No, I know that. My postie is a diamond. I just meant that we should be able to refuse it and most people would.
I have a job picking it up and cant have a letterbox cage as my door then won't fully open. it's a pain.

Think you need to chill out mate!! Getting awfully riled up for a few bits of paper.
Me chill out? I'm not the one with the exclamation marks

Put an outside letter box on the wall outside your front door at chest height so you can open it and get your mail without having to bend down, separate any junk mail. Burn junk mail. Sorted.

The post comes at all different times of the day around here, at least the junk mail shows they've been if you've been waiting for something!

Ahh ok. Sorry wasn’t having a go or anything, just didn’t want someone to get the blame who didn’t deserve it, I misunderstood. Yeah, I mean that would be great, and I’m sure most would rather opt out, but it’s just not going to happen. If you have a regular postie, you could just mention that you’d rather not receive it, and could they kindly put that in your recycling instead of through your letterbox for you. Most I imagine would oblige as its 6 of one and half a dozen of another for them, and it would be much more affective than writing to RM. All I know is that they are given what they’re given and they have to clear it.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best scar treatments after having an abdomen incision? Or the best places for information and advice on this? Tia x

Does anyone else get clothes of the washing machine and they have stains on that weren't there when they went in? It only happens to cotton/Jersey tshirts. How do you avoid it?

It's happened with a couple of different washing powders, I might try without fabric softener to see if that makes a difference.

Could it be the door seal? Sometimes softener leaves a scummy residue around the seal and as the washer finishes, the clothes touch it

Maybe the door rubber needs cleaned? Home Bargains sell a machine cleaner/ deodoriser it works well you clean the rubber then put the rest of the powder in an empty machine on a normal cycle.

I’ve had this before with white tops. I think it was the fabric softener. I now use only a small amount and dilute it with water to stop it from staining

I've never noticed it on whites, just coloured tops that are all a similar fabric , so they must be prone to it . I'll try washing them on their own, without softener.

@Purrrrrrr @monga I don't think it's from the door seal cos I wipe round the seal and it only happens on certain cotton tops . I might some of that stuff to clean everything out .

Does anybody have any personal recommendations for online prescription glasses that don’t cost a fortune?

I've used Selectspecs a few times and they are really cheap . They do take a while to arrive in the post .

I've used both GlassesDirect and DirectSight and found them to be really good quality and low prices. Specsavers were extortionate in comparison for the same frames.

Can anyone help me identify the song of one of the Gusto adverts? I know it and I can't place it, and it's bothering me so much .

It's quite rocky and energetic , then there's male vocals right at the end. I asked my husband and he suggested Lenny Kravitz but it's not .

Enola Gay ? (OMD)

There’s a few different snippets of songs in the ad all listed in this link here but the main song is as already posted (Enola Gay)
