I'm not long in from taking my dogs out and it's so quiet. I don't know if it's just in my mind because I'm anxious but it's just so quiet and eerie out there
It really is so quiet, we've had so many windy nights over the last few months, so it's definitely feeling a bit off.

Not sure of your location (and there's no need for you to share on here) but when Sean Batty tweeted this earlier, I was like, oh... Low pressure is not what we need just now.

Glad you got the dogs out in the peace🥰.

I can't sleep because weather fronts have been a hyperfocus of mine since I was in school 😆.

I just hope people genuinely stay at home. My faith in humanity after the pandemic (different ballpark obviously) is not where it once was.
I at least hope people have secured what they can in their gardens and their houses.

I think I'm a weirdo because I like the see all facts and info, that's what soothes my anxiety.

Hopefully your anxiety lessens soon and you can get some sleep 🫂

Stay safe 💞

Well that's the wind arrived 😬😬 was rudely woken by what sounded like a roof tile slowly making it's departure from the roof 😩

I'm in Yorkshire and it's pretty wild here. Can't imagine what it's like in the red areas. Stay safe everyone

I'm in east Midlands rain has stopped it's windy but not the 50mph they forecast due to be past us by midday we are pretty lucky where we are with storms we never get the full impact
Hope everyone stays staff wherever you are especially in the red warning areas I know not everyone can stay at home

North East England. We’re predicted to dodge the very worst but even here the winds must be 50-60 at a guess. The journey to work today should be ”interesting”.

I’m in Edinburgh, it’s getting pretty windy. Don’t think my fence is going to survive it 😂.

I’m glad I’m on my day off today, really did not want to be driving to and from work in that weather (I feel bad saying that but you know what I mean). Some of my colleagues have been driving 30-40 mins to get to the hospital, hopefully none of them get stuck there and all get there and home safely.

Only downside is my cat is screaming at me because he wants to go outside and I'm not letting him haha

I’m west coast and in a red area. Already got trees down/flooding and the worst isn’t going to arrive for a few hours yet!

Same, I just had to take the dog out and there's a massive tree already down in the park - not sure when it happened but well before the red warning takes effect.

My husband’s just gone out in this crazy weather - his grandmother is on palliative care at the hospital local to us and he’s been with her pretty much the whole time since yesterday morning (except when he came home to sleep last night). Other family members live too far away to risk driving in it. We’re in a red zone and I’m so nervous about him driving in it but there’s no other way, he has to be there of course. I can’t wait until it passes, it’s really scary. 😞
