The thing with Anna is that she really needs a complete style overhaul, starting with the hair. She has a round face shape and would look really good with a style like this. I don’t think it’s very flattering to scrape your hair back from your face in the way that she does. However, with this style, she could easily wear her hair up and the fringe would make the style look less harsh. With her current style, I feel as though she only chose it because “lobs” are trendy, rather than it actually suiting her.

The same applies with the laminated brows. They really don’t suit her face at all as they dominate her features. That being said, I don’t think they look very good on anyone. Look at this poor Cosmo journalist who tried it. 😬 I believe Anna did it because it’s the latest fad.

With the way that she dresses, she doesn’t dress for her body shape. I am pear shaped myself and I have learned that I cannot wear oversized styles on the top as it swamps my frame. I’ve also learned that I cannot wear the beautiful prairie tiered style dresses and skirts in fashion as they add the WRONG type of definition to the bottom half of my body. Anna would do well to not wear things just because they are in the fashion magazines.

I hope she doesn't succumb to the typical ain't trends. Window shopping on Rightmove makes me realised that you don't need Hague Blue/ Devol Kitchen to make your house look nice, sometimes is just some personal touch that makes it look cosy. The photographer that the listing company hired did a great job
Agreed, it’s getting quite dull seeing kitchen after kitchen with dark blue cabinets and white countertops!

I absolutely LOVE the pale blue in their hallway. Makes such a change from Hague Blue.

I really enjoyed my rabbit-hope trip on Rightmove. So many beautiful flats I can never afford but many that had different colours in each room. Can’t wait for Hague Blue to die a death.

Looked through the photos again, and it really is a very nicely done flat. I’m sure Anna will be feeling quite sad to leave it. She seems to have appreciated it very much as a first home.

I’m really quite amazed that they managed to hold their wedding reception in it, though! I remember that from back in the day, as Anna was married about a month after me, and I was intrigued to watch her talk about her wedding. I know they only had a small number of guests compared to most, but still! Hope they either warned or invited the downstairs neighbour 😜

She must earn a fortune if they can afford to get another mortgage on her salary alone. I'm right in thinking that Mark quit his job to go back to university/become her lackey, didn't he?

I couldn’t find it for ages either, and I have super online detective skills 😂 it’s because it doesn’t look like flats at all. I was actually quite disappointed by the outside! Compared to the inside, which is beautiful.

It scrolled through 14 pages and looked at ones that thought were a possibility and then gave up

can we play a game to guess how much will her new house cost? anyone familiar with Hove?
They will obviously up the number of bedrooms if they’re moving from a two-bed within walking distance from a station on the London commuter line. Assuming they’re staying in Brighton and Hove, a three-bed with a good sized garden they are looking at upwards of £450,000 I would think. If anything, the fact they had their flat on at £400,000 gives us a clue.

Hove is the ‘posh’ part of Brighton!

Yes, but they had a pretty big flat, so the house would probably be a big three bed, or maybe a four bed. Anna will look at Lily’s house, where downstairs is huge, but upstairs is quite small and will try to get something more sensible in the long run.

Lily's was £700k wasn't it? So I would guess Anna's to be maybe around the £500-600k mark since she's not in London, maybe on the lower side if it's a fixer-upper.

As someone from central Scotland, house prices down south baffle me, £375,000 for a 2 bed flat down there gets you like a literal 5/6 bedded detached villa up here, blows my mind

Also Lily's entire renovation was gifted so she definitely could afford to spend more on the actual house

Weird isn't it, don't get me wrong. I am from London when I see what 350k can get in Brighton, it baffles me too 🤪🤪

Just had a look at the range, she can get so many nice properties. My guess is that she will get a Victoria fixed upper, so it can feed into her content

Yes, and I suspect she'll be inspired by people like The Frugality who has an amazing period property with original features to enhance.

Just for clarification, she hasn't announced they're moving yet, has she? I have only been keeping up with this thread and not her videos as they bore me so much.
I'm super excited they might finally buy a house though, her interior content is actually quite interesting (as long as she isn't showing us her bathroom cabinet for the 17th time)! I hope it's a fixer-upper, I love renovation vlogs!

No I don't believe so, people just found that her flat was listed as Sold on RightMove. I guess it could still fall through even.

re: her interior
Contrary to many pupular opinions, I think it was okay, nothing to really shout about. You cannot really go wrong with gray sofa, and her living room furniture is from the same range from gifted Westelm. Tbh, I think is quite hard to duck up WestElm furniture, they are almost made to go along with each other. Therefore, her interior is okay because she did not inject any bold choices, so chances to duck up is low. Would love to see how she play around with furniture in her new home, but somehow they will get #gifted #smallprdiscount so the range they can play around is huge.
