What an eye opener this thread is. I’m a member still paying my monthly direct debit. When I started I lost consistently. Then lockdown part 2 happened and I lost a member of my family with that my mood changed and I stopped tracking. I need to get back on it and would like advice on how to start again, the thing stopping me? Richie! I would hate to become one of his ‘examples’ also not seen any new exercise videos so what are people actually paying for? His videos and posts at first I thought they were funny and I needed to hear it like that but I’ve found his posts recently awful. Calling people fatty bum bums really childish and something I heard on the playground at junior school not something to come from a 30 odd ‘professional’ a term I use loosely man.
Ive seen a few people comment on his relationship with Rachel didn’t he ‘rescue’ her from a bad relationship? It would seem this relationship may be just as bad? I can’t wait for my year to over and I will cancel at the first chance I get and find someone else who will help me achieve goals and someone who is approachable.

I’m so glad that I have seen this. I’ve been debating joining RH since the start of the year. Recently joined Preece Nutrition after reading this and got to say that I am glad I did 😁

I have noticed a few long posts from members about how you have to put the graft in and stop making excuses ect. One from a member about how she gets her 15000 steps in working from home walking on the spot whilst taking her phone calls, running up and down stairs ect ect. I wonder if the favourites have been asked to post because the content from the owners is dire at the moment.

The thing is, it's not imperative to do 15k steps a day. I have an office based job wfh and there's no way I can walk on the spot whilst talking to customers, trying to work efficiently at a makeshift office with a laptop and mobile whilst working 3/4 different applications at any 1 time there's noway hosay walking comes into that.

Somedays, on a 10hr shift I'll maybe only achieve 1500 steps in a day. Weekends I do get out and easily do over 10k but 15k, hardly ever, if at all.

What I'm trying to say is, as long as you have a calorie deficit, you'll lose weight. It's not magic. I've been following a reduced calorie meal plan whilst using Nutracheck, keeping tabs on my fitbit and even only doing 1500 steps a day somedays , I can still lose weight.

Get in a calorie deficit and it will happen. It HAS to, you don't need to pay a c**k like him to make you feel bad that you're not doing 15000 steps a day!

Think maybe Rebelfit reads here 👋. Going in on RH in a very thinly veiled way this morning about how it’s all well and good calling people excuse makers if you have all the housework/ childcare done for you.
This 💯 !! Show me someone who works and looks after children all day and runs a household and takes care of elderly relatives!!

I think Liam from Rebelfit might be a Tattler! He did a post before about how crazy it is to count calories in medication not long after Richie had done a post about counting calories in medicine, cough sweets etc. Liam isn’t everyone’s cup
of tea but he does seem very articulate and intelligent, he seems to take any criticism well and he apologises or adapts. I don’t see Richie ever doing that. If I had hundreds of comments about how much of a gob I was I would take a lot of it on board and try to make changes!

Yes, but Richie is a delusional narcissistic arrogant hole who thinks he knows it all! No getting through to people like him!!

I adore Rebelfit, he is always calling out the nutters. He doesn't specifically mention TramRH but it's quite clear they are among the PTs he is targeting.

None of these posts surprise me, infact these bad stories are mild to the stuff I have seen. I personally think Richie is a an awful human being, and Rachael is ultimately becoming complicit in all of his practices.

It is very much like a cult, ran by in my opinion a master manipulator. There plan is fine, it teaches calorie deficit, but that I believe is where their morales end, but surely they can't be that bad when the lovely smiling eye fluttering Rachael is there?

Some facts below what their members need to actually waken upto.......

1. Last June 2019, Richie did a victim playing live saying about how he works so hard that he does not have time to go away on holiday with his beloved girlfriend, this was all said whilst knowing fine well he was going away on holiday with the lads less than one week later. He has been away the last 4 years with the lads but does not take his partner on holiday, yet he tries to make it out he is unable to.

2. January they posted about last year, some people tried to bring him down, in reply what they did was work hard, put their head down and NOT RETALIATE. So that being said, is sending massive multiple page documents of threatening letters to ex staff and affiliate not count as retaliation? Yeah you put your head down and did not retaliate haha.

3. They make their staff and affiliates sign NDA's (none disclosure agreements), so essentially a document so what goes on never comes out in my opinion. They are just a weight loss group, I do not know of any other weight loss place taking such actions to keep a lid on things.

4. They are meant to be about making the diet world a better place, no pills, no shake diets etc. However they strive to make sure they are only ones giving this message, their affiliate contracts try to prevent them mentioning other people like James Smith etc mentioning the same truths.

5. Richie fights every single one star review on trustpilot, calling everyone who leaves a bad review as if they have an agenda. I rarely see people calling the plan (apart from app), it is the people and not the plan/business people are not happy with.

I personally believe this will blow up one day, there are loads of people with horrendous experiences that go way beyond just a bit ''tough love''. I liken it to the #metoo movement (not on the whole as extreme), but their are many many people deeply effected by them. Myself, I am one of many who can't stand to see them shared on my timeline, genuinely have PTSD symptoms I personally find them so despicable.

He labels these people as haters, we are not people who hate his plan, his business etc, we just see through him.
I was a member a few years back and a victim of his bullying. The plan works but the man doesn't! When I first started with them it was like a big supportive family which is just what I needed on the hard journey to loosing weight & It was really affordable. As he got bigger he grew greedier and an even bigger weasel! he likes to look good and act like he cares on the outside but he really doesn't... I speak from sad experiences.... a complete fake arsewipe who picks on defensive people. The money and power have definitely gone to his head. I joined up with Preece Nutrition who works with caloric deficit but the big difference is Peter who runs it has compassion and treats/coaches everybody individually. He understands life gets in the way and doesn't shout/scream or call you out making you look small or insignificant infront of 1000s people if your having a hard time for whatever reason like Richie always used to. By the time I left I had 0% confidence in myself and was at rock-bottom but in time Peter has helped me get that back

I wanted to like Rebelfit but I unfollowed (long before covid) because he was forever getting pulled up for saying tit. He would learn from it, for sure, he’d put his hands up, but it seemed to be happening so regular at one point I just distrusted him.

I have been following preece’s posts. All I see is kindness. And really,that’s the idea. Being kinder to ourselves AND our health. Not berating yourself for taking the cough medicine cause it’s got calories *shocker*

Edited to add - in Liams defence he wasn’t deleting and blocking everyone and ignoring the negative feedback.

Even in the early days of being a PT you are taught that negative feedback is vital, it will help shape you to be the person people want to go to.

I wanted to like Rebelfit but I unfollowed (long before covid) because he was forever getting pulled up for saying tit. He would learn from it, for sure, he’d put his hands up, but it seemed to be happening so regular at one point I just distrusted him.

Oh god I did rebel fit, he’s another d*ck! Believes that once you are large you will always be large and has any many rules around food as SW!

It’s kicking off a little tonight in the members only club. Someone is asking once you can go to friends and family for food how do you track it. People are saying to take scales with you or ask people to save barcodes. Someone has pointed out that not seeing f&f for 1 year you could surely have 1 day off! This can really lead to disordered eating having that mindset of carrying scales around!
