Based on the statement the tour put out, I can't really see it being anything else tbh.
I wonder if Gorka thinks there is a chance Shirley will step down this year to do the American show. There has been gossip on line. He might have bought into it. He now has judging experience he might think he would be the perfect fit. Personally I think she wont leave for the moment and Vito with his Dance with Us classes with Shirley is lining himself up to be the one to take her place.
I do agree with your analysis overall but a bit stumped by one thing.
I feel like with Gorka it was probably a bit more of a blurry situation - in a way, it wasn't him just deciding to leave while they'd have had him back, but also not them straight up axing him. I imagine he got a little bit of an ultimatum this year - either staying as a pro properly (& likely getting a partner too as he's still popular) or going off to Spain again, so he chose the judging gig, which likely pays more and is way easier to do.
I doubt Shirley is going anywhere tbh.
Yeah, not sure why people think Shirley is gonna leave. She seems to be involved in that "looking for a new pro" show for DWTS, but that's being filmed around now. Isn't she also looking after her mom in the UK? I imagine she's staying put whilst she's still there, then maybe she might go to the States to be close to her sons (& possibly switch to judging on DWTS if they want her).
I agree. I think the only thing I could think that may be annoying about Michelle is that her besties Nancy and Dianne are annoying. I think Michelle is really inoffensive.
I agree. She seems to be very close to her mother - who must be elderly. And tbh, who would walk away from the gig she has going with Strictly. Huge money for tbh, what looks like not very much exertion on her part.

between that and my love for Anton and Gio, I sometimes feel I don't belong on this thread I saw the Legends last year, and I loved the show. They all predate my watching of Strictly so I didn't really have preconceived notions. I'd definitely go to see them again.We've got tickets to see the legends show
