It does say 12 month contract right at the bottom there but I don’t know how new that is! It should be at the top, not the bottom to make it as clear as possible even before you go in to sign up.

I think if they state 12 month plan then people should expect to pay for 12 months. Most companies have T&C’s online and they are usually hidden away somewhere. It’s not right that they have debt collectors in and personally I think Ritchie is a d*ck but people do need to be more careful when signing up for things online.
The 12 month contract has been there for a long while now. I started with them in 2017 before a 12 month contact came in and it was useless, basically paying for them to tell you what calories to have. I once asked a question and got links to watch the starter videos. It was so obvious they had their own little clique of favourites. It also annoyed me when they started with theor 'coaches', a bunch of people who had done 'their plan' for a short time that were a lickers. I cancelled after the app came in as i thought it was utter balls and it rarely linked properly to MFP and also would never log me in. I can't believe how awful they have turned after listening to how much they wanted to help people and it wasn't about money.
Yes I agree - I read it as you pay all up front or you can pay in installments but I knew exactly what the cost would be.
Perhaps they shouldn't offer installments and people just pay upfront payment.
James Smith is lightyears ahead of Team RH. His book is great where he described having 100k followers a few years ago and had a party to celebrate, 2 days later when he went to jiu jitsu, he was back to wiping the mats after others who are higher ranked belts than him.Exactly the same story.

Now Ashbourne is asking for £28 to cover the payment and their fee. When it bounces again next month, will they demand another £28?
Thankfully on James Smith Academy now and learning (and losing large) so much more. On his live video yesterday somebody asked if he gets on with Team RH. He said no. They have blocked him from all platforms without any explanation despite no interaction.
Anyone with any advice around Ashbourne not affacting my credit score? Took years to improve and now rosea nosed twit is ballsing it up for me.
A friend of mine drafted up a letter for a person I know who was being refused a refund. my friend ripped the terms and conditions apart. What happened was they just blocked her and did not refund. Are their followers so blind? Can they not see this disgraceful undercurrent?
Maybe the plan afterall? I’m so glad I found this site, I wrote reviews on a couple of sites (as I do for many things) saying I was a member for a couple of years but had felt in had gone downhill and the app had never worked well since launch. Reviews got reported and comments on Trustpilot along the lines of being a member of a rival gang etc. They then contacted me via there asking for my contact details -sod that, so they can harass me even more-subsequently reduced rating from 3 stars to 1 due to this behaviour. Complete lunatics if you ask me, and the more I look back the more I see how dysfunctional the whole set up is
I don't know why anyone would want to be associated with that. The only thing that would motivate me to do is steer clear of someone so unprofessional, how else does this manifest itself in the rest of their business? If this is them putting their best face forward then what's their worst?

My birthday is on Saturday, I’m going out for Thai food with my mum tomorrow, we’re going away on Wednesday then back Sunday then I’m going out for Italian with my dad

Does he honestly think he can hold people to contracts by spouting this sort of offensive rhetoric? I am not offended as such by bad language or smutty humour.... but I'd lose my tit if my bank or my utilities spoke to me like this?! He needs investigating by ofcom and FCA. He cannot expect people to pay good money for this.
I'm not offended by it either but i think the thing about crappy areseholes is just going too far. I can't see him attracting new custom by talking like that and people will definitely leave so it will have a negative effect on his buisness.

The issue with the year long contract is, most of us haven't received even half of what we were promised when we signed up. They lock people in knowing full well that if it were pay as you go, the vast majority of people would be gone after the first month.
That post is utterly disgraceful. I think he’s got massive issues and should probably refrain from posting on social media but obviously that’ll never happen! If a hairdresser, beauty therapist, health professional, anyone at all used language like that no one would want to use their services so why has he got so many followers? Like others have said I don’t get offended by bad language or innuendo but he’s taking it to the total extreme. If I was his mrs I would spend my life wanting the ground to swallow me up!
