It’s all work related, and makes no sense as I keep getting really good feedback from my boss, but I just feel so overwhelmed and like I’m spinning plates at the moment. I’ve tried old CBT worksheets etc, but I just feel like “someone’s going to find out I’m a fraud” or I’m not good enough. Blah.
Does anyone know if electric blankets are safe?! i see them sold a lot so I’m assuming they are and maybe I’m being over cautious but I just want opinions before buying. I live alone in a flat with plug in heaters (woooo renting 🫣🫡) and it can get cold when I’m in bed/waking up because there’s no way I’m plugging in those heaters overnight. might be a stupid question idk
I always use one in winter and have had no issues! Beware you will be addicted to the heat

I've had them since forever and all ok so far
My parents have had them for years an never had a problem, they just need a little while to heat up an it's good, if you are worried about them then maybe just put it on 30mins before you go to bed then it will be ready for when you are in bed an you can switch it off, rather than putting it on in bed an fear falling asleep with it on
Todays blankets are very different from the old ones . You can even wash them in the washing machine.. The old ones you had to be very careful with but not these days.
I have a jumper I really love that is 80% Acrylic and 20% Wool. When i put it on it feels sooo itchy. Does anyone have any tricks to make it not feel so itchy? I have eczema too which probably isn’t helping the situation
Tbh I struggle with wool, and have eczema. I try to stick to cotton and soft acrylic.
Ill have to pay more attention to labels going forward. Such a pain! Thanks for that

does wearing some kind of undershirt help? i have a lovely sweater that i didn’t realise was wool when i got it - i got a long sleeved white basic top from primark to wear under it and that helped me with the itchiness, though i don’t know how it would impact your eczema.
good point, I’ll get a long sleeved t shirt and try it under. Itll be great when it gets a bit colder
It is the executors legal duty to ensure that the will is followed. If the wishes are not outlined in the will then legally there is little that can be done. If you believe the will was not followed you can contest it, within 2 years of death.I don’t know how to word this
One of my grandparents passed away and myself and my sibling were so close to them, more so than their children. They were always worried that once they passed, the children would be money grabbing and throw all of their belongings away (I’ll never let that happen to the best of my ability). We’ve asked our aunties/uncles if we’re going to discuss their wishes together and they said they’re sorting it and sort of excluding us which our grandparent wouldn’t want. I’m concerned that they’re not going to carry out my grandparents wishes and ignore the will. Is it illegal to do so? What can I do to make sure my grandparents wishes are followed?
I stupidly burnt myself on kettle steam at work whilst reaching over for tea bags. My hand was only there for a second but has left a scalding red mark. I ran it under cold water just after but didn't seem to do much, still stinging. What's the best thing for it?

I don’t think you’re supposed to put cold water or cold compress on a steam burn, just tepid water then dry the area and cover it from the air using a dry bandage or cloth.

To google anything like that means it will no doubt diagnose me as almost certainly going to die
Pop to the chemist tomorrow and ask for some burn gel it's fab stuff!
