He definitely sang it on one of their old concert VHS tapes. Occasionally I’ll see a clip of one on TikTok and I still know everything word for word despite not having watched them for over 30 years 😂

It’s finally my turn to go to the circus tomorrow!
You will have an amazing night! Went last Friday in Manchester. It’s a lot bigger scale than the original, & the set is totally revamped for Relight my Fire, the whole concert is outstanding! I also think Zoe is better than Lulu and I love Lulu! Have a fabulous time! X

I was 14 the first time and no way would my mum have paid. This time im going with my husband and its our 10 year wedding anniversary
Now I feel old, I was 34 in 2009 :ROFLMAO: but I was going through a ‘can’t be bothered with gigs‘ phase, plus I was ill with gallstones that year so could barely leave the house half the time. Happily my midlife crisis came at 40 and propelled me to start going to gigs as if I were a teenager again, so I’ve been making up for lost time since then!

Wasn't it just amazing?! I still can't believe what I saw. I won't give any spoilers but Relight my Fire was absolutely incredible 😍
Zoe Birkett is an absolute Queen! Saw her in Panto a couple of years ago in our hometown, and her vocals are just spectacular! She did Whitney's Queen of the Night and I had goosebumps!

I think Robbie has openly admitted to becoming addicted to drink and drugs early on in the TT years. That’s all the tea I have!
His documentary on Netflix details his addiction issues and how it impacted his career. There’s some very retro TT footage in there too! It’s a very interesting and very honest series - well worth a watch.

Just in case you've not seen, Amazon Prime have the Wonderland tour available :)
I didn't know! That's brilliant, Friday night viewing sorted. Thank you!
I'm assuming it's the same concert they showed in the cinema which is extra prefect as I was at that show 😊

Anyone remember Robbie's song Clap Your Hands? I think it might have been the B-side to the Pray single?

It was a live rap thing that he did on tour, with Howard(?) beatboxing in the background.

It was around the time he was wearing those fake dummies on long black cords around his neck (so of course I had one.)

The lyrics I remember are "... and it's funny, all the girls wanna suck my dummy!" 🤣
Memory unlocked! Need to go back and watch the old tours for that one. I had multiple dummies too🤣

Take That fan since 1992 here ❤
Off to see them next month at Nottingham with hubby and my daughters in tow 😁 Their concerts still give me the shivers even though I am clearly no longer 13 years of age 😆
Robbie was always my fave but definitely Howard these days. Somewhere in a cupboard I’ve got the 90s merch. Being a fan has definitely been one hell of a ride!
I’ve never met any of them sadly apart from having held Mark’s hand briefly and touching Howard’s chest at a concert 😜
I believe they are genuinely nice guys and that’s how they’ve stayed so popular and been able to make comebacks 🤷🏻‍♀️
(A little gutted I can’t afford Malta)
I’m off to Nottingham and a fan since 92 too! First saw them in Derby when I was 12 (some 30 odd years ago now!) at the Assembly rooms which was like being at a concert in your front room 😂

I've got the post concert blues this morning 😔 I ache from dancing, my throat hurts from singing but I wish I could do it all again!
It was such a good night.

I'm hoping it's as big a spectacular as it usually is after paying over £100 for a ticket! Looking forward to seeing Olly Murs too. Going with my mum and she's wanted to see him for ages.
Sat quite close to the main stage (closest seats I've ever had) so I selfishly, hope they don't spend too much time on the B stage 😂

I did the no purchase necessary and got a code. Kept getting errors through Gigs and Tours but eventually got through about 10.30. Still loads of tickets left, I couldn't decide where to sit and didn't actually end up buying until 12. Even then, there were still standing tickets and loads of other options. Very unusual, thought theyd have been gone in half an hour.
Never saw The Circus tour the first time round (think my first TT tour was Wonderland) so we're really looking forward to it. Got seats on the front row of top tier for Sunderland. Going with my mum, my brother and his girlfriend. Sooooooo excited!!!

Incase of Rain i've just ordered my program online. £2.75 more but I dont have to worry it'll get wet plus carrying it can be a pain.
I'm 10 mins from ground and we've had no Thunder yet and past couple of hours only brief spits of Rain

The prices are crazy anyway. I said to myself if I couldn't get the cheap seats I'm not going. I looked at 2 sets of tickets in the same block, one set was £69 each and the other £152 each. They were both in the furthest block from the stage, so must be a matter of dozens of rows apart. I don't know how they can justify it. I see another date has been added for Manchester on a Wednesday night. Just not doable midweek for us.
Exactly ! I looked this morning despite having cheap seats for Friday 29th May and on the Saturday, the more expensive seats were available in the next block to the cheap ones.
None of it makes sense. Bring back the 90s when we queued outside the box office at the venues to get front row tickets 😂

Well, I’m excited! My attendance at TT tours has been sporadic over the years, I saw them in 1995 and 2006 but only really started following every tour from Wonderland in 2017 (which I wish they’d release on DVD!) So I’m thrilled to have the chance to experience The Circus, even though it will of course be different with them as an older three piece. Also, for the first time I have a friend who wants to come with me, so I’ll finally be able to fully take part in the ‘middle aged ladies on a party night out’ vibe that is such a staple of the TT live experience 😂
Just in case you've not seen, Amazon Prime have the Wonderland tour available :)

I'm also excited, I first saw then in 1993 and have been lucky enough to not miss a tour since. I know this version of The Circus won't be the same magic, but that's fine as it'll be a new magic! I'm going with different people this time, some that haven't seen TT live before and that in itself is giving me joy that they get to experience a TT gig for the very first time I get to witness their excitement. Bring it on I say!

I agree, by far the best show they’ve ever put on. I was lucky enough to watch it from the b stage and the main stage. Got soaked at the b stage, best night ever 😆

On another note, it looks like it’s the football stadiums that don’t have a b stage 😢
Envious of your Circus experience! I had a good seat but your views would have been far better!
I think you’re right about the stadiums and B stage for this tour. Gutted!!

yes there is quite a few fan videos on Instagram where you can just about make them out. If you look on Gary’s instagram stories it shows them backstage and they have the blue cloud trousers on getting ready to walk up with the other clowns and dancers.
they are surrounded by balloons & wearing masks so it’s quite difficult to distinguish them! Once they are at the balloon they take off the cloud/blue outfits (presume the outfits are discarded into the balloon basket)
They then appear in there black outfits as all the balloons lift as if by magic 🤩😍❤ x
Brilliant, thank you so much!
