On sounds - drama on radio 4 "victory at Ambridge" came across it by accident, and am really enjoying it so far

We're suddenly hearing a lot from Bert Horrobin, I can't remember the last time he spoke!
He never has and I really wish he didn’t now. I hope it is because he is on his way out rather than another scummy character
Just had a thought if Bert was to find Brian’s disregarded bottle of aftershave in a skip and after a few squirts he might not be so scummy!! once George gets a whiff it would confuse the situation even further .

What a revelation that Chelsea is allowing the universe to determine her decision making this must be Special relativity, I hope it doesn’t all end in tears as her dads birth planet is Uranus, once Tracy finds out she will definitely go Supernova ,Dennis the Menace returns to planet Ambridge!
Wierd how this new customer never knew Chelsea's surname was Horrobin.

Wouldn’t mind a bit of school drama with Natasha. Actually really like Natasha as a character. She brings a bit of silly drama. Also enjoying her and Tom feeling the squeeze. Love how pretentious Tom has always been about his entrepreneurial skills and how it’s all crashing down. I like the other mum suggesting Natasha get the uniform from second hand option and how horrified she was.

It seems the storyline writers have finally remembered Natasha’s money issues. Years ago when she first met Tom I thought that was going to be a massive story but it just disappeared.
I don't get how they are so strapped for cash? Over extended buying the house? (As well as Natasha's expensive tastes).
I hope Natasha’s spending will be a nice slow burn like Alice’s alcoholism. They dropped hints about it for years before it went anywhere.
Yes they did .. I can remember Alice ordering double G&Ts in The Bull [before she was even married to Chris] and nobody said a word. The story of Alice’s alcoholicism is never going away, quite right too, there is no such thing as an ex alcoholic.
