We are each entitled to believe what we want I don't worship the NHS - it is so incompetent it's always involved in serious case reviews, in court for neglect, many staff are struck off and imprisoned for abuse of the vulnerable. The most over represented group who also joined the fastest were Drs in the Nazi party and we all know how T4 turned out.
You can both not "worship" the NHS and also accept that Archie's healthcare team gave him exemplery care. He wouldn't have survived so long if they hadn't.

There is no rational argument for them wanting to withdraw life support for reasons that weren't in his best interests. Money - plenty of patients remain in ICU for longer if they have a chance of recovery. Organs - HD had said no and they would be non-viable by now anyway.

I won't get into a debate about your last two points, as they seem like a massive swerve 😬

The DHSS or whatever it's called these days will be taking a close look at her benefits now that she has X grand via GFM.

I bet it gets spent pretty quickly.
That'll be the DWP. If you have savings and then spend some/all of it, they can ask you how you spent the money in case it was done so as to increase benefits (depravation of assets).

Does it have evidence to go with it though? Most things here have been grabs without any evidence or even a poster's name. I prefer to wait to see the outcome if half the things people are saying are true, then something will be done about it.
They have all the evidence. Compared to there, this thread is an absolute shitshow.

Is this supposed to be an insult? I take it as flattery - I am nothing to do with them. You can't change my mind, they are my opinions, they were formed over years of data analysis and I think they are correct or they would not be my opinions - they would be your opinions - which I don't stare because they make zero logical sense to me.

Have a nice life, especially when in hospital near the end!
What kind of "data analysis"? And the research questions was what?

If your own - where were you getting data from, statistical methods, where was it disseminated? etc etc

In fact right at this moment someone over there is getting upset that they’ve been asked to provide proof for their posts, instead of everyone just replying “ZOMG really?!?!?! thats discusting!!1!!!”

Have people seen the picture of Hollie kissing him being used for news articles?

I wonder who made that choice because it feels very… tabloid-y. Also a bit of a throwback to her saying she would breathe into his mouth or something

Jeez the number of posts we get with a screenshot of someone saying "I live in southend and have insider info that he tried the day before" when the family said that in an interview so it's common knowledge 🙃

My mother spent 3 weeks in hospital from until 20.1.22 when she passed away unfortunately due to covid rules we didn’t see her until the last day when she was already unconscious.after she passed my sister wanted to see the notes as they had said a few times they were trying to send her to a local hospital for respite care. Each time they couldn’t find a place or her condition worsened. They sent us a copy of the notes and every single thing was noted in them
It was sad but they did their very best for her

my six year old granddaughter is under the Evelina for a bladder problem and they too are wonderful.

Sometimes it’s best to say nothing. This is from the MP supporting the family.

Hollie is a courageous and brave parent.

“She exemplified the power of motherhood and that innate drive to protect our loved ones and fight for them until the very end.

I swear that MP is going to regret those words when that duck load of coke comes out in the press

In the early stages after the incident his mother said that he might have been taking part in a TikTok challenge. Not that he was. This was jumped on by some eager journalists and thickos on social media as 'proof' that the incident was definitely caused by Archie doing a TikTok challenge and this theory took on a life of its own. There are still comments in the Telegraph, for example, along the lines that social media challenges have a lot to answer for and so on.

ITV's This Morning reported that Archie had been doing a TikTok challenge and they had to apologise for the gaffe.

Whilst reporting on This Mornings error Essex Live is now stating Archie was in an induced coma. What is the matter with journalists? Can they just stop making things up?

For the people questioning about the 15 minutes between Archie being taken off the ventilator, and him being pronounced dead.....having witnessed my dad dying recently, it takes the doctor a full 10 minutes of listening to the heart after the last breath before they can declare a person dead. They time those 10 minutes & don't stop listening until the times up. So in essence, Archie more likely died within the first 5 minutes of the ventilator being removed, the other 10 minutes was nothing more than the doctor verifying it.

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick but what has the second largest terminal at Heathrow Airport got to do with any of this 🤔.

Also where do you access you healthcare?
