart fellows, and he is so full of himself and his goals, that it seems that he ignores their safety most of the time. Perhaps it is a very good thing that Annaliese will be the chief parent....at least I hope that she will. Dan has an itch in his nether regions Sick jerk. Anneliese is a beautiful woman He is an weird, homely git. He was way below his level with her. Thankful she can get away from him. So, if in 20 years the boys read this, and I doubt that it will still be around, they will see what a self serving creep he was and is. Never got loving vibes from him toward his family at all. Perhaps he did want to take her to Venice as a last attempt to patch things up? Maybe Annlise was the one who wanted out of their relationship or is it only ever men who walk away in Tattleland? You are right. I have been outspoken in my shock that he messed up his life with a loving, beautiful woman. But then again I hope that it will be that she builds a much happier, and better life with out him.

Why didn’t SJ make a Patreon “support” video when her ex fake boyfriend Michael released his “coming out” crying vlog? Or when Michael called out Angel Strawbridge for stealing his wallpaper design? You’re right…She’s only made this Dan and Annalise support video because she knows she can milk this drama for her own benefit. Disgusting witch.

He'll have had 2 cameras set up. One for the front facing view and one for the side shots. Why not just sit in his room ( wherever that is) and do a normal video with no fancy camera angles. He's thought out the whole technical side of his production, someone has placed the flowers in shot ( maybe a dig at FRK) and He's sat in the heart of the Shittoo, the kitchen. Although the content was about endings I got the feeling Dan was all about beginnings.

Oh yes he is off and running, and it appears he has been for some time UGH!

That “Support Dan and Annalise” Patreon video by her royal lowness, Stephanie Jarvis of Chateau de Lalande was so….what’s the word?….superfluous…unnecessary….pointless—-just like that tacky studio Dan built for himself! All SJ wanted to do in that Patreon video was to showcase how marvelous, awesome, kind and generous a human being she and being self-appointed queen of the Lalande cool kids, have a “say” in the matter.

Unfortunately for D and A, things will get uglier before things get pretty again, especially for D being the public face of that family. They have already lost a lot of patrons.

Absolutely disgusting for SJ to make this video. Making something her business when it’s not.

I’m also getting tired of these “coming clean” videos. We’ve seen three of them from Michael Petherick, and now we have one from Dan (let’s hope Dan doesn’t make it a habit like Michael). I do think that Dan could have handled the announcement better, and I agree that the past 6 months have been deceptive. What with the Natty “kaboom” comment from Selmar, Selmar and Taty leaving, FRK leaving, Michael self destructing, and Dan’s divorce…the “live, love, laughter” is image is cracked. I’m thinking Billy handled his AWOL scandal the smartest…he completely ignored it!

And yet....... old fan keeps smiling through!
