I didn’t hear the exact quote but they are probably arguing on same points of law (like article 2 and 8 from human rights act) and they will use judgements from previous cases to support their submission. The court found it lawful to withdraw Charlie Gard’s life support so the barristers for Archie / Hospital probably have stuff from a Charlie’s case they can use about best interests etc.

Makes you wonder if this is being dragged out purely to prolong the inevitable investigation...

I never realised how noisy playing with duplo is until my kids decided to tip it all out just as this started. I can't hear a thing

My four year old has his music on and just generally very distracting and appeal cases are difficult to follow as it is because they getting into the nitty gritty technicalities of law rather than evidence and statements. I don’t think we stand a chance 😂

Does anyone know of any cases where the parents actually won?

e.g made it all the way to surpreme/human rights and then won?

Won as in they got to keep a severely brain-damaged and completely incapable child alive with a terrible quality of life ? I'm not sure that's winning, and I really hope the answer for more learned posters is "no".

I hate how this guy... TALKING... keeps doing this... THING... where he speaks in very... SHORT... segments while emphasising every... FEW words.
