Gary did mention it on an Instagram post in 2019 when he was posting about different tours.

I think they are taking a bit of a risk. I would say the 2009 tour and era was when they were at the height of their fame. And Jason is missing this time. I feel for those of us that experienced it back then, it could just never feel the same? I really thought they may have done a reimagined circus tour so it respected the 2009 tour but still felt fresh and more fitting with TT3. Because it will be impossible to recreate the feeling the 2009 tour gave. But I think this is also why they are going full whack with the promo. They really have a lot of tickets to sell compared to recent arena tours.

That said I am still really excited and will get tickets, and just enjoy it for what it is and be grateful they are still giving us tours.
I’m honestly in two minds about it. Some of the stadiums were on the last tour. I’m going to be really horrible but it was a total Prosecco fest the last tour I went to, and I couldn’t cope with that. My issue though!

I got front standing for the Friday in London. Went really smoothly using Seetickets but I could see that tickets were selling fast!

I'm sure the first stadium gig I did (Circus 2009) the whole pitch and first tier seating was General Admission and cost about £45-50. I don't remember any special VIP areas. We pretty much walked up to the B stage, no cordons etc. If you wanted front row you got there early. I'm going to be in the cheap seats but at least I'll be able to rest my middle aged legs for a while🤣 only downside of seated is all the people who don't stand up to dance then tut and sign when you do!
Think you're right as I'm sure we ended up in the first tier of seats right next to the stage. Great view and a seat was a bonus.

oh that was such a big moment in original tour so hopefully they keep it the same
I really hope so! Part of me wants to unfollow everything so it's a huge surprise on the day I go, but the other part of me wants to know so I can manage my expectations 🙈

Sooooo pissed off with the whole thing now! I managed to jump on this morning, despite thinking I wouldn't have the time, bagged 2 tickets straight away, got through to payment and accidentally made a typo in my email address. It wouldnt let me correct it, the box was greyed out and unclickable. The basket timed out and I lost them😡 nothing available where I want now so going to have to wait and see if anything comes up later. TBH I don't think I can be arsed any more!
I've had colleagues this morning try and the prices have been super inflated by some of the tickets agencies

It always felt quite big, the age gap between Robbie and Mark and then the other three … Howard and Jason felt mature for a boyband! I remember my mum’s mates genuinely fancying Howard 🤣 they felt manly compared to say the One Direction boys, who were very much a “boy” band.
I'll be honest and say the only one I remember is Mark who claimed to be the same age as Robbie but was actually born in 72. I can't remember how much the others took off but didn't think it was that much.

Ah just seen that. Not my first choice, would have preferred Boro again but I'll look at the dates before I say no (work in a school so term time is hard!)

We did Nottingham on the last tour as it was half term and we used to live there so an excuse to go back to old haunts! Plus it was a smaller stadium so a great view wherever you were!
I was at Nottingham my home town, I'm not expecting to be that lucky this.

I Can Make It is still one of my favourite Take That songs, although I did prefer it when Mark sang it on tour, it feels like a Mark song to me!

Don't get me started on Blobby, I still have a deep hatred for that creature stemming back from my 11 year old self being so mad that he stopped TT from getting Christmas No.1
I think I Can Make It is one of Gary's strongest ever vocal performances. Can vaguely imagine Mark singing it though, it would kind of suit his voice... not sure if he's do it As well though (I used to adore Mark, but think Gary is the better singer.)

As for that Blobby fookwit going to number 1 instead of Babe.. I remember babysitting my nephew that week and refusing to let him watch Noel's House Party. 😂

I feel like I've heard Mark sing I Can Make it, I hear his voice when I think about that song. It's a very Mark song!
He definitely sang it on one of their old concert VHS tapes. Occasionally I’ll see a clip of one on TikTok and I still know everything word for word despite not having watched them for over 30 years 😂

It’s finally my turn to go to the circus tomorrow!

Reviews seem to be all really positive. Delighted for them. I saw their last tour in Cork and it wasn't great but the last Circus tour was incredible. Not expecting this to be as good as back then of course but really looking forward to it. I miss Jason 😢
Yes I saw the last tour at 02 and wasn't sure if id want to see them again
