The irony is that the way she is pushing she is going to end up with even less rights if her balls does get taken on board by any politician and wrapped up in the online safety bill. We will end up with a dystopian world with more internet restrictions than North Korea at this rate. We have already seen massive restrictions in what can be shown in the U.K. porn industry because of people getting “unrealistic” ideas of what a loving consensual relationship is all about. So good old fisting got banned along with a load of other stuff.Sorry I’ve only just come back to this thread after finally having the guts to be active on others I feel strongly about! (I’ve commenced my slippery slope) This is the first I followed avidly from #1 and can’t believe I’ve got so much to catch up on!
Could it be (and sorry if this is mentioned later on…) that HD and cronies have caught on that their time would be better spent raising awareness of the dangers of online challenges (child mental health would be a stretch, as it could raise questions over the clearly evidenced substandard parenting) and have realised this angle may garner more favour in the court of public opinion, and keep them in the public eye? As it’s finally become clear that the “Archie’s law” or “Archie’s Armee Law” or “Kidz dey lick” law was complete BS and would likely give parents even less “rights” (that never existed anyway). So someone mildly more educated than them pointed this out and they’ve finally taken note?
I’m sure Hollie will be really popular when people realise she has screwed everybody out of their free speech and freedom of expression over a fabrication made to make her feel less guilty.
