I agree with the cashless society post.

I agree we shouldn’t have a cashless society, but I don’t agree with the post he’s used saying there would be no more feeding the homeless, no car boot sales/markets (our local some stalls already use a card machine).

the homeless would still be fed if all we had was cards as we would buy things for them.

he doesn’t ever read or use his brain to question things (like the cashless society post).
most of what is written there is codswallop as society would still feed the homeless, car boot sales would still continue, the tooth fairy would bring money to a child’s bank account rather than under their pillow,

you can still save for a rainy day and earn interest on it and busking musicians would allow you to bank transfer or send stars or whatever via Facebook to donate.

what he shares is codswallop, he sees it and shares it without thinking.

there are hundreds of very well thought out posts, covering the same topic, with fantastic arguments against a cashless society, with evidence to back it up, petitions to sign etc and good old Howard shares any old shit he comes across.

I feel underwhelmed by tour merchandise at the best of times but has anyone else seen the latest merch for the Nobody Else 30th anniversary and just think it’s utterly shit? Not just underwhelmed this time, I don’t get the relevance at all.

I was a 90s fan and I can’t remember anything to do with cherubs but happy to be reminded if I’ve forgotten. So what’s this about? This is official merchandise from the Take That store!!

That’s a good point! It did say that resales had to be made on their resale site too and had to be face value/(or less?)

Gutted that the Spanish dates are the week before the summer school holidays next year, would have totally gone to see them in Fuengirola but I worlmon a school (missed Robbie by a week when he was there too!).

I notice there's some in May half term.... Could be tempted!

Refused to pay £140 to see The Circus tour but more than willing to spend triple that to see them in Europe as technically it's also a holiday What a div I am

oh god not Beeston I've bad memories of living in Rylands haha Google says nearest is Queens Walk in the Meadows which is 21 mins walk not sure i'd want to walk there late at Night though

Hahaha we lived in Beeston for about 5 years and in the Rylands for a couple of years in a little flat near the canal, bloody loved it!! Only moved back home as the husband got made redundant we're having a return to the Vic Hotel for a good meal before the show next week!

Yeah not walking through the meadows at night, I'll take my chances with the train station or try for an Uber

Delighted I found Heaven is included as i've never heard it live, also glad Hold up a Lights is in as that works great live. Good mix of songs from all their albums

That spoiler song will make me cry as I love it so much!

I made the mistake of joining a couple of TT tour FB pages so I've been spoiled for the setlist. But it's re-opened the TT playlist floodgates so I am loving it!

I’m going on Sunday too.. the previous stadium shows I’ve been to were pretty standard - you queue for hours and you get a good spot. You come along later and you get what you’re given. I’ve never experienced pushing and shoving but maybe I’ve just been lucky. I would love to be at the front but I just don’t think my bladder and back can take the hours of queuing anymore

I went for seats this time for that very reason! I’m way past the days of queuing for hours and not going to the loo for 12 + hrs

TT have always been my fave band, first time around I was too young to see them live.
So when they split I thought it'd never happen. So glad they reunited as i've been to every tour plus all 3 of Gary's solo ones

I am so looking forward to this tour as it was incredible first time round. I just worry that they'll change the set list too much to include new songs, and it will break my heart if they sing the new dance version of Said It All!

Cheap seats for us

I'm sure the first stadium gig I did (Circus 2009) the whole pitch and first tier seating was General Admission and cost about £45-50. I don't remember any special VIP areas. We pretty much walked up to the B stage, no cordons etc. If you wanted front row you got there early. I'm going to be in the cheap seats but at least I'll be able to rest my middle aged legs for a while only downside of seated is all the people who don't stand up to dance then tut and sign when you do!

I wish I was going but for the same price as a standing ticket, I had a solo trip to Spain (flights and hotel!) so couldn't justify the cost. Plus the idea of doing Sunderland solo really freaked me out (did Nottingham with my son for the This Life tour which was a much smaller venue!)
