just listening to the podcast and Anna is saying that she had envisioned having a baby by 30 but obviously hasn’t. She discusses the pressure that people who don’t have children can feel from others.
So, this might not be a shared opinion, but I think there’s less pressure to have a kid now than like 10 years ago - between the expense of raising a kid, the “millennials are selfish” trope (I am one, it’s cool), the current state of the world and how we don’t want to turn into our parents. Obviously other countries might be different. I think the “pressure“ she talks about is from her followers, who also follow Lily, and probably imagine this “omg their kids are growing up together how cute” lifestyle. Also, if her followers are from all over the world, there are bound to be some from cultures that do see having a child as the ultimate goal.I might look her up! I guess also she has mentioned wanting kids at some point in her previous videos, so it’s just natural to wonder when is it going to happen.
I don’t see Kate la Vie/Brittany Bathgate/Lizzy from Shot from the street talking about kids so people don’t ask them that much or don’t ask at all so they might feel less pressure.
Oh definitely! People are definitely having children later than our parents may have. Personally, I wanted to be finished having children by 30 but so many haven’t even started by then. I had my last a month after my 30th so planned that well
I have never been one to have a life plan or that highly organised, but I feel like I can't have a child before I get my house for some reason - and it's not pressure from anyone, actually everyone in my life even parents told me to just have a child whenever I feel like having one and I am ready.
The only difference is that I need quite a bit of time to save for a deposit while I am sure Anna could literally have a deposit ready just by doing a few sponsorships... so I don't know what they are waiting for, I am sure they have more than enough to go ahead. Especially as they own the current apartment as well so they will probably sell/rent that as well.

They might just enjoy being a couple and want to make the most of their curated tidy house and their freedom before they start trying. I also remember her mentioning wanting to have a child in the future but she hardly mentioned a deadline. I don't find the absence of a baby announcement strange at all.
She might also be having trouble conceiving but she doesn’t want to talk about it
Same! I’m a tiny bit older than Anna and barely any of my friends have children, even if they’ve been coupled up for years.
I think the worst part is that the bought the 50 pound cycling shorts originally 'to only wear at home and not in public'. She spends insane amounts of money on clothes to wear just in the house.So yesterday she showed us a £50 pair of cycling shorts and today a £275 camisole. I probably don’t even spend that much on clothes in a whole year. How can she say she has a capsule wardrobe

Has anyone tried Anna's cookie recipe? I am tempted to try it because people keep banging on about it but I know that it could just be influencer hype and I don't want to waste ingredients on a bad cookie recipe.
