Haven’t posted on this thread yet, but have been reading through these threads with actual horror. This case scares me for so many reasons. 1) I had a daughter in Icu on a vent with catastrophic brain damage. As soon as we were told we could let her go peacefully, or wait for her to go into (another) cardiac arrest, which would potentially break her ribs if they tried cpr and would be an all round horrendous experience, the sight of her tiny body on the oscillating vent was enough for me to want to end her suffering right then. The drs and nurses were distraught and I fully believe they tried everything but ultimately, we had a tiny little girl whose brain damage was such, and whose suffering was so apparent - there was only one decision and we let her go. I can’t imagine keeping her going for months, and these cases do make you question Everything.
2) I have a son with ADHD and am a SEND learning support assistant. I thought I understood SEND but ADHD is a whole other poorly understood issue. We understand autism, physical disabilities, mutism - but I never knew the emotional turmoil that ADHD could cause for the child, the inability to make decisions or cope with choice. The outbursts, the poor self esteem. Of course every child is different but it seems that Archie definitely fit the typical -as I understand and have experienced it - profile and he reminds me so much of my little boy. He’s only 8 but I worry about him all the time and spend my life trying to help him understand himself, to make sure he has support in school, hovering over him until he learns to control his impulses. The general understanding and acceptance of ADHD just isn’t there yet sadly and I can see how a little boy could lose his way and end up like Archie.

I have been incensed with this digsusting fiasco since I first found out there was far more to this story than the media were making out, their coverage has been a disgrace. I was so relieved to find this thread and know that there were other people out there who felt the same as I did.

I've just emailed Southend council to tell them what I think about them allowing that vigil to go ahead with balloons, tea lights, candles, flares etc. I'm sick of gobby wasters like Hollie Dance and her ilk constantly shouting their mouths off and wanted to make my voice heard.

There aren't even words so I won't try, I just hope you've found some degree of peace.

As for HD..... Things that bug me:
A) Archie and the eye drops - prescriptions are checked twice before being released, sure mistakes happen but it's weird hoe many things happen to HD and it's odd that a parent didn't check the prescription herself. I just checked mine, do you know how easy it is to switch labels? Turns out it is really easy. I wonder how much she got for an out of court settlement.
B) As a parent, if ever I saw glass, I told my kids to stay the hell away from it, there was no wandering near messed up telephone boxes, it simply did not happen. Broken glass on the ground from a bottle is one thing but a telephone box is pretty big and you'd have to be walking right next to it, wouldn't take much to make a little kid fall over. How much did she end up with from that?

Let's face it, we only know of incidents that have ended up in the paper.

C) Lauren has ended up in the paper twice due to mysterious assaults by mysterious blokes. What's going on there?

The end result is:

3 Kids in the paper a total of 5 times for injuries due to others in the space of 20 years.
One of those ending in death.
Two of those caused by assault.

Mother in paper fuck knows how many times:
Poledancing
Streaking
ABH
Assault
Archie

WTF?

So I’ve just found out the disrespectful and selfish people who attended the attention seeking show last night did cause damage! They literally applied graffiti to the memorial trees, all of them are full up with shit and they also contain either coloured spray over the bark or chalk drawings and wording. What utter scum. To some people they might be the only place they can feel like they are with their loved one and they have vandalised them.
This wasn’t reported was it?! No of course not! This whole thing was portrayed to be an amazing vigil, when in fact no regard was paid to anything other than her needs for fame and to look like an amazing grieving Mum of the year!

I’ve just seen a comment someone made on a post and in 3 words they have nailed it. This absolutely explains the whole reason of the attention seeking circus she has made. ‘Deflection of neglect’. We should make it a hashtag and tag her in it!!

I think this was the old house? Hollie posted this today in her memories 💔

Edit- or it could have been before they removed the spindles as the stairs do look similar
Does anyone else find it bizarre that she’s posting a picture of her boy hanging next to a stair case given the circumstances of his death? I’d think it would be so triggering for her, flashback style

I'm not being funny but judging by recent photos of Archie (plus the fact he was a teen boy), I can't really imagine a ton of purple balloons, teddies and twinkly tea lights is really in his fucking name is it? How about you remember your child in a way that actually has something, ANYthing to do with him. Just another edition of the Hollie show.

