Can someone help me what to order for my takeaway?

The options are Wagamama’s

Pros- healthy(ish), cheap including delivery due to discount count code.

Haven’t had it in a while.

Cons- Sometimes feels a bit like one bite and it’s gone.

Local Chinese

Pros- I get three dishes for £15-ish including delivery due to discount code.

I won’t be able to eat it all so I’ll have some left over for tomorrow.

It’s Friday tomorrow so a takeaway is normal

Cons- I’m really hating my body/weight so I do want to be healthy eating so having two chineses in a row will make me feel crap!

Supposed to be travelling tomorrow for a work trip on Tuesday. It’s snowing pretty heavily here (probably enough to shut schools tomorrow but that’s neither here nor there as there’s freezers that operate in warmer conditions than a primary school), but won’t be at my destination as it’s much further south. I’ll have to go on the motorway (could get the train but it’s a faff). Husband is having kittens — am I stupid for attempting to go?!

Does anyone had any ideas or advice for a cat who refuses to wear a collar?! My friend has had her cat for three years, but he’s always been kept inside so she didn’t have a collar on him. She’s now moved to a house with a garden and wants him to be free to roam more but only if he wears a collar. The little devil keeps breaking out of them!

Im on my last thread here, my brother has a lot of specialised educational needs, he cannot read or write, he is partially deaf which affects his understanding but leads a full a adult life, he works and runs a household etc. But through no fault of his own hes being evicted. Ive tried CAB but because where he lives is a a new build they don't recognise they address, I cant put my address. Im at a loss.
How old is he? Is he in supported living?

How’d you deal with people not ever wanting to come to your house and you feel like you’re always going there? 😂

We waited it out because I was a bit pissed off with it (we have a 9month old and 2/nearly 3 year old so it’s not the fastest or hassle free to get out of the house) but it had been over a month since we last saw my parents, who live only a 25min drive away, before they bothered to just come here and my dad was too tired to even come apparently so it was just my mum. And before that I don’t think they’d even been to visit since early September (again just my mum). Could probably count on one hand the amount of times they’ve been to our house in the last year.

Do I just need to start inviting them here more or coming up with reasons why we can’t leave the house? 😂 I’m sure they’d still suggest going there though 🙃
Maybe they are being polite and don't want to impose? Or if they're ageing, maybe they genuinely don't feel up to the journey? Invite them!

We got one gifted to us by a relative. Now, if you dont have small children I bet they're great but we never use it because I have to go around and check theres no toys out/lego, put away the climbing frame and bits, so its easier to get the vaccum out and do that as I go around the room. First World problems 🙈

I haven’t got one but I really want a robot hoover 😂

just got off my holiday there. my shins didn’t tan AT ALL. i tried everything! suncream, water, tanning oil, tanning butter. i was short of rubbing myself in baby oil. everywhere else got a gorgeous color, including my feet and thighs. just not my fucking shins. anyone have any tips or tricks for my next holiday or even a reason why this happened?
Red, or alternatively very pale, shins can be a sign of poor circulation. It doesn't seem to quite line up with not tanning but for lack of a better idea... Do you get your blood pressure checked? Might be worth looking into.

Can anybody recommend a pair of warm but stylish gloves? I get chilblains every year and I’m struggling to find gloves that actually keep my hands warm.

Does anyone have recommendations for nice candles good for a gift, that smell nice but are more of like organic, smaller business place or something less known (thinking not jo malone, white company, neom etc)

A band me and my husband liked in our teens are reforming for a one off gig, he snapped the tickets up and I was like yeah great. Today he tells me the gig is at a student union.. what do I wear as an early 40's woman to a gig at a student union?!.

Although I'm hoping that as it's a reunion gig everyone will be our age 😵💫.

I snore really bad. I’m female, overweight but I do believe it’s genetics too. ANYWAY, I went away with a couple of friends (one of which I’ve never been away with before) earlier in the year. And we warned how bad my snoring is and to bring ear plugs/loops. She didn’t and one night I woke up to her kicking the bed to stop me snoring.
Since then I’ve been really paranoid (even paranoid I’m keeping my housemate away) and really don’t want to go away with anyone because of it.

Maybe i should go to the doctors and look into it a bit more but does anyone have any at home sleeping devices they’ve used that’s helped? Xx

My friend is going away with his partner and needs someone to feed their rabbit. It's only one day I'd have to go but he lives 20 minutes away and is have to go before work. I've done it once before but don't want to get into the habit of doing so. He has a relative that lives a few minutes walk away who'd normally do it but this relative is nosey in the house so he doesn't want him to do it. I did say I'm working so don't really have the time. The first time the relative was away with them so I did it but I don't want to keep doing it if the relative is there to do it.
I'm just hoping if I don't reply for a few days then reply to say I'll do it he'll say don't worry he has asked the relative but if not I'll have to do it then
