Unlikely, there are some rules and dates involved with inheriting. But I can’t remember what years it were. Contact CAB

I was actually just talking about this with my parents, I think they need to have named the other as a beneficial in a will other wise there may not be anything you can do

when my grandfather died, his state pension was automatically transferred to my grandmother. It was simply a matter of calling up a pension number to inform them of his death and they advised it would transfer to my grandmother. I think it’s straightforward if it’s a spouse. For a next of kin it might be trickier.

i expect a state pension can be transferred over if the individual who died, built up enough state pension via NI contributions. The pension number is 0800 731 0469

How easy is it to be refunded? Are they gonna want me to file a police report (my old work did), or will they just refund me? I’m so annoyed. I’ve been home all day, no knock. Was only when I checked my iPad this evening I’ve seen that it was ‘delivered’.

Hoping someone here knows the name of a backpack/handbag/purse brand…

I got a colleague for secret Santa in work and I know there’s a specific brand that she likes. She showed it to me one day and I remember thinking ‘should bookmark that in case I get her for secret Santa’ but obviously I didn’t so here I am!

I’m in my late 20s and remember this brand being around during my primary/secondary school days. It has very distinct branding, with black and purple tones and possible some sort of trees or cherry blossoms on? I am pretty sure it has a black haired young girl on it also, I’d consider it a kind of manga/anime inspired brand. They do backpacks, handbags, purses, pencil cases, coin pouches…. It’s the kind of thing I think would have been in Claire’s Accessories back in the day.

I’ve spent ages googling tonight but can’t find anything, I can almost picture it in my brain, I know once I see it I’ll recognise it….

I can picture this, but I just can't put a name to it. I did a local artist project in a school once and we wrote to this artist and she sent us some goodies. I cannot remember for the life of me! I'll keep trying.

Yeah that’s what they did to me, I waited 4 days being told wait till x day then got annoyed and called instead as I was fed uo of being told stuff on chat and no one helping me. Person on the phone said they won’t help investigate without a police report it’s a joke especially this time of year they know thieves will take any opportunity to steal parcels if they see them you’d think they’d be more willing to refund/resend/investigate better

Was it Blythe Doll? There was a lot of that merchandise around in the early 2000s

I bought a jumpsuit and wore it once and the seam has ripped/come apart in the front under the bust. It happened as I was pulling it down to take it off (it has no zip). Is it cheeky to take it back to the shop for being faulty or is it my fault it ripped? It's quite noticeable.

Could have been faulty, unless you intentionally pulled roughly with it then it shouldn't have burst, I'd take it back an just explain that it ripped

Not cheeky, unless it was extremaly cheap you’d expect it to last more than one wear and even then to withstand one fullwear. Unless it was way too small and forced, it’s a production error or of such poor quality it’s not fit for purpose.

I'm kind of 'over' my relationship atm but is it too mean to have a chat about it before christmas ? I'm not sure if he's aware of my feelings at all but I guess if he doesn't see it that's part of the problem.

I've also never done this before so have no idea how to approach it.

I don't know if it's necessarily a break up but I'm not happy with how things are. For context we're both in our 20s and live at our family homes so I guess the 'stakes' aren't that high if that makes sense.