Tattle is literally a gossip forum!
Complaining about people "speculating" 😱 on Tattle is like complaining that people are selling second hand crap on eBay. 🙄

I actually don’t think that he was neglected as such, I think he was crippled by Hollies reliance on him, her expectations of him, the toxic masculinity and toxic environment. She bragged about him, used him as her prop and puppet, she was shaping him into what she wanted him to be.
“Come on Arch, your the man of the house, be a man. Are you a man or a little girl?…
You’re going to be good to women not like all those other arsehole men.You won’t be like that will you Arch, you’re a good boy…
Mummy needs a cuddle, come and give mummy a cuddle. You’ll always take care of Mum won’t you Arch, you love me don’t you? We don’t need anyone else…
Let’s get you fighting, you’re a man now, need to stand up for yourself, the worlds not going to give you a living, you need to take it, fight for it….
Sone fellas went after your sister, Me and your Dad will sort it, ask no questions, they’ll get what’s coming to them….
No Arch, Mum’s working, close the door, you know I haven’t got time right now. That’s adult stuff, not for you”
Speculation but that’s the impression I get. You see it all the time. Parent relying heavily on their kid, living through them. The pressure on a young lad, no wonder he’d be mixed up.

I think it's quite telling that so many people who have had terrible experiences have come on here to comment and not one person has said that they understand HD's behaviours and fully empathise with the way that she's handling the loss of her son.. Or not handling it as the case may be..More blocking it out. She's in no position to seek MH help from the NHS though should she admit to needing it..and the PTSD hints have dried up.

I would dread having to try to engage with her if I were a therapist.
Whe I think of all the horrific things that have happened to people that simply haven't garnered as much publicity as that foul woman it makes me angry.

The couple who lost their baby (theyd been trying to have him for 5 years) to the dementia driver - got a little bit of a mention, they actually work on making roads safer for people by printing in rules to for people over 70 to have more regular checks for driving etc and they set up a charity. You would have thought they deserved a bit more press coverage......

The Rotherham child grooming sex ring scandal: fucking horrific.... what's worse, the girls who were pregnant were taken back to court to allow the fathers visitation rights to the kids. In other words, the rapists of these girls get access to their kids. The girls with help from others are trying to overturn this bullshittery (it happens to DA, rape etc victims) where kids are effectively to known, violent, rapist, bustards for visits. You would have thought this deserves more attention and funding than it gets.

The case of women escaping DA situations that have their children removed by social services because they don't believe its safe due to the previous DA situation. One woman had her baby fostered on to a mother who killed the baby. So these women who think they've escaped only to go on and get shit from social services. Couldn't make it up..... again, little airtime or funding.

Then you have the dignified families who are just going through the deaths of loved ones, no matter the occur, in private and doing the best they can, raising awareness and doing charity things without shoving it in your face.

Then you have HD, known drug user, known for assaults, yadda yadda yadda, has totally flaunted her son for money, continues to do so, for what reason, fuck knows because its only bullcrap coming out of her mouth. Why does she get so much airtime when all these others don't? Why does she get to keep her kids considering who she is when others don't, why is her cause so much more important that the kids of rapists being forced to endure time with rapist asshole dad's who like to rape children?

No, the system isn't fair HD, but then most ppl won't use their dead kid to gain notoriety and fill up their personal bank balance.

Archie’s ‘girlfriend’.
They’ve already used a pre-teen to maximum advantage so this shouldn’t be a surprise but does the girl have to be lumbered with this? And I don’t just mean the teddy.
Archie’s beating heart sound in a teddy bear!

All these comments on Archie - seriously! Maybe he wasn't an angel, but is that hardly surprising? He didn't stand a chance of normality from the day he was born. I can't believe some of the comments on here insinuating that he possibly wasn't a very nice kid. So what??? Does that not make this whole god awful situation even more tragic?

He killed himself. He was so disillusioned with life, this young 'thug' of a lad, that he killed himself.

Just think about how hopeless he must have felt to do what he did. Given a wide berth and isolated because he was seen to be trouble /troubled. I want to go back in time, take hold of that boy when he was a baby and show him a different life full of love and stability. Just think what he could have achieved, what he could have been like, had he been born to decent parents.

Absolutely fucking waste of a precious life.

On another GRUESOME note.
The heart beat recording in the bear was likely taken when Archie was brain dead and on life support.
Most near-teenage girls would find that a bit gross.
(If that’s how these bear things work.)
