Not at the expense of far better contestants though
I totally agree. I genuinely thought Dan would go on Saturday and I’m now thinking unless he gets a samba or salsa, he’ll be a semi-finalist. And even then, if he gets decent marks, having one of those might not stop him 🤷🏻‍♀️

What I don't get about the massive support for Dan is that he's not even that likeable?? He seems nice but that's about it! I think he comes across a bit bland personality wise. Whereas Jamie Laing was full of personality and fun and you could see he was having the time of his life during strictly - it was easy to warm to him. I can only assume some of Dan's support is actually for Nadiya who is an utter JOY. She is fast becoming one of my favourite pros!

Nadiya obviously feels very comfortable with Dan because I’ve really never seen so much from her. Isn’t it funny how different people bring out different bits of others.

I love Nadiya. I thought she was a cold fish, like Luba but she's great. Who is voting for Dan????????????????

I think my star of the series has to be Dan Walkers wife! If my husband was dancing with Nadiya I’d be a complete bunny boiler by now 🤣 she’s just remained totally out of the press and supported him- lovely.

I know Rhys isnt popular but he's a better dancer then Dan. It'll be a travesty if they ditch rhys to push golden boy through.

I think if you look at the Instagram and FB likes of the dances there’s one clear winner if that’s a good gauge.

No Blackpool this year?
Are you surprised that there isn’t?

It was announced at the beginning of the series they wouldn’t be going to Blackpool. Blackpool I think would have been Children In Need week. The logistics of moving all that equipment up North and also the closer proximity backstage wouldn’t be viable during a pandemic.

Rose could absolutely take a dump on the dancefloor and still win. The producers are trying to inject jeopardy by calling her and Gio safe last. The real question is: will one of AJ or John fall before the final (seems unlikely as it will rely on a DO so would assume they'd be safe - the nightmare scenario is an AJ/John dance-off with Dan topping the leaderboard and sailing into the final!

It’s really hard not to love Roses’s story and what she’s achieved. For me she’s a dead cert to win.

I don’t actually think Tilly’s samba was that bad. I have seen much worse. I enjoyed watching them both dance and would have liked her to have stayed over Rhys.

Let’s hope that Dan has a samba next week. As surely he can’t survive both a rumba and a samba.
