He tweeted this earlier. Lots of weird blue tick comments in the replies about how “wonderful” and “inspirational” it will be for prisoners to… listen to an interview podcast with Rochelle from The Saturdays and the girl from Love Island.

However, the dominant response was one of “Haven’t the prisoners suffered enough?”, “I thought torture was illegal in this country?” etc.

The tweet has since been deleted. I bet the fact he’s constantly something of a viral laughing stock makes him seethe.

Saw this.

Steven is built on clout no substance.

He lied about his business being worth 300m when it sold for just 7.

Peter a real dragon and legit businessman should call him out. What a fraud.

There is something I don’t like about him on dragons den. Is it his age? Does he deserve to be there?

he comes across difficult to work with and snidely.

they are trying to appeal to the younger audience but the older dragons are still more appealing.

How can someone type so many words yet still produce a sentence with absolutely no decipherable meaning whatsoever.

I’m an educated person and have gone over this a few times, yet I still have no idea what he is trying to convey.

The more I see of him on Dragons’ Den, the less I like him. And I didn’t like him to start with.

I hope they get rid of him at the end of this series. I’m getting sick of Touker too.
I never liked him. Something off about him.
Deborah must be fuming. Imagine sharing a seat with a little twerp who lied about his fortune only to make a fortune.
Old school business people are a different breed. Toukar might be annoying but at least he is legit.

gut feeling in Bartlett.

I’m 50/50.

You cannot deny the success of The Social Chain and his stint on The Secret Millionaire was admirable (if not stage managed), his podcast has some great guests / insights but he’s not overly likeable himself?

He often talks about his failed relationships and wanting a girlfriend: I think he would be a nightmare to be with.

I’ve followed him for a while and as our head office is a Manchester based start up he’s quite well known and it’s generally agreed he’s a bit of a nob.

He’s been relentless on LinkedIn these past few days obsessively posting a mixture of quotes, thoughts and diagrams from his book: some of which are complete shit.

Who’s seen everyone tearing his Social Chain valuation to shreds on social media? Looks like that £300m was a complete lie as he’s sold for £7m

Honestly, the more people who see through Steven’s absolute bs, the better. I’m so sick of seeing friends / past colleagues sharing ‘quotes’ from him like he’s some kind of messiah. So cringe.

He doesnt care, never looks interested
I don't watch on YouTube, just listen to the podcasts but yeah I get that impression. Someone already mentioned it but he just waits until he can talk about himself. Or until he can name drop somebody, if you have someone on your podcast respect that person and the audience wanting to learn about that person's story. There's no need to name drop others with no relevance to the person they are interviewing. I find it kinda disrespectful.

I see this guy as a massive fraud tbh. He's a motivational speaker and influencer masked as a businessman. Some of the pitchers probably have more business acumen than he does. He's certainly nowhere near the same league as the other dragons.

He's like the British Gary Vee 🤮

Looks like the Dragon's Den editors are on to him, they edited a discussion about misinformation in science to focus on his shame face. I'm sure the real life conversation didn't play out that way as this man has zero self awareness, but I like them taking a swipe at him.
Came here to see if anyone had mentioned this. They did him dirty with that edit and I’m here for it!

Just listening to Steven now. He seems an ok guy, although I’m convinced he’s in the closet and the way he talks about his relationship is a bit odd. But it does irritate me, in every single interview “I’ve got this one friend, she’s really really successful …” and then he tries to shoehorn in how this ‘friend’ has got something in common with the guest he’s interviewing. His best friend and she’s female. Has anyone else noticed this? Does this ‘friend’ exist? Is it the same person he’s talking about every time I wonder. Maybe he’s talking about himself 🤔

It's this whole male loneliness epidemic that a lot of podcasters like steven and chris williamson go on about. It's always about the fact that women now expect too much. Of course in reality women just expect someone equal because you know, they do well themselves, earn their own money and our life is often easier without a man. But the solution they kind of tend to imply is that women should reduce their expectations rather than that men should up their game.
Lots of women choosing to be single and owning it like they dint care if they dint meet a man. I like this because it was not a thing for growing up in 2000s it was fibd a guy and settle. Now these guys would pick a woman or a few and still have their jobs whilst wife was home with kids and they took her for granted and got their way with others whildt she put up. They ruled for too long not women have fought back. To hell with trying to pity the man now woman are gaining equality and being bosses.
I just wish the fake ass podcasters would stop spouting their so called words of wisdom like they are the second coming.

Funniest thing, Aimee Smale (multi millionaire owner of Odd Muse who acts as if she is hard done by constantly) received a FIFTEEN minute voice note from Steven the other day. She posted about it on TikTok.

This man truly is an egotistical arsehole isn’t he, who on earth honestly thinks someone they don’t even know wants to listen to a 15 minute voice note from them? 😭😂
He knows what he's doing, he will never help a black man or woman entrepreneurs and and help them scale, his whole team is full of grace andrews, he only puts his name to people that look like his whole team and his dad

He is a fraud as has been mentioned

And now he's got a podcasting business helping other record podcasts

Hes full of shit, and best believe he didn't reach out to her because she needs help, he already knows who she is and is doing it for what he can get out of
