Oh lord George showing his true colours again re Amber. Wanting her to be a trad wife, ignoring her ideas and putting her down over the Borchester Show promotion, announcing he wants the baby to be called Brad.
Only a matter of time before she's with Brad.

So St George of Ambridge has crashed and burned in a matter of weeks. Can’t say I’m unhappy about this, George Grundy is pretty much the beating heart of the village of Ambridge these days.. [said in the sense of he’s pretty much involved in many storylines] .. So .. hands up those who want to listen to a reformed kind-hearted George.
Emm.. though so 😉

So what next, seem to recall Brian wrote a cheque for the £2000 he ‘invested’ in George’s drone business, so there’s a paper trail. And as early as the end of next week there is going to be the long awaited meeting of the Home Farm Board to discuss the way forward.
As we all know Adam is privy to the Home Farm accounts 💥

The ultimate ‘up yours’ ..

Carol Tregorran to daughter Anna after being offered the choice of pie or lasagna for dinner”
“I’d rather have custard creams”.

OK .. my advice to Anna is .. ask her again and if the reply is the same take away the option and head off out to buy said custard creams, make sure you get the supermarket ‘value’ custard creams, none of those deluxe versions double-wrapped in chocolate with extra creamy filling.

I really struggle to listen to the Carol stuff. Apologies to the actress but I don't like her 'breathy' voice.

It used to be Eleanor Bron a few years ago and I liked her. But this recent one just seems horrible (not the actress) - they've changed her character from a bit odd and witchy to just disagreeable.

Struggle is an understatement Carol will be booking the Dignitas express if that Lennard offers another once of understanding they all want her to exchange Lemon Drizzle for Lemon Piddle at The Laurels. Lennard can get another job at The Laurels his over caring will soon move the bed blockers on to the happy hunting grounds.

What happened with the storyline of Leonard meeting up with random women in the garden centre?? I have no recollection of how it ended and it’s driving me crazy

It turned out she was the wife of an old friend (I think?) who had asked Leonard to interior design her house. He had done the two Brookfield bedrooms when they were a b & b for five minutes.
(It was all just a plot to show up Ruth's nosiness and how she gossiped as Leonard told her to keep her nose out of his business 😂).

Ooh I wonder if Adam will now go to the police about Ruari hitting George over the head - and Brian's involvement?
Brian saying he and Debbie weren't his children seems irreparable I would have thought.

Wow .. what an episode .. “let it all hang out” finally happens after years of us wanting it to.
What now .. seems Brian is the only one checking in for a shift at Home Farm tomorrow, who is he drafting in to help him out. Definitely not Stella, the only person in the village fit for purpose. A row of telegraph poles appeared in my head when Stella absolutely refused to ever work for him again after he fired her (subsequently withdrawn) a couple of years back. TA are masters at letting it lie only for it to re-emerge at an appropriate moment.

Realised after today’s ep that Kate is my favourite character. I know she’s woo woo and was a total cat about home farm being sold and has questionable parenting skills but I just love her. She was so sweet with Kirsty. Totally non judgemental when she asked if it was Erik’s and so caring and supportive. Loved it. The actress that plays Kirsty is great too. Had me welling up.

She’s good entertainment, even when she’s being exasperating.
Also, she’s proving to be a far better friend to Kirsty over the pregnancy than her supposed actual friend Helen.
