Just looked up Grace Andrews and her YouTube bio says
“I left one of the biggest podcasts in the world to build something of my own. I’m a creator entrepreneur documenting the unfiltered, messy reality of building a brand, business, and creative life from scratch.”

Like… what even is a “creator entrepreneur”? Sounds like a fancy way of saying “I post content and sometimes send emails.” It’s giving LinkedIn buzzwords ugh im tired of these influencers

And tell me that whole thing doesn’t scream Steven Bartlett energy. The “I’m being so real and vulnerable right now” tone, but somehow every word still feels brand-approved

Interesting point about Ali Abdaal,in one of his recent videos, he actually mentioned wanting his staff to become known characters on his platform. Which, of course, doubles as another revenue stream: the more recognisable his team becomes, the more he can benefit from their presence while gradually downsizing his own on-camera workload. It’s very on-brand for that new era of “creator entrepreneurship”, basically turning everyone around you into scalable content while quietly stepping into CEO mode.

Still don't know what she did to get him to a millions of followers. She never really answers questions properly when interviewed

If you launch a video and it goes viral great, but if you have tonkeep editing that video re-uplaoding all the time, then shows you really don't now what toure doing

She does speak well and has that, similar to barletta. Seems like if you speak well and throw in a few key words like disruptive, disrupting etc then people will think you're an expert of some sort

Her vlogs are the same, clickbait titles that doesn't even offer anything in the videos but seems like shed working with the sidemen manager Jordan now on something, says its not a podcast...and how msrketers are begging her to write a book

let's face it, if it wasn't for Peter and Touker's credibility that would have been a laughing stock years ago, they're clinging to Emma Grede like nobody's business now to try and bring it back.

As for Grace, her 'young female founder' schtick is getting old, you're almost 30 love, hardly fresh out of college - and been given a major leg up by clinging to the griftmeister for the last 5 years - it's all buzzword bingo and bull getting sponsorships for followers

dragons den feels sooo oudated omg compared to shark tank, idk if its bc none of the british dragons den invesors have any inkling of personality compared to the us ones but my god i cant watch any dragons den episodes

no personality, too busy trying to be nice - lets all cry together because you've got a kid or broke your leg or whatever, its insufferable. Also, no real business credibility (apart from Peter and Touker) and they never really ask the proper business questions - it shows their lack of skills

The latest few seasons have definitely turned into sob story central, it's very annoying. Don't remember it being like that in older seasons.

I like Debra but she didn't start a business from scratch, she took over an existing thing and thats very different. I like Sara too but her desperate need for fame isn't quite enough to cover the fact that she basically listens to everyone else and then repeats their summing up, her credentials also don't stack up, Steven just recites bull buzzwords and confuses people with tech bro stuff until their ears bleed, he knows how to get attention, but does that create an actual sustainable business or a flash in the pan? who knows. It makes a bit of a mockery of it tbh.

Peter and Touker have both built actual massive companies from the ground up and their insights are great - I think Peter carries that show on his back though because sadly Touker seems tired of it all and basically goes there for a cup of tea and a little sit down, it's probably a nice break for him.

In his latest podcast he spoke about the fact that loads of men can't find women, basically,, and can't "pass on their genes" (what a tragedy). So should society intervene to stop this... it's really unbelievable, even for him. It's like he's suggesting the government force women to procreate against their will.
