Honestly, as someone who was r*ped at 17 whilst passed out drunk at a friend's house, by 2 people I had never even met before, filmed on their mobile phone and sent round to all their mates, went to the police and reported it, they were arrested, bailed, and then all charges dropped as "no evidence" I did not consent...... this makes me extremely happy and is why I have been so invested in this case. I have been silently lurking for weeks as it resonated so much.
These men (and women) cannot get away with doing this to people, and I am just so so pleased that justice has prevailed today. For Georgia, for myself, and for any other single person who has had things done/shared without their permission.

Yes but if he’s on the sex offenders register, he’ll be even more restricted and for the first couple of weeks be required to be monitored weekly/ fortnightly Which I imagine will be the case since he’s on bail.

That btw won't have made a good impression on the judge, he showed straight away he's not going to accept any responsibility by blaming the press and saying he didn't get a fair trial!

My friend messaged me just before 17:00 saying she got a news alert on her phone saying he had been found guilty. She didn’t follow or know much about him, I filled her in when we last saw each other as I was checking on the case dates here.

That means that everyone who has the bbc news notifications on, would have been pinged about the verdict.

A huge majority of the nation who didn’t even know the idiot now know he is an idiot! How funny.

Sky news done the same. They pinged everyone who has the app.
