Are his teeth ok? Bunnies are meant to chew a lot but a change could indicate something is wrong
His teeth are fine, his 6 month check up was just 2 weeks ago an he got the all clear, he always has plenty to chew on including a daily hay refill, he just seems to want to be destructive when he's in his pen, it's not small either so it can't be because of that, he's plenty room to run an jump inside it

Was hoping I could find something that will keep his attention an destructive on while I sleep or have to go to the shops etc

Just need some advice from some knowledgeable people! Friends and Google don't seem to have a consistent answer.
We are taking our 3 children out of school in May for a 2 week holiday. I know we will get fined but I just want to know how much that could be. Is it £60 per adult, per child, per week? (Seems a bit excessive 😠)

Kids are currently on 97% attendance. 3 days off for illness. I know this won't make any difference but for reference.

First holiday in 10 years so not as if it's a regular occurrence.

Anyone know?

I got blood tests done two weeks ago & I still haven’t heard anything. I rang the doctor last week and was told they haven’t received any results from the hospital. I wonder if I should ring the hospital to follow up?!

I’m worried they may have misplaced the results & I’ll need to do the tests again. I was t checked in properly at the reception. I was told to just go to the blood test room andI gave them my referral letter (which they kept).

I’m still feeling unwell, so I’m eager to know what’s wrong if anything.

I'm not sure what you are selling but I would make a little bit of stock, not a huge amount and then maybe you could offer made to order
Thanks, it will mostly be things like candles, keyrings, crochet etc so easy enough things that can be made quickly enough

Am just unsure if you can only put up say 10 of something or a site like etsy expects you to have 100 of something before selling

Have you googled how to do a forced restart, or factory reset? Some laptops have a pin hole which on insertion of a paper clip will start.
It's a tablet, it just won't go on at all, I've a feeling the battery's dead an it's not charging, it's done this before an I've managed to get it on only to find the battery was dead, but this time nothings happening

Has anyone tried natural deodorant? A couple of the mums at my playgroup are saying it’s incredible, but I sweat A LOT and at one point had to have prescription deodorant. If you have tried it which one?

aw i’m sorry :( it’s so easy to get caught out ivy these things!

i would note all these things for the bank (that they’re now no longer listing perfumes for sale, potentially don’t reply to your email, confirmed on trust pilot as a scam) to make a good case for your mum. it might be worth her cancelling the payment card she used too, just to be on the safe side.
Thanks I appreciate that 💕I'm really stressed out as to me it was obviously dodgy but clearly to her it was not. And that makes me worry about her safety online in general..

Thank you - I will definitely help her compile all these things, I think we have to wait to give the company a chance to reply first.

I think definitely listen to yourself, he sounds a good lad so far and that’s down to you! They say if you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life and it’s so true. If he does something he’s not into, not only might he not be as successful as he may be with endless passion for something, he may end up miserable!
Thank you that's very kind 😊

Ahh I adore that saying its so true 👍 you definitely need something to get you out of bed in the morning that's for sure and if for him that's music college then so be it haha!

This might not actually come to anything but it’s what I’m currently stressed about so I’m going to get it off my chest.
I’m training to be a teacher and am half way through my placement so have review meeting with my tutor and class teacher today. Everything has been fine except there is an assessment tracker that my class teacher is supposed to track the targets I have achieved and I need to have it 75% completed for my meeting otherwise my tutor can’t say I’m track. I have tried to remind my teacher to keep highlighting it but it’s not up to date and now I’m stressed about whether I might fail the placement because my paper works not been updated.
My tutor is lovely and as the teacher will be on the call too I’m hoping she can vouch for me and my tutor will let me off but she could just say I’m on track to fail so I have to resist the placement later on in the year. I am annoyed at myself because I should’ve tried to keep on top it, but I also feel bad for constantly asking my teacher to do things for me as she does have a whole class to teach. It was a lot easier last year when I had a mentor who wasn’t a working teacher so had time to complete these things for me.
I work as a tutor for a teaching apprenticeship, and from my perspective I regularly get trainees asking me to ‘be the bad guy’ and speak to the classroom teacher or mentor on the trainees behalf. You’re not alone, and your classroom teacher is likely busy but at the same time I assume they’ve agreed to be your mentor and should be getting some time to complete their duties, so should be doing what you need. If you have actually met the targets I cannot see your having to redo a placement because of effectively an admin error. I would ask to speak to your tutor privately first and air your concerns, and ask if they can speak to the teacher for you and stress the importance of this task being done.

Can a job sack you on the spot for any reason or do they have to give notice?

I ask because I've just seen my job advertised on an ad. It says rolling deadline so I could be that they just haven't taken it down. As far as I am concerned, they like me at my job and recently offered me a permenant position but I have had some issues outside of work (illness etc.) that have impacted my time there (nothing that can be helped and they have been really lovely about it) but now I'm worried they're just keeping me (my job is niche) until they can find someone better

Nothing wrong with thinking. Do you journal? Maybe free writing could help - I always think we already have the answers we're searching for.

When the time comes with trust look also look at their actions too. What are they doing or not doing?
I don't journal, mainly because I can't fit it in! I know it might help but I'm so hemmed in at the moment that this is my only outlet.

Hi everyone. Had no idea this thread existed but im hoping or some work related advice....

I have been band 5 (NHS) for 10 years now and have an interview next week for band 6 post. I feel like I'm already trying to talk myself out of it. I do like my current job, it's a 5 min drive from my house and the hours are great. 3 days and I can pick up a 4th day as and when I want. Its also patient facing but without being too heavy on the clinical side I.e I'm not doing any hard physical work.

