Looking forward to her getting a “surprise” upgrade for everything
If the honking, snorting adopted child gets an airline upgrade I swear I’ll track him down for a feature story in ‘Rags to Riches‘ ( imaginary) Magazine.
From talentless Workaway with not a cent or achievement to his name to the ‘WE’ in a chateau, appearances on British TV and all the while honking like a goose and laughing like a rabid hyena on a popular YouTube channel. A man in the bed of and speaking on behalf of a woman who’s his mothers contemporary. The most over rewarded, microphone hogging, iPhone wielding femboy in the Chateaverse.

I got caught up with Christmas food orders and didn't keep up here. Every time I popped over to checked in there were 2 more threads I hadn’t read! I’m skimming through and see that the downstairs loo was finally finished, the paneling is garbage, Dan kinda had his study in order, and pretty much everyone has low key has COVID. I have been trying to keep up with the vlogs from Chateau de la Coutere. Leeann actually respond and remembers my real name (my YouTube name is completely different). Her hubby can actually do renovations. They have genuine talent and I can’t figure out why they don’t have more followers. Someone recommended in the comments that she join forces with SJ to boost views and I had a slow motion “Nooooooooo!” come out of my mouth. Stay far, far, away! I love that Chateau de la Coutere is using their garden as a market garden and not just some half ass ornamental garden that they may or may not get a handful of carrots out of. Lalande’s garden makes me cringe, there is so much wasted space!

Yes it was a sign of poverty to have lobster sandwiches at school for lunch. I had heard many stories of older generations being very embarrassed. They envied the kids with peanut butter sandwiches. To think now it is so expensive and a treat for most. I had the experience of making shish kebabs served with pita & tzatziki sauce. Rudely an aunt and uncle refused to eat it. They eventually tried it and loved it. I was brought up eating everything but I hated pea soup. Thought it was funny to eat tongue & boudin. Which I no longer eat and draw the line at organ meats and pork hocks.
Yes I knew that Steve and Sarah lived in Fergus. I wondered if she was originally from Ontario. Someone had mentioned the possibility that she may be from out west. Does she have an Ontario accent?

I had a quick look at the houses that he found. All of them are in Mayenne, a poor region with no industry no jobs no tourism no beautiful landscapes or any heritage.

The houses he shows in his videos are all in the middle of nowhere, in tiny hamlets or small rural and half dying towns or are (real) farmhouses.

What could a 25 year-old jobless man do in these areas ?

A business wouldn't survive. Gites wouldn't atttact any tourists.

I wouldn't buy any of these. Even at the price they are.

But each to their own.

By the way, I am sure I know which name SJ uses here. Don't worry dear, I won't out you.

It's more like a lot of times when he's had to look after the kids before, there's been a lot of huffing and puffing and eye-rolling. I'm a patron so I do admire them as a couple, but it appears that lately Dan would rather be off doing other exciting and sometimes secret stuff.

probably not that secret from his family. It wonderful that annalise has this new job, she will be able to make some great contacts and friends not to mention a great opportunity to practice her french

Perhaps SJ and Lalande will take this seriously now.
Woah, I have never heard of them. What did they do to themselves? I wouldn't be surprised if there was more to their death than just covid. Down the rabbit hole to find out more about them.

So I see Annalise has got herself a job four days a week working at a school? Good for her. Now Dan will have to step up his parental responsibilities.
lets not forget that providing an income is also a parental responsibility.....

My Husband has a Babaco tree and very proud of the fruit but I can't bring myself to try it. It just looks yuck when cut open. Luckily my best friend loves them so we are giving her the excess!
When my husband moved for a job and I had to stay back and prepare and sell house I had chicken every second night (as I was only eating from a big freezer) When I did move to join him I couldn't eat chicken again for about a year!
We are thinking of moving again so have talked my husband into not buying anymore meat (he does grocery shopping) so we can use all the meat in the freezer. This time there is more pork than anything else and I getting so over it.

Looking at this conversely, it could be said that Annalise is stepping up to her share of the financial responsibilities too. It works both ways.
I'd say it's her taking opportunities, same as Dan

So strange. Was that a cry for help? Selmer responded by looking clueless as usual

I used to think there was no way SJ would venture anywhere near an itinerant, barely literate caravan dweller with bad teeth, but her taste in men has been shown to be well below any standard I ever set myself. So, perhaps you’re right. There’s more than enough alcohol drunk at that chateau for any amount of indiscriminate, off message bonking to go on

People are strange eh?! Shish kebabs are just bbq meat, pita is bread and tzatziki garlic/cucumber/yougurt-sourcream! I used to love chicken hearts but would not eat tongue or liver. None of it now.
I feel like her accent sounds country/rural but I'm not entirely sure if it's Ontario or further west. I am sure that someone else will remember.
