Style Me Sunday - Natalie Lee

This thread smacks of racism and double standards, people saying they’d rather follow MOD than SMS despite MODs abhorrent and very intentional actions. I’ll admit SMS has been tone deaf a number of times but other than that, so what if she wants to parade her body around the internet? I wouldn’t personally but, her call and it’s not hurting anyone. She’s not a celebrity, she’s not received PR training and been taught how to handle life in the (semi)public eye.

you’ve got some really awful people out there who are scamming people in the name of feminism and being a girl boss (Sarah akwisombe, jen stanbrook to name just two). Masses and masses of coaches coaching coaches coaching coaches and preying on desperate and often vulnerable people and influencers employing downright bullying tactics. The vitriol this woman’s getting in comparison makes me think you should really question whether you’re opposed to a woman expressing herself in a way you’re not comfortable with or a woman of colour doing so.

no, I’m not SMS, I’m not even particularly a fan of hers but this woman is potentially going through a separation which is tit no matter how financially comfortable one is and I’m very uneasy with the comments being made about her (the likes of which I’ve not really seen on a white influencer’s thread but I don’t often follow many of these threads).
GTFOOH. No one, literally NO ONE has said anything racist about her on this thread, you utter melt. I, for one, wouldn’t allow it. No one here would. Try again; you’ll fail again on the crying bigotry front, and hard.

And to add my two cents, I’m biracial, just like Natalie. Not that that gives me a ‘special license’ to discuss her that other ethnicities don’t - we are analysing her own vast, self published instagram output and behaviour, which people of all creeds and colours are entitled to do. And we are doing it away from her feed, not interacting with her, on our own tiny corner of the internet. If you dont lke what we say, dont come here. Have a blessed evening.

Look on other threads it’s not about race! MODS thread was harsh AF. SMS has her fanny out of course she’s going to get some stick.

Sorry, new to this thread. She has just come up on my explore page advertising a vibrator 😂 so I had a nosey at her account and the third grid pic along where it’s different slides, the second slide where she has screenshot a commenter calling her a thirst trap made me laugh. She has across as being salty.

What was the Aldi debacle? Sorry if this has already been talked about on here 😬

She did a campaign for Aldi about living like a poor person and how easy it was to buy food when you havnt got a penny to scratch your arse with. Being a well off middle class woman with a well off middle class husband didn’t go down to well with, well, poor people.

Yup! It was incredibly tone deaf and patronising. Went down like a lead balloon. Quite an embarrassment for all involved.

This little PR disaster is why businesses should do proper research when employing Instagrammers for their campaigns. And why Instagrammers should think hard (or seek professional advice) about the brands and campaigns they ‘collab’ with, rather than grabbing whatever comes along.

Oh I love/dislike her. I think the majority of her 80k audience do. She’s a car crash 😳😂😩

I’ve met her at blog events. She’s rude and unpleasant.
Her kids will love it when their friends find her social media and are old enough to understand...🤦‍♀️

Interesting that she has limited discussion to only include her sheep followers of demented strong women, wonder how that will help engagement 🤔

She seems to be going into some sort of exhibitionist free fall since her split. She’s always been quite extroverted but gone is the woman who walked her golden retriever in the woods and talked to her audience about her and the family’s struggles with her daughter’s condition and resulting degenerative visual impairment. Gone is the woman who talked about books and fashion with body and sex positive content mixed in. It is now 100% sexually explicit content dressed up as bopo (sorry) sex-po content, 100% of the time. It feels like the IG version of the newly divorced person going out and flirting with anything and everything every weekend. VALIDATE ME

Well, if it's true that she's separated, with the flashing of her jubblies and the almost-unveiling of her lady garden she may be 'manifesting' a new man! Let me know if it works, lol.

Has she split from her husband?
Yes. we suspected it and she mentions it herself in a Grazia (?) interview which she referenced on IG. Let me see if I can find it...

I’ve just found the Grazia piece. Bloody hell, it is atrocious. I assume there is no editing process for the online content, judging by the glaring errors in the first paragraph alone? 😳

That link doesn’t work.
Apologies

It appears that the magazine doesn’t link from tattle. I c&p the link in and it posts as ‘Grazia is not linked’

You can find it on google. I literally looked for her name and Grazia

It’s this one...

Is it this one? Mentions the split from the husband. In all honesty, Natalie has been through a lot; her daughters medical issues, natalie’s alopaecia, weight gain, breakdown of marriage. I would feel for her - but the porniness and showing off her pum pum is just too much. For me anyway, JMO.

(Edited to add, we obvi cant link to Grazia for some reason.)