The band 6 role is not a fixed base of work so I'd be expected to drive to several locations throughout my area, the longest ones away being about a 50 minute drive each way and potentially the struggle to park at health centres. There is however the option to potentially work from home 1 day per week.

I'm undecided as my head tells me I should progress (for financial reasons mainly) but my heart says stay in the job that is close to home... better the devil you know kind of thing.

I think I put unnecessary pressure on myself thinking I should climb the ladder and better myself but perhaps less stress and mental health out weighs that? I can survive on my current band 5 salary as I have a partner too but obviously increase in pay is always welcomed.

Any thoughts?

Oh I've been there...my baby screamed for the best part of a year. Every night without fail. We were shattered. We had been to the GP, the health visitor and tried every method in the book.
We lived in a terraced house and every night, I was paranoid that my baby had woke the neighbours.

One morning, I bumped into my neighbour...we smiled, said hello and very light heartedly my neighbour said 'you must be shattered...she's gorgeous but she's got a good pair of lungs on her at night'

We laughed but I was mortified. It made me even more paranoid, so I resorted to driving her around in the car at 2am, to get her back to sleep.

There's not many options unfortunately, but the end will be insight. I had party people living next door after my neighbour left.
Thanks for your response! This is exactly what I don’t want to do, I don’t want to cause them more stress. I think we just need to resort to some better earplugs … and tbh I would actually rather be woken by a crying baby than someone playing loud music or having parties at all hours.

My old job before I had my son was exactly like that but he used to give me huge anxiety. In my experience i felt much better once I left but I did just one day wake up and decided not to go back🤣🤣🤣If it is effecting your mental health I don’t think it would do any harm to look else where.

is it an easy field of work to get into? X
Thanks, I'm in IT so yes, lots of jobs around, had a look and even some of my non negotiable requirements (100% remote, wages about the same as now) are easy to find.

Are you in the union? Speak to them, otherwise speak to citizens advice, an make sure you ALWAYS have a witness if there's any meetings, never do a meeting without a no bias witness there, also note down everything he's doing an keep a record of it this will be useful for remembering what's happening, bullying at the workplace is unacceptable an he shouldn't be getting away with it or forcing you out a job you like
I'm in a union, not a big one though, and they can help with legal advice but they're a bit powerless. I've been trying and succeeding in connecting other employees who feel the same and we'll be sending an open letter to the boss soon, but I doubt it will help. He's the CEO after all.

That No- Bias person is seriously a great idea, one of my coworkers just had a call with him without anyone there and it wasn't easy from what I hear.

Hi all, I couldn’t figure out how to start a new thread so thought it best to post in here!

A bit of a tricky one but my other half and I live in a flat which is quite old and has terrible sound proofing. Our neighbours seem like nice people who keep themselves to themselves. We just have one awkward issue. They have a baby, who based on when I first saw the baby as a newborn must now be about 18 months old. Our bedroom is on the other side of their bedroom. We’d rarely hear the baby crying through the walls even as a newborn but for the past 3 months or so, we’ve been woken up on a regular basis around 2 or 3AM by the baby squealing and crying. It’s so loud that we feel like the baby is in the same room as us. Even with earplugs in we sometimes wake up. We can hear the parents talking quite loudly too. We live in 2 bedroom flats so I am not sure if the baby sleeps in their other room and then when she wakes, they bring her into their bedroom. We don’t have children ourselves but I do sympathise if they are suffering with broken sleep. Is it awkward if I raise the issue with the neighbours however? I’m not sure if they realise how loud their baby is - it doesn’t even sound like crying, more squealing. I just don’t want to come across as unsympathetic and cause them stress but it’s really really annoying me now!

I can imagine, people really are. Let us know how you get on, if he starts again. Tell him to go through his insurance and block him. Don’t let him get to you.
yeah I rang the insurance company this morning and am just gonna let them deal with it. I’d rather have it on record than pay the money directly to the garage incase he does try to take me for a ride if it does turn out I’ve hit him. To be honest, I’m just worried about getting points for this so called “hit and run” which wasn’t the case.

I know it sucks having to do this but I think it might work against you if you don't. Are you planning on trying to climb the career ladder there or is it any old corporate job? If you have an HR dept you could ask if they can make an exception because of your anxiety of public speaking? But it might not be the best start to your position there if you plan on raising through the ranks.

If you can get yourself to do it, I'd be plane jane - so for pics I'd say: pictures of outings you've been on that are completely and utterly normal like a walk, a day out in a small town or a hike to some unexciting place, pics of mediocre sightseeing spots, pics of a cake or some food you made or ate, or your houseplants - all things that pretty much everyone does or has and that won't give away anything about you in the slightest. If they're mediorce pics all the better 😅

Just be enthusiastic about the most boring stuff and people will leave you alone and will not pay attention at the presentation either.
Yeah, I know it might work against me, but I honestly don’t know how I’ll be able to manage presenting this without getting sick. I get physically paralyzed at the idea.

I don’t even have any pictures of myself on a hike or walking because I’ve no friends or family to take pictures of me.

I’ve been doing a lot more washing recently (4m old) and my washing machine seal is covered in black mould, plus the detergent tray is also gross. How do people clean their washing machines - in particular the seal - and then keep them clean? Does anyone use Calgon and is it worth it (I live in a hard water area)? Does anyone ever clean out the filter? Whenever I’ve tried to in the past it just leaks water onto the floor but is empty of any grime.

Apologies for the seriously boring problem/questions but I really want to tackle this before it gets worse and the answers online all suggest bicarbonate of soda which I’ve tried before and it just gets clogged up in lumps which I then need to fish out 😫
