If the presenter stories are true, it seems a very strange choice. Emma I really like and, assuming she's the lead presenter, I think she'll be great. I do like Josh but I can't see him on a format like this. Johannes sounds like a panicked afterthought because the BBC were worried about the optics and potential fallout with two straight, white presenters.

Spot on.Not sure how many on here love Vito, but must say all this smaltz is pathetic. Platitudes and trying to push a persona of loving everyone and everything, is just unreal in the real world. Wish he would stop all this, be natural and honest.
Taking selfies and posting them is the ultimate narcissist. Year on year he just gives the ick. Stick to dancing rather than trying to keep himself relevant throughout the Strictly off-season, when there is nothing relevant to post, other than this kind of stuff and nonsense.

I like his dancing and I am sure he is a nice guy. But all that over the top stuff he goes on with, gives me the ick.
Josh is experienced at interviewing people on his podcasts, perhaps that’s the kind of experience they wanted for the upstairs role. It’s less about presenting and more about interacting with the contestants. As much as everyone lauds Tess (now she’s left), she would have been terrible upstairs.
Maybe Vito will stop when his book is published. When it lands in a charity shop bargain bucket then the narcissistic posts will stop. I feel sorry for his long term girl friend Valentina who has to put up with it all the time. Next year and a new RH&R tour though? I do love him as a dancer though. No matter who the presenters are, not everyone will be happy. At least we won't resort to tearing the faces off one another here, unlike Digital Spy where (what I think are) small things can sometimes cause terrible angst.
At the end of the day, it's a nice bit of glittery entertainment that cheers us up a bit in the chilly winter months. And the threads here are always great fun.
They might change the format. I had been pondering about the Clauditorium, as one part they might change. It would be nice to chat to the couple without the havoc around them and the usual suspects vying for the camera lens, maybe.

And if the ITT format is being changed, it would be nice to have a chat with the couple on the night, and maybe get a bit of insight into their week of training and all of that kind of thing. Scrap the gurning and shrieking going on around them.
Realistically you need like 2/3 episodes a week tops.
