In his latest podcast he spoke about the fact that loads of men can't find women, basically,, and can't "pass on their genes" (what a tragedy). So should society intervene to stop this... it's really unbelievable, even for him. It's like he's suggesting the government force women to procreate against their will.

Also, his previous company social chain has horrendous reviews from workers. They were literally paying 20k a year to people who were pressured to stay late or get ousted. The guy is a disgusting excuse for a business owner and only cares about himself.

It sums up what I’ve thought about him all along. He isn’t a business mogul or a massive social media success, he literally got lucky making meme accounts when that trend was on the rise, literally anyone could have and probably did do the same - the problem was he decided to stick his face at the forefront of it all when it was likely not even him doing the leg work.

His inspirational quotes are bullshit, and as the article suggests, he has no real sound business advice to give, and that which he does offer contradicts everything he says in his book anyway, so he’s just a big fat fraud who got lucky and laughed all the way to the bank.

I’ve always disliked him and couldn’t work out why so many people thought he was so amazing, so glad to see there are others who see through him just like me.

People who don’t want to work “normal jobs” treat him like a messiah. He’s like the guru for those who think that having a social media account makes them a digital strategist.

It’s disturbing when there are so many inspirational business people out there that people could aspire to but they blindly choose to bow at the altar of Bartlett.

Again having done his plan, I’d agree wholeheartedly. According the the plan grilled chicken, boiled potatoes and salad is a bad meal for me, but if I put the overpriced seed sprinkle on top it doubles the score, same if I add one of the gut shots to a meal for the bargain price of £2 a pop. Feel like it’s a massive con (and yes more fool me for shelling out )

I’m 50/50.

You cannot deny the success of The Social Chain and his stint on The Secret Millionaire was admirable (if not stage managed), his podcast has some great guests / insights but he’s not overly likeable himself?

He often talks about his failed relationships and wanting a girlfriend: I think he would be a nightmare to be with.

I’ve followed him for a while and as our head office is a Manchester based start up he’s quite well known and it’s generally agreed he’s a bit of a nob.

He’s been relentless on LinkedIn these past few days obsessively posting a mixture of quotes, thoughts and diagrams from his book: some of which are complete shit.

My sister was the girl who was paired with him in the secret teacher. What I can say was her bits weren’t staged. She got on incredibly well with him and was a bit gob smacked when she found out “cliff” was a lie. He told her to keep in touch let him know how she’s getting on. She messaged him when she picked up her GCSEs to let him know how she’s doing however never heard back. She know feels so used and hates how he used her for clout
