I feel underwhelmed by tour merchandise at the best of times but has anyone else seen the latest merch for the Nobody Else 30th anniversary and just think it’s utterly shit? Not just underwhelmed this time, I don’t get the relevance at all.

I was a 90s fan and I can’t remember anything to do with cherubs but happy to be reminded if I’ve forgotten. So what’s this about? This is official merchandise from the Take That store!!

Wow, that's awful! Doesn't scream TT to me I'm afraid! The clothing merch is always way overpriced and a bit shit, though I did get a nice GB hoodie on his 2012 tour for about £30, they are more like double that now.

I haven't bothered this time around, a friend from work said I could go with her but the prices were ridiculous. For front A&B to be about £145 (including fees) is crazy - so instead of spending it on a ticket, I've got return flights to Spain for £50 and treating myself to a little half term R&R by myself! Cannot wait 🇪🇸
This is the thing, my OH has agreed to go with me so I don't want to spend silly money on tickets as he's not that bothered. If I was going on my own I'd probably spend a bit more. I saw the Circus in 2009, and I'm pretty sure the ticket, bus and hotel cost less than it costs to sit in the most expensive seats!

I think I've only been on the pitch once at a TT gig and that was the Progress tour. I have never seen so many people absolutely off their faces, throwing up, spilling bottles of wine etc. So many of them not even looking at the stage too! Totally spoilt it for me and I don't like stadium gigs for that reason. I always go for seated and in stadiums that feels a little bit too far away to feel included in the atmosphere.

Having said that, I've also noticed that a huge number of people with seated tickets never stand up, especially the higher up the seats go. I was back row a couple of times and no one stood up except for a couple of songs near the end! I try to sit down but just want to dance and it feels awkward seat dancing! I get some people can't stand for physical/medical reasons but it can't be the case for everyone.
Starting to think people have more money than sense. They’re going because it’s a ‘go-to’ show and not because they’re true fans. They would rather spend the duration off their faces!

Hmmm after posting this, I saw the ticket prices.😯 I'm someone who goes to a concert to see the concert (ie, I ain't spending £80 to be at the back and barely see anything) and doing that for this will cost a fortune so I've decided no... Went to see Inside No 9 at Sunderland today and paid £28 a ticket, so have instead have decided to use what I would have spent at Take That for a couple of theatre visits for my husband and I 😍 We don't have a lot of spare cash between us, I'd rather use it for date days if I'm honest 🤷
Ooh off topic I know but was IN9 good? I'm going to Manchester next month and got tickets for £20! Looked at Sunderland and they only had seats up in the gods for about £70 which was a no from me😂

I can't see Howard without thinking of David Walliams and Matt in Rock Profile. "Anyone for nibbles?!" Not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to the video. I'll try but apologies if I'm breaking the rules!

I think Gary can come across badly in interviews because his responses sound so rehearsed. He’s always sounded like a fifty year old man, even when he was 22.

He’s very guarded and doesn’t like to let people in. If Robbie is an open book, Gary is the opposite. I think he carries a lot of baggage from his “failure” years and still isn’t over the trauma of being a public laughing stock.

He’s also a workaholic and when TT aren’t active, needs to be busy with solo projects. I don’t think that means he’s only in it for himself, I genuinely think the three of them are in a good place in their old age.
I think they are now but I think it took him a long time to care about the others. People can and do change though. I think he was humbled after his solo career. I'm delighted the three of them kept going and seem like genuine friends now.

Back in the day I bought tickets to see them. They look as if they will just kind of shuffle around in this tour. I bought for this tour because they have Olly as a guest.

I keep checking if they've added program to the merch store. Make me feel a little better that i'm missing out

I've given up. I tried 4 times and kept getting Bad URL screen then kicked off for having a VPN (I don't). Tried a different browser and got straight in but no tickets left in the section I want. Refreshed hundreds of times and sometimes there were tickets which disappeared by the time I got to the checkout or they could only be bought in 1 or 3s. Can't try tomorrow morning so will just have to hope there's something left.

I've seen loads of people say they've got multiple tickets for multiple dates... Don't know how they managed that!

i was fuming with my pre sale code because i kept getting bad url and couldn’t get through. When I eventually did all the cheaper seats had gone.
There were still cheap seats left at Sunderland hours after they went on sale. We ended up going for the £112 ones, even those are in the top tier though.

I pulled the set list from 2009 and while I enjoyed The Circus the first time round, I do wish there was more Take That and Party songs. Or maybe this will be part of some of the surprises there are supposed to be. I want to reminisce about being squashed against a barrier at the Bournemouth International Centre every night 😂

Main Setlist (Based on 2009 Wembley Performance)
  1. Greatest Day
  2. Reach Out
  3. Patience
  4. Shine
  5. Said It All
  6. The Garden
  7. Up All Night
  8. How Did It Come to This?
  9. Rule the World
  10. Love Love
  11. Relight My Fire
  12. Back for Good
  13. Never Forget
Encore
  • Could It Be Magic
  • Pray
That can’t be the set list, did AI come up with that? Love Love was Progress era and they definitely did more than 15 songs.
